I moved near this establishment so this has been the go to chinese spot for the past few months. My main complaint is that the food all skews towards the sweet end of flavor. Even if you order it «extra spicy» it really won’t be. My other issue(and this may feed into the first issue, considering the sauces tend to be sweet) is that they really pile on the sauce here. Everything is «wet». I can honestly see these things being«plusses» in someone else’s book. It just depends on what you like. They do have a decent price and nice people working there. I’m probably going to start looking elsewhere though.

It’s your average Chinese take out. Good size portions, price good. The lady at the front counter was very nice and courteous with a nice big smile. The restaurant was clean too. Would eat at again.

This is my go to restaurant for fast food Chinese. They are super friendly and let you know that they appreciate your business. The dining room isn’t anything special to look at, however, it is clean and everything is in good repair. On this particular visit, I ordered Wonton soup, Pork Egg Rolls, Shrimp Lo Mein, Moo Shu Pork and General Tso’s Chicken. The Wonton soup could have more flavor, however, if one adds a little salt all is well. The rest of the meal was well-seasoned and the portions are great. I also often order the Shrimp Egg Foo Young, which is fantastic! I predict that the Taste of China and I will have a long-lasting relationship. Additionally, they do deliver up to a 3 mile radius from their restaurant.

I love this place. Some of their dishes aren’t the best, but most of them are. The only one I’ve had that I didn’t like was the chicken and broccoli. Their Phoenix and Dragon, on the other hand, is the best I’ve ever had in my life. Unfortunately I moved states and only get a chance to dine here once a year. I’ve tried finding a place near me with equally good Phoenix and Dragon, but am always very, very let down. The prices aren’t bad either. Usually they don’t take too long to make your food, but occasionally there will be a bit of a wait. I tend to do pick up, but I’ve never had a problem with their delivery. The dine in area is a little awkward so I wouldn’t suggest eating there.

Since moving here from Florida several years ago we have ordered take out from Taste of China and have never disappointed. The food is very fresh, flavorful, cooked properly, and the portion sizes are more than very generous. I have lived and travelled all over the world and still think the food is great and prices are very reasonable compared to other So-called Chinese Restaurants in this severely Etnically challended city. It is definitely worth trying.

Never eat here. They do not know how to cook. No peppers, no oils, no sizzle or flavor. you can do better almost anywhere

My parents love this place. For me, it’s standard and reliable Chinese take-out, but really only worth it if I’m in the area. They do a booming take-out business — obviously people like it.

Need a Chinese fix? Good choice. I used to come here a few years ago with my roomies, but I forgot about it until I moved back to the north side. Recently, Rob and I were looking at Chinese for dinner, and I remembered that this place. Even though it’s a take-out AND they deliver, we decided to eat there because the dining room looked so sad and empty due to that typical hole-in-the-wall-chinese-restaurant feel. It was cool though because we got our meals right when they were done, and it looked like we got more food. Awesome sauce! Crab rangoons are how I guage the rating of a Chinese restaurant. These. Are. LOADED. Awe yeah! He had orange chicken, I had lo mein, and we shared some egg fried rice. It all was awesome, fresh, and there was plenty of it. The little Chinese lady was super nice and quick, but I’m guessing that’s because we were the only people there.
