I thought the salsa and chips were decent, although my parents thought it lacked flavor. I ordered a pyramid tostada, but didn’t get a chance to taste it since it had hair in it. I was going to just have them remake it, but when I asked why the first one didn’t have guacamole as shown in the picture, I was told that it no longer comes with guacamole… The waitress was unmoved by my request to make an accommodation since the menu provided false advertisement; she didn’t seem at all concerned about losing a customer.

This place has the absolute yummiest food. I’ve been there after the after hours at 4 in the morning and durning normal daytime hours and the food is delicious!!! I love their shrimp in ranchero sauce! They give you plenty on your plate. I would give them a four or five if I hadn’t had the experience I had today. My sister and I went to eat around(5pm today) the waitress spoke very little English. My sister asked her, do they have shrimp enchiladas. The waitress said ‘yes’. The waitress then proceeded to say it is a $ 1 more that regular enchiladas. When the bill came, we were charged for regular enchilada plus $ 5.25 because they were shrimp. Instead of shrimp enchiladas being $ 1 more than regular enchilada, they are $ 1.75 more PER enchilada! HUGE difference. Love the place, might need a little improvement on communicating with English speaking customers.

Used to be a good place to eat. The waitresses think they’re pretty therefore they have to talk to every guy who comes in, this just slows down the service and they mess up our order because they were not paying attention when you ordered. Like I said it used to be a good place to eat.

Just ate here before going to the airport, food was great! Especially the carne asada, there were a lot of choices in the menu that are worth the try

Ok, So I walked in with a friend and was not acknowledged for at least five minutes. The waitress finally came over gave us menus and left. I had to call her back to let her know I was ready to order. The Service SUCKS!!! The waitress did not check on my table not one time. she pretty much ignored my table. Then as she is delivering food to another table she dropped food on the mans shirt and didn’t even bother to tell him. So, now I am done eating and again I have to call and request for the bill and to go boxes she drops it off and leaves doesn’t come back so I placed money on the table and left. I can see through the window that she walks really fast to table to see if I paid. But note people we were never acknowledged. The food was okay I’ve had better. But to be honest the service was so bad I could not even enjoy the food. I will not be back anytime soon.

I’ve eaten here a few times and I’m really happy with the food. The service is what brought this place down. During my last visit with my gal pals, after requesting our check and noticing two items on it that were not ordered or consumed, I asked the waiter to correct the bill. He’s response was«You’re white, you can afford it.» I thought, perhaps he’s just making a bad joke, lets give him another try. As I was returning from the restroom — he made the comment again, that«all white people are rich.» Now, I understand this may be how he sees people however this is unacceptable on so many levels. In the end, the bill was not corrected. I wish I remembered the mans name.

Food was good. price was high. weird customer service guy was touching my food while I was eating then drops it by accident then replaces it. he wanted to know how tall I was and made me get up I felt like a celebrity getting annoyed.

This place used to be good but not anymore. You have to pay for music which makes the environment boring and the food doesn’t taste the make things worst… they are now cash only lol. This place sucks now.

We ordered the oysters mixta, camarones cucarachas, a Cadillac and a michelada. All were super delicious! Our waitress, Olivia, was extremely helpful and sweet. She answered all our questions which helped us order exactly what we were in the mood for. I will definitely return and will definitely recommend this place to the rest of my family.

Well this time we sat at the bar and the service was up to par. I do think that this place favors return customers. Felt like the second time we went here for dinner we had much better service. Will be going back soon.

I was introduced to this place since I was a little girl. My parents have always been big on seafood and this is where we would frequent often. I usually come here now when I’m craving authentic fresh seafood or just a quick appetizer and drinks with friends. Their tostadas de ceviche de Camaron and their camarones a la Diabla are delicious. But my favorite is their aguachiles. 2nd best place I have had them(sorry guys but my mom recipe takes the 1st place on those). Their Micheladas are honestly the best. When paired with the aguachiles– your mouth will be on fire but your taste buds will enjoy it. Even typing that sentence made my mouth water. Ohhh! & best thing about this place: it’s open 24hours. This review is based on their seafood, and their seafood only.(& Micheladas) I have never tried any of their other Mexican plates that consist of meat, chicken, Blah blah blah. This is a seafood restaurant, meaning it specializes in seafood. Reason I don’t order anything other than seafood is because I’m Mexican so I can have tacos and all that other stuff at home.

Surprising little hole in the wall restaurant close to my new office by LAX. My coworkers and I decided to try this placed out after seeing several of the Unilocal photos. We tried the oysters, shrimp fajitas, shrimp and fish in garlic sauce, and hard shell tacos. All the food(with the exception of the taco shell) was surprisingly delicious — especially the garlic sauce and fajita sauce. Will definitely be back!

What the heck is up with service these days?! Came in for a quick lunch based on the Unilocal reviews and Unilocal,Unilocal Unilocal… have you steered me wrong or what! Soooo not attentive and while the 2 lady servers didn’t seem miserable to be there while talking and laughing with the kitchen staff and bartender, they sure didn’t want to be assisting any customers — oh right… and there were only like 3 tables filled. Not smiling + dirty looks when I tried to make eye contact almost made me want to walk out. For real. Had to flag someone down anytime I needed something since I didn’t get checked on once. And had to go to the counter to pay since I never got my check. The food was also very mediocre — I got the crispy asada taco /cheese enchilada combo plate. Sure the portions were pretty big, but it was pretty much worse than any Mexican food place I’ve been to. The asada here had so much gristle, I spit out half my dorado taco. The salsa was good though… and the chips were thin and crispy… but if I was craving Mexican again — this would probably be on the bottom of my list of places to go. Disappointed.
