Understanding Principles For Better Living

The name of this church says it all. The lessons helped me understanding God principles that have simply made my life better. It is a positive, loving, accepting environment that breaks down the teaching of Jesus so that I can directly relate it back to my own life.
The founder/​minister is Della Reese. She was ministering this congregation long before she became the star of Touched by an Angel. The musician are everything you would expect Della Reese to deliver — with choir directors that have sang with legends like Ray Charles and Smokey Robinson.
The philosophy is New Thought Christian. Simply put, it’s showed me how to see the Bible as a living map or my contract with God (I do this, He does that) instead of just a history book.
