Reggae wings were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The workers there had a great attitude and the food didn’t take long to be prepared either.

It’s a small– hole in the wall restaurant but the food was delish! Recommend the jerk chicken– well seasoned, not over-cooked, and juicy to the last bite!

I stopped in to have the jerk chicken. When I saw goat on the menu I had to try it. Wow authentic jerk rice and peas cabbage and fried plantains. Tasted even better than the lunch I had in Ocho Rios.

The food was pretty good, the prices are really good for a Jamaican restaurant in LA.

Omg, this place is still just as good as I remember. Maybe even more so. I haven’t been to any other Jamaican spots in LA, but with Front Page in my back pocket, I really don’t feel the need to stray. Gave the sorrel drink a try this time and it was mighty good. It’s a strong one, so be forewarned. But flavor packed. This spot gets busy for the business lunch crowd, something to keep in mind if you are looking for a quick stop. Although, take out is always an easy alternative option.

Amazing! Delicious! Ordered the jerk chicken breast and a side of their wings — which she warns are spicy and they didn’t disappoint! Great customer service!

Wondering if folks who have given this place high ratings even know what good Jamaican food is supposed to taste like. The plantains were dry, goat curry had sad looking shreds of dry goat. The jerk chicken was also dry. The lady at front made no effort to even fake hospitality. Don’t waste your time going here unless you don’t know better or have other choices. Seriously!

Okay so I tried this place today despite some of the reviews, two stars, customer service was great and the place was very clean:) I got a oxtail lunch and West Indians you’ll understand when I say the meat smelled fresh, they didn’t wash the meat, please wash with lime, lemon or vinegar. I only could stomach two pieces, it was salty as all hell, no flavor and watered down. The rice was prepared in a rice cooker and the can kidney beans was mixed in later, definitely could tell, then to make matters worse, they put the damn runny salty sauce on the rice The cabbage was also salty, the two piece of plantain was great. Most definitely won’t be back for two piece of plantain. If someone on here knows real Jamaican food, like Flatbush food from Brooklyn, I will love a recommendation, trying the jerk spot tomorrow, I’ve heard great things, fingers crossed

This place is the absolute best! So, firstly, the lady behind the counter was SUPER cool and nice, she squeezed us in even though they were closing up and she even gave us free cups of her homemade ginger beer which was PHENOMENAL. Wow, I would come here just for the juice, I swear! Then the food was great, too. We got curried goat and jerk chicken and both were totally awesome!!! The goat was my favorite, so many delicious spices, the beans and rice were also great. Next time I can’t wait to try some of the oxtail! I love supporting mom and pop shops like this one, especially when the owners are so cool, I can’t wait to return and bring friends. :D

Good food & nice people! Thanks to Unilocal for showing me this place when the 405 seemed like a parking lot. I enjoyed the Curried Chicken. I’m planning to try the Jerk chicken next.

This place had such stellar reviews I had to try it. Unfortunately, they close early, so it was always difficult to eat here when I was in the area. I almost missed the parking lot where it’s located because it seems to be in such a random location. Customer service gets 5+ stars! When I called in my order, I was told they don’t have curry shrimp so I ordered the grilled shrimp instead. When I got there, a young man told me they made the curry shrimp for me in hopes that I’d be okay since it was my first option. I was pleased. The lady behind the counter was super cordial as well. We made small talk while she rang me up. The owner was meeting with 2 men about catering and I loved the down to earth tone conversation they were having. As for food, it was tasty. But I was disappointed with the portions. I literally had about 9 shrimp in my container. There was more of a watery sauce than a thick curry that I expected. Perhaps I should’ve stuck with the jerk shrimp since the curry wasn’t on the menu to begin with. I was ready to dig into a large portion of cabbage. Boy, was I fooled. There was a tiny spoonful of it as well. Rice and peas were okay. They were fresh and I was glad the rice wasn’t clumpy and hard. Plantains had a nice sweet flavor and weren’t greasy. Guess I should’ve ordered an extra side because there was 2 small pieces in the tray(normal for most Jamaican eateries). After reading reviews, I couldn’t wait to bite into the festival bread. Before I hit the freeway, I dug into my to-go container to eat it. I was highly disappointed!!! It doesn’t even come with the meals. Not even ONE piece!!! I guess I would’ve known that if I had a menu when I called in my order. I was super bummed out. Overall, flavors were good. The portions are definitely much, much less than other Jamaican spots I’ve eaten at, especially for the prices. At least ONE piece of festival bread should come with the meals. Not sure if it’s worth eating here again when there are better, bigger portions in the area. Sorry, I tried and wanted to enjoy this place…

This place is legit, and authentic. Was recently in the caribbean and the menus are pretty much synced up. I like everything I’ve had here. The goat curry, the oxtail. It’s ALL good. it’s a bit heavy, the people who own the place are very nice. Seating is a bit limited so during lunch that could be an issue. I was working in the area which is how I found the place, thanks to help.

I love LA because you can always find the most random gems! Thanks to Unilocal,we stumbled upon this family-owned business just minutes from our apartment. We’ve eaten here 3 times in the past 6 months. Just recently, we asked the owner a bunch of questions about Jamaica since we are going there for vacation in February. She entertained some of our questions, and then said, «OK, no more questions!» HAHA. Love her spunky personality! As a classic dish, you should get the jerk chicken. «Juk cheekan» hehe. It’s amazing! I heard the jerk pork is good, too. Must try that next time! I love the short ribs, because I’m a short ribs kind of girl. It’s not really authentic Jamaican, but as the owner was telling me, it’s a combination of her southern style meat and her husband’s Jamaican style seasoning. Personally, I think it’s a winning combination. The oxtail was pretty delicious but a little too fatty/greasy in my opinion. We haven’t gotten that one again. The goat curry was pretty good, but I’m not really a goat person so next time I probably will try another meat with the same curry. Their reggae wings are delicious… but SPICY. OMGSPICY. I love spicy, but these are too hot for me to handle. We always always always come too late for the roasted fish!!! Ugh. They close at 7, and their last order is around 5:30… We will try it someday… SOMEDAY.

My first ever experience with Jamaican food has started with front page Jamaican grill when I initially moved to LA, that was almost two years ago and I instantly fell in love with their food. Since then I have eaten multiple times here and tasted almost everything on their menu. They had maintained consistency and quality of their food which makes people come back all the time. A very simple looking interior of this restaurant not only serves great food but also the owners are super sweet people, always very welcoming and warm.
