My favorite place for Mexican bread! Especially the vanilla conchas! They do take credit cards but charge .50

The conchas are delicious from here my dad loves them. We usually get like about 16 at a time. A few years back I ordered my cake from here. They were awesome and made it black just how I wanted it with red roses. Was delicious. Loved it.

OK bakery nothing out of this world. Uae to go there often until one of the workers always said that she was hungry and wanted a bread, told her to get one for herself, she said no because then she would have to pay for it… more like she was asking customers to buy her one. Parking is a but of a hassel, once in a while you find a few homeless there makes you think twice about leaving your car.

The bread and cakes here are awesome and I mean awesome, really tasty but the only complaint I have is the ladies that work there, they don’t know how to treat the costumers, they don’t make you feel welcome, we ordered a cake and I was telling her wah we need and she seems to be very annoyed I almost feel like they were rushing me.

Okay so this is by all means the best pan dulce on this side of town, a little over priced but it beats the market pan dulce that’s handled by everyone and most likely it’s also in a display full of flys like at Lupitas Bakery On Florence(never going back to that place). The variety of bread has its own unique taste and it’s always fresh! The only reason why I’m not giving five stars it’s because the customer service is horrible! The ladies that help you always seem to have an attitude and just seem miserable. So five stars for the baker but the service is lame. So to sum it up if you don’t mind getting attitude in exchange of some tasty pan dulce this is it :) I highly recommend the REBANADAS! this place makes the best! My husband and I have tried them in many other bakeries and this place makes them really good oh and the CONCHAS are also very good! Yummmmmm! :)

Well here we go again. My sister in law bought me a birthday cake from here. Regular chocolate cake. Chocolate filling. And I might say, hands down soooo good. The icing is not too sweet! And bread is moist. Thumbs up!

I’ve been going here since I could barely walk haha. The pan dulce here has always been so good ever since. This is my first choice to go whenever I want to go buy some. It has never disappointed me since and i’ll probably continue to come here for a long time haha. Try some if your in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

I’m very torn about this place, because we love their bread and cakes, and their prices are so fair. I love supporting neighborhood small businesses, and if they hadn’t continually messed up cake orders I would give them five stars. As far as taste goes, you can’t go bad with this bakery. And their cheesecake is one of the bests. It’s not overly sweet, and it’s just perfectly fluffy. I’ve yet to have a cake that tasted too dry coming from Mima’s. So if this is your concern, you will really like them. My problem lies in the fact that they can’t keep their orders straight. The last four cakes(FOURCAKES!) they’ve totally screwed up on, without even giving the option to fix it or give a discount on the already paid for cake. One baby shower cake that I specifically asked for in PINK was made in blue. When I picked it up they were like«oops! sorry! the decorator is gone now, so we can’t fix it. so either you take it or you have no cake to serve at your party.» Then on another cake they got the filling wrong, not to mention that it wasn’t decorated in the same way we had requested. And then the other two cakes they totally misspelled the greeting and name. How hard is it to spell«Mike» or «Cindy»? Dudes, please. Get it together. It’s a shame to recommend you to friends the way y’all are operating now.

My sister’s BF was craving churros but we couldn’t find a place close enough to the airport so we ended up here. None of us were very experienced with the different types of mexican pastries so we spend a good 20 minutes drilling the girl behind the counter about the different types of pastries they had. We all ended up ordering several and everyone enjoyed what they got. I’m glad we got there during a relatively slow time though because immediately after we sat down with what we ordered a million people walked in.

We chose to get our wedding cake from this bakery because it was reasonably priced and near our reception location. We got the mocha cake, which was tasty, but that is the only positive thing we have to say about this place. They were completely unprofessional from the moment we began working with them. When we first called, they said they delivered, which was obviously an important service for a wedding cake. After we went in for tasting, chose a flavor and design and pain the deposit, they told us they couldn’t deliver because their baker who usually delivers would be out of town. Strike one. We luckily had a friend that could pick it up for us and despite their claims that the cake was easy to assemble, it was completely unstable and we couldn’t even cut the first tier of the cake because it would have fallen. Strike two. When we went back to the bakery to return the platters(to get back our $ 40 deposit) we were told that we couldn’t get our deposit back because there was a tiny peice missing– which we are not even sure was included in the first place. Strike 3. If you need a cookie or a simple treat, not a bad bakery. If you are looking for a place you can trust for an important event… not the place to go.

Nice little panaderia offering the standard pastries as well as more American items like donuts and smoothies.
