Shakey’s Pizza Parlor

This location is understaffed. Upon ordering, I only witnessed two employees at the time of «happy hour». This should not be a standard if it is. Especially during a promotional time (happy hour).
Food took longer than it usually should take. This is unacceptable from a customers point of view. Please take this review serious and consider being staffed more appropriately.
Food is great as always.

It’s been years since I’ve stepped foot in a Shakey’s. What else can I say than great service and tasty comfort food. I would definitely come back again. :)

I’m gonna start off with how impressed I am with their staff lately. Years ago when I first started coming the staff wasn’t as attentive or affable as you would think but I guess times have changed and so has their staff! Walked in around 7pm and ordered a small 9inch pizza with a half order of mojos and the woman behind the counter offered one of their «deals», so I said ok. Although she did warn me it would take about 20 min for my pizza, which I wasn’t too excited about, another employee walked around and greeted us, asked if we needed anything, and told us how much longer it would be for our order, which I liked! The attentiveness and kindliness I have never experienced at this Shakey’s before! Anywho, normally I don’t like too much sauce on my pizza and I had forgotten to ask for «light sauce» but when my order came out the pizza was actually really good! It had just the right amount of sauce and it was cooked to perfection, not too saggy and not too burned! The mojos were also delicious as always! I’m happy with this Shakey’s now and can’t wait to go back!

Recently my family and I bombarded the place, unannounced, with six eight-​year-​olds in tow. The date was Saturday, December 12. The staff could not have been more accommodating and professional. They took our cake and held it for us in the fridge. They were attentive to the numerous needs of our large party. We felt like we were having a private party with the level of attention the staff gave.
Of course, the kids loved the pizza, chicken, and mojo potatoes. I am so glad we decided to drop in.
Big shout out to Derek, Alex, Valeria, and Galindo! They were all excellent to our party. They did everything from suggesting the best meal deals for our large party to bringing us the to go containers on cue. You guys rock!!! They all deserve a HUGE raise!$$$$$

I’ve actually enjoyed the BUNCH –O-​LUNCH buffet many times over many years at this particular restaurant. As well, it usually an enjoyable and filling experience. BUT (hate it when there’s a compliment followed by a but), my wife and I made the mistake of choosing to eat there on a Sunday! We both despise restaurants who allow it’s patrons to let their brats run rampant like animals! For some odd reason, a great place like this attracts a crowd that seems to represent the bottom of the barrel of humanity! When you watch people jump the line, or children grab food from the buffet with bare hands, or adults using a used plate, it kinda makes the entire experience seem like just another day on the farm! What’s worse is when you watch this while management watches it right along with everyone else! So, I whole heartedly recommend this place, only if you want to be able to enjoy the meal then for God’s sake don’t go on a Sunday! Instead, go to Disneyland, with all the low class people at shakeys there should be minimal lines!

This is a great place to enjoy family time and grub on some delicious food, the staff is kind and truly goes beyond to make your experience the best
Only downside is out of about 10 games only 4 of them work
Other than that it’s a great place

Came in today to watch some sports and eat some pizza. My mojos, some of them were a bit hard. Pizza was cheesy. Had a staff member check on me constantly, which is a good thing.
I understand we all like different sports. But gees the guy in the table next to me requested to change channels. Next thing I know, all 4 surrounding tv’s were on the same channel.
I was on my way out any way, and I’m not one to complain. I wonder if they ever had any issues with customers and preferences as to what sport is on TV.

Not in the best locations, but Inglewood is coming up! I have so many childhood memories, I really do enjoy coming here and most of the pizza and mojo’s of course.
Location: On a major Cross Street, you can’t miss it.
Staff: It’s simple, you place your order and they give you a number and deliver it. You don’t deal with them too much. But they are friendly.
Food: There pizza has to be on of my favorites! Thin crust of course, no greasy or loaded with cheese. I don’t like when pizza’s are super greazy I get grossed out. Mojos are also my favorite, I dont think you’ll find any like here, if you do let me know. Fried chicken, I’m not a fan of fried chicken so I don’t really eat any. Salad bar, yum.
Prices: I had lunch yesterday, ordered a small/​mini pizza for 8.99 and mojo’s 4.99. I feel it was reasonable for two. But I’ll admit it get prices, check out there happy hour specials that have great deals.

Great spot hidden near LAX. Went there with Tammy for Monday night football and what a great time we had. Not crowded at all and they have great service. We will be going back soon!!!

This place is dangerous when your hungry it’s Happy Hour, AND the employees are so darn friendly and patient! I was in complete awe with the Customer Service of Nancy. She was patient with my son and I because we had no clue what we wanted. She suggested items, and let me know it was Happy Hour. That’s all I needed… SOLD! LoL
So we ordered the Siracha Chicken Pizza (which is pretty spicy), 2 orders of bread sticks, chicken wings, boneless wings (which are super small… don’t order those if you love meat), 2 half orders of Mojo’s, and One Mojo Supreme (no bacon). See, told y’all we were hungry… LOL
While waiting for the food my son was playing in the arcade area and found extra tickets, 6 to be exact. There wasn’t many options for that ticket amount, so when he was at the counter, Alex allowed for my son to pick anything from the top row of prizes. That made my son happy and me pleased with the generosity.
I also enjoyed the conversation I had with a guy who works there (didn’t get his name) about growing up in Inglewood and how things have changed over the years.
Fast fwd, our order is brought to us while were at the table and we were thanked. I checked it, as everyone should to ensure all items are there. Before I could let Nancy know we were missing 2 items, she was already at the table apologizing for forgetting them. Wow! I’ll definitely be back… well I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, so why not. :)

I love Shakey’s… I love this location they are always kind and very helpful! I do not understand how the fried chicken stays so hot… It’s a winner! My favorite out of everything are the mojo’s… Always the right atmosphere!

It takes a while to get your order and it’s freezing cold! But hey it’s alright pizza is pretty darn good

Still a winner in my book for old time pizza parlor. Lunch special is awesome. Great for families large or small. Pizza taste the same. Great!

This food was tasty and the customer service was great. There’s two separate dining areas, one for big parties and the other for smaller parties. Since it was just me and my boyfriend, we choose a table in the smaller dining area, and we had fun. Everything came out quickly and was delicious! Keep doing what you’re doing. It made us happy!

Great place to eat! Enjoyed the flatscreens on the wall. Nice clean place to enjoy lunch.

The pizza’s really good but they are always busy. It’s best to call in your order before hand like I do

Came to this location on ³⁄₁₅ because my daughter had a free mini pizza voucher that she received at school. Huge mistake! Place was filthy and unattended.
Ordered the salad bar and the lettuce tasted old and unwashed. The macaroni salad had watery substance in the container.
Pizza — was mediocre and not hot!
Chicken and mojo were so very salty!
Will think twice about coming here.

All time Fave Pizza! I moved to Vegas 4 years ago and I always crave Shakeys. Too bad there are no Shakeys here in Vegas :(. The Mojos are so good! I recommend this place to anyone. Its even good for bday parties. My daughter had her first bday party here and they were very accommodating. Great Place and Food!

Chicken and MOJO’s. Need I say more. Greatest combination since Peanut butter and jelly. Ham and Cheese, Cookies and milk. Shakeys is the business. If you can go there for the lunch buffet.

Good for birthday parties. Has a nice area that is easily sectioned off so there is some privacy from the public and also has a window to the kitchen/​bar. The food is still the same as I remember. Only downfall is that the game room is really small for the kids, very few games for children under 5yrs, and prize selection is limited.
