Omg the grilled garlic butter shrimp and basa fish over rice is sooooooooo good I love the fact they give you an option to grill because they do it GREAT!!!

Big fish makes big fish! Tasty, hot and plentiful, this is the go to spot for my Uncle and his girlfriend every week. On his recommendation I went and had the catfish the first time and the whiting the second. Both were very good although a touch heavy on the seasoning. That’s an easy fix though as it’s made to order and just tell them to use less. Service is slow, might want to call ahead. Ample parking though it shares a lot with Church’s. My Uncle says try the catfish tail which I will next time. No place to sit and eat it’s strictly order to go and a few chairs while you wait, which you will if you don’t call ahead.

The verdict is in… Yea they live up to all of the hype. The food is definitely delish. Fresh, nicely seasoned and hot after taking 25 minutes to make it back home lol.
I ordered the Oyster Combination. Really good in flavor and quality. The oysters were cooked to perfection with a hint of lemon. Scrumy yummy ;)
The fries. Ummm, well. Can’t really go wrong with French fries. Ordered sole as my fish. Perfectly fried. The hush puppies were good. I couldn’t quite tell if they buy the frozen brand or make them fresh. Works for me because they were good regardless. Last on the review list lies the Snow Crab. This is the only hiccup I came across. Don’t get me wrong. It’s good but was a bit underflavored. They only charge by the pound. After paying $ 20 for the crab alone, I did expect better.
Overall grand tasting experience. I will patronize this place in the future. The service is good and so is the food. Swing by when you are in the neighborhood.

Man… these guys know what they are doing!!! Food is always hot and fresh. never a bad fishy smell when you go to pick up. And dem greens… ON POINT!!! I tell everyone about this place. Call in for faster services.

Looks good quick and fast tasty ok its NOT the best fish market ive been to. It wasn’t season but it was hot & fresh. Im a BAY girl fish market. ill stick with FAMILY FISH!

The reason why I decided to to give them 5 stars is simply because their customer service it’s wonderful and their food is great me and my grandmother has been eating at this place for the last year we were always eat at world seafood but this place definitely knock them out the box.

I love this place because they offer grilled fish! I had shrimp over rice. It also comes with garlic bread. Rice doesn’t have much flavor so I added tartar sauce and hot sauce which blended well! If you avoid fish markets because you’re steering away from fried foods, stop by this place for the grilled option!

Just don’t go here. It’s in the neighborhood so I thought I’d try it. The first time I went the guys were saying how good the food is and how they’d bet I’d be back. I got grilled fish. Pass! The second time I went was because I was too lazy to go to my usual fish fry a little further away. I got fried fish this time, thinking everything is good fried. Clearly, that isn’t the case with this place. Just avoid it!

This is my favorite fish place. The frontline is friendly and professional. I usually get their grilled salmon. It is slightly better than my own salmon recipe. Fish is always fresh and reasonably priced. Customer service is great! My only pet peeve is that on some rare occasions, they run out of catfish tails. I don’t know why they don’t save one for me. They should know, by now, when I am coming!

Great friendly service from your local fish fry. No pretentiousness here-​just a straightforward fish market serving up fish or shrimp grilled or fried. No tables here. just a real fish market so you’ll need to eat in your car or head over to a local park.
My wife got the grilled snapper with collard greens-​very flavorful. I had the fried snapper with fries-​very good. Prices are very affordable. The only downside is that they don’t make their o wn tartar sauce. The guy at the counter was super nice and asked if it was our first time and I responded yes and he threw in an extra piece of fish. Not many places are that generous. I’m back in this area in a few weeks and will be back.

Omg mmm!!! Soooo good! I wasn’t a huge fish fan, but this place changed my mind and had me craving their orange roughy, jumbo shrimp, and crabslaw over and over again! So fresh and flavorful; everything is seasoned perfectly, it’s good without any sauce :) I’m also a huge fan of their peach cobbler. Also, the staff is so friendly and quick and the management is the best!
This place is a must try!

Yum Yum!!! Call in order for ¹⁰⁄₁₀ filet of sole & shrimp. Hush puppies & potato salad. Everything was delicious. The hush puppies were a bit crispier than I like but great flavor. I could eat those shrimp all day!!! First time here and it’s a winner. I’ll definitely go back.
***update! I’ve eaten her a few times now and the food is always fantastic except for the consistently overlooked hush puppies (still great flavor so I keep getting them).

Big Fish Market it’s all in the name they serve decent size portions… Big pieces of fish… had the lunch special… Customer service was good. The fish was very tasty with the right amount of seasoning and the crust was crunchy…

I am a chef and I think they have great fish. I have never had a bad fish experience here. It’s fresh, hot, well seasoned, crisp and plentiful. The fries are standard frozen, but not bad.
As a chef, I don’t expect this place to fix 5 star fish, but it’s very good. The sides need revamping. The macaroni salad is basic and the coleslaw is not good at all. Hush puppies are OK and the greens are a little bland. An overhaul to their sides would rank them as top contenders for one of the best for local fish eateries.
This place got 4 stars from me because there fish is the première dish and I like it. Sides don’t matter much to me, I can make my own. Big fish has great customer service and awesome fish. I will continue to patronize them.

This place is really good, right across the street from my hair salon (Le Chic Hair Design) so whenever I was hungry and in need of a hair break I’d go there for my same order of either Fillet O Sol or Catfish and it was delicious every time hands down.

As soon I got the order it was done, very pleasant. Fried fish is good.
