Getting more window coverings for my second home in the valley, this one is in Bighorn Country Club. I had such a wonderful experience with Todd the first time around, that I am using him, and his company again! My second home will be coming with wood and vinyl shutters, three awnings, motorized exterior solar shades, and a few blinds for my bathtub windows. THIS is a high quality company, and again, they had no problem setting me up with a Saturday appointment. Their showroom has been updated and as I stand here all I can say is «Wow». This is a company that is no BS and treat you exactly like they are putting the window coverings up in their own home. I was looking at getting four motorized awnings, but they told me that there is no need for me to waste my money on the extra awning when they can make my larger of the three, cover the area that I was concerned about. So instead of just lying and saying «Okay we will do four awnings.», and pocketing the money, they actually SAVED me money. What other company out there can you find out there that would do that? We are finishing crunching the numbers now and it is already coming out to way less than I expected. I am looking forward to having all these new window coverings installed in my new home. And, by the way, we are still enjoying the window coverings at our other home in Del Webb, and have had no problems whatsoever. I can’t wait to have these installed!

Don’t use Majestic unless you enjoy being disrespected and having your precious time wasted! I called Majestic with hopes of having them come and do repairs on shutters that were in a home we recently bought. One the phone the rep told me «UNLIMITED REPAIRS» of shutters would be $ 150, including all new pins and rods that were broken. I told her We also need some shutters shortened by ½″ to accommodate out new flooring and drywall. No problem she said, and that would be included. I waited over a week and a half to have their repair guy show up and scoff at what I needed done, and say he didn’t have the needed tools to cut the blinds with him… the blinds would need to go to the shop, not today but next week, and that the cuts were $ 25 per panel… and that is not considered a «repair» but an «installation» so it would be a lot more. I have the tools, but he wouldn’t use mine. Obviously the rep on the phone didn’t listen to what I said I needed done. Somehow there was a miscommunication. I could have had him stay and do just the pin repairs but he was so rude and accusatory I said «No thanks!» to him and quickly showed him the door! My husband said I was very patient and that he would have sent him out much faster.
I know this does make everyone at Majestic Shutters unprofessional, but their installers hostile attitude just cost that company thousands of my intended business. The repairs were just the beginning… I’d planned to order all my screens and remote controlled outdoor blinds from them. I’ll be looking elsewhere now!

I looked around at some different companies in the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas. They all claimed that they were «family owned», «hand built», and «custom made». After meeting with a few different reps I was quickly informed that Majestic was one of the only companies that was actually hand made, custom built, and family owned and operated. I felt better knowing that my shutters would be built by hand locally, and not shipped in from out of the area or China! Knowing that they are a family run business I knew that they staked their name on their reputation and I am very pleased with the work that was done. They were competitively priced and took pride in their work. If you are looking for a company that you can trust, and one where you will definitely get what you pay for, choose Majestic.

I met with Todd Kinder in regards to a retractable awning for my back yard. I was content to get a manual crank out version; however he insisted I go with the motorized unit which was an increase in price I did not have budgeted. He told me the benefits of the motorized unit and how the wind sensor would automatically retract it if I forgot to crank it in one night. After much consideration, we went with the motor and the extra expense. The very FIRST night we had it installed, we were lying in bed than all of a sudden we heard the motor running. I looked up and realized I did not crank it in and the wind sensor triggered the unit to retract. If Todd had not detailed all of the benefits, my new awning would have blown away. Highly Recommended.
