Ionia Free Fair Assn

«Free» He-​he! They don’t charge you at the gate because they make you pay to park. Unfree fairs do it the other way around. Otherwise, just all the usual stuff: rides, carnies, noise, greasy food. The kids like it.

The Ionia Free Fair is a great way to enjoy one of the last weeks of July in Ionia. There is something for everyone in the family. The rides and games go all week.
My favoirte part is the animal barns (great for kids and adults) and the Tractor Pulls. The Tractor Pull event is a two night event, either night is good. The firtst night I would recommend since you will see more that night. I went the first time 3 years ago and now it is our annual tradition to go. It is alway really hot though. It is a great guy event. The tractors, modify’s, pickups and semi’s are awsome. It is very loud so bring some earplugs if you have the kids along. It is quite a specticle you don’t want to miss.
Try it out if you haven’t been. If you enjoy being outside, love a country fair or, deisel and jet engine power, this is the event for you!!!
