Steak n shake is greasy but delicious. They have a ton of burger combinations, crispy thin fries, and several milkshake combinations. The prices are cheap and the service is usually pretty fast. I highly recommend the Frisco Melt and banana milkshake.

The first time I went here, I was visiting Memphis. I had never heard of Steak n Shake and everyone I was with was really excited about its name because they even made a little shake dance… so we went…
It’s a full-​service fast food joint… you get what you expect and it’s pretty tasty. Diner food, nothing more, nothing less. For some reason, I always feel pretty lucky because we get ok service and each time we’ve gone, there has been a problem at a neighboring table with screwed up orders or waitress complaints. Last time we were there, our waitress came to our table way too many times to check on us. Kind of annoying. I was fine the first time you checked, thank you.
