I like this restaurant before, but since my last visit about a month ago, I decided to not go back. The food amount was reduced and the price went up. The taste of Kongpao chicken we ordered was disappointing. I discovered Chinese Express on Carmel Drive recently. It is much better and cheaper.

Finally! Found a great Chinese restaurant. Food was excellent. Had shrimp with garlic sauce. The hot and sour soup was good but not great– probably won’t get it again but my husband did enjoy it. We ate in but primarily it is a takeout place. Definitely will return.

Decent food. Tables were dirty. Poor selection of beverages. It was better previously.

This review is in regards to their service. I walked in to get takeout and was never acknowledged. The lady answered the phone gave the people that were dining in their food but never once spoke and said I will be with you. I gladly walked out!!!

Truly designed for carry out, this little kitchen offers fresh food for a fair price. They are also fast and efficient, which makes them a go-to place for picking up a quick lunch: you can practically place your call on your way there!

Decent prices and good eggrolls. I hate bad or oily eggrolls! A little heavy on the sauce to be what I(who am Asian) consider authentic, but most Americans like it that way. Not bad and good service. Fast.

Could not even get a full order in without them hanging up on me. I canceled my order. Forget this place.

Small place but there was a lot of foot traffic Christmas Day. 4 of us ate in and we all gave it 2 thumbs up. The atmosphere was not where you would want to take a date but the price was fair, the workers polite and helpful and the store was clean. We will definitely stop in for carry out the next time we are in the area

Standard carryout place. They are very fast, cheap and the food is freshly prepared. I might stop in on a whim, but wouldn’t go out of my way. I tried the kung pao chicken lunch special, and I was impressed with the quantity of food that arrived for just under six bucks. This will easily make two meals. Taste was fine, but nothing special. Will ask for extra spicy next time.

After watching the characters on Big Bang Theory chow down on takeout(time to catch up on missed episodes), we were missing the spot by our old house and were in search for a new takeout place. We were not disappointed. We popped in on a Saturday evening. The menu was very similar to other places(e.g. Hong Kong near Southport) and included our favorites: Mei fun, General Tso, Chicken with Mixed Vegetables, Steamed Dumplings, and Crab Rangoon. We also ordered a pint of Hot and Sour soup(typically the test of a good restaurant). Everything was delicious… not too greasy, not too heavy on the sauce. I am very picky about my chicken(in fact, I typically don’t eat it at most Chinese places), but the chicken in the Chicken with Mixed Vegetables was very good. I also managed to nab a few pieces of General Tsao’s. It was nicely sweet. The hot and sour soup was very good — the right mix of hot with sour — and I liked their crunchy noodles. They were almost like thin strips and were not greasy. We will definitely make this part of the rotation!

Came to eat with my 18yo son. He had general tso and I had moo sho shrimp. We both admit this is some of the best Chinese(American) food we have had in a very long time and we eat Chinese often. First time here as we live in Cincinnati but if we are back this way I know where we will eat.

I used to eat here in 2010 two or three times a week and it was great. I moved jobs and now it’s not feasible to do that. I stopped by again today when I had an appt on the NW side of town. I was very pleased that it was the same delicious Chinese food I’d remembered. I had the house special Lo Mein, with nice pieces of shrimp, beef, chicken and pork. The sauce is flavorful and not oily. My daughter had a huge plastic tub of Beef and Broccoli. She raved and had plenty left over as well. The prices were far less than they are at my local strip mall Chinese place. I am going to have to breakdown and make the drive over here more often. So good.

What happens when you go somewhere without reading the Unilocal reviews? That, my friend, is how adventures happen. Rob and I just happened upon this small carry-out joint, all wide-eyed and starving one dusky evening. I admit my skepticism, especially when it comes to trying a restaurant I haven’t thoroughly researched online beforehand. It’s a basic setup, with the traditional menu and a few simple tables for your dining pleasure. I ordered the rice noodles(maifun) and Rob needed his orange chicken fix. We dined in so we could chat while we ate. Everything tasted so fresh and authentic, and the portions of our meals were HUGE for the price! Lots of yummy leftovers. We looked at each other with this mutual feeling of discovery. Without the help of Mr. Internet, we found a place we loved simply by going there! Rocking it out, old school, yo.

This is one of those strip mall Chinese food places. Same pictures above the counter. Same printed menu. If you have seen the others you know this one. The food was OK, but really nothing to write about. Frankly I will be going to Panda Express before I go here again.

This place is great. They cook everything on big woks when you order it. It has a fast food interior type of feel to it. I like going here before 3PM to get there lunch. I usually call in my order before I pick it up. It takes around 10 minutes for them to prepair it usually.

When I lived in Indy this was the place I used to go to a lot. The chicken and broccoli was still great when I recently came back after being away for five years. Good place to stop in if you are in town.

They deliver during the work day if you order $ 20 or more I believe. This is the best cook to order Chinese shop in Indy that I have been to. Over-sized portions and reasonable prices. Has been same family running this shop since I first tried it 8 years ago!

I’d give it five stars, but it doesn’t deliver. In ten minutes flat though, my husband and I can have all of our faves for under $ 25. Sweet and sour soup, crab rangoons, beef lomeine, sweet and sour chicken, broccoli chicken and general tso’s, two pints of white rice and one of fried. And, don’t forget the fortune cookies. YUM. Quick, fresh, great. And, they know us. :) If I come in, she is writing my order down as soon as she sees my car in pull in front of the strip mall. They are AWESOME. :) I am addicted and eat here probably once a week! Get it, take it home and enjoy it all evening…
