The Spa at Indio

If you want a Burke Williams-​type experience with a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, endless cucumber spa water, then you will be disappointed by this bare-​bones building. However, if you want THE BEST MASSAGE OF YOUR LIFE, then book your massage with Laura (or as any of my five fellow massage-​o-​philes will attest, any of the masseuses will be incredible). If you don’t want a deep tissue massage but also don’t want to just be lightly rubbed (Swedish), the book the Swedish and ask your masseuse to «go a little deeper.» You will not be sorry!

Just had a wonderful facial by Lupita! She was very caring and professional! I feel wonderful and will go back tomorrow for a Micro Dermabrasion! Would highly recommend!

I just had a massage with Daniel and, although I indulge in a massage once a month, I’ve never enjoyed such a wonderful massage. I would travel far for his skilled hands.

I decided to treat myself to a massage for my birthday, but was apprehensive about having a male technician thankfully, it turned out to be hands down the best decision I’d made in some time. Well worth the money Daniel was A M A Z I N G!!! I would have asked him to marry me but didn’t want to get thrown off the property! His hands are like next level. The perfect amount of pressure aaaaand he didn’t talk thank goodness. If you need a deep tissue massage I strongly suggest you request Daniel, and if he is not available… wait!!! You won’t regret it! His skill alone will make up for the lack of «Spa» amenities and ambiance… when he is done you wont care HONESTLY!!! I will drive from the IE to Indio exclusively to have Daniel do my massages going forward.

This is a great little place that has miracle worker’s of a staff. The message is fantastic and the deal with Unilocal made it easy too. But its actually located at the Wyndham.

3 Star for the Facility– We were hoping for a spa like experience with robes, and a quiet waiting area, etc. The space is very small and we had to wait in their public waiting area until our appointment. Not too relaxing since people from the pool area kept walking in and out to shop.
4 Star for the Massage– The massage itself was great but save your money on the scrub, it wasn’t anything special. We did a couples massage and both walked out missing that relaxed feeling you normally have when going to a spa.
For the same price as a normal spa, I think I’ll save my money next time.

Daniel was the best. I’ve had many massages but this one was over the top.

The people were nice and very professional, however, for the price, I expected a grander overall spa experience. No robe, no relaxing waiting room with soft lighting and water. The treatments themselves were good, but the atmosphere was lacking.

I had an incredible deep tissue massage. My mother had heard of the great service they offer and took her advice. The ladies who work there are very friendly and welcoming. My masseuse was very attentive to my needs. I must admit it is not easy to find a lady who can give a really awesome deep tissue massage. It was very relaxing in every way imaginable. I would definitely return to Indio to try their other offerings. A must recommend.

It’s definitely convenient and the services are great. The facial was performed really well. The body wrap was hydrating and left my skin incredibly soft. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 is the ambiance could be nicer and more spa-​like with nicer décor and a steam room/​sauna area with an area to relax after the services are performed and it was very pricey.

I had a great experience at the spa at Indio, Laura was amazing! I had my first reflexology treatment and I left feeling very relaxed. I also tried the hair/​scalp treatment and wasn’t much of a fan, it smelled great and left my hair soft but I also felt very oily and was expecting more of a face/​shoulder massage along with the scalp. The boutique has cool unique items and jewelry at reasonable prices. If I return to Indio I would definitely go back to the spa!

Oh my! What a wonderful massage and body scrub! This Spa is well worth driving to North Indio, or if you are staying at the Resort, make an appointment! I consider myself a massage conasur’ and this was the best massage and body scrub I’ve ever had. Thank you Lisa and Maryhelen!
