The hotel was very nice and was very clean and comfortable. I was a late arrival around 2 am and was tired from the drive from Ga. I was able to go right to sleep and slept very good until a little before 7 am. It sounded like there was a herd of horses running back and forth up above me and when the doors were shut on my floor it was extremely loud. I was not able to go back to sleep so I got up and hit the road tired. Breakfast was good and offered many choices also. Everything else about the stay was perfect but I ended up aggravated and tired. TIP… Earplugs or upper floor for better sleep.

For the quality of the hotel, the price was great. Newly renovated bathroom and room with a comfy king bed. Not being from Indianapolis, we didn’t realize that the location would be less than ideal. Just out of the way enough to where it was inconvenient to walk downtown. It wasn’t the end of the world. We just called an Über which was like $ 6 to our destination at the corner of Mass Ave. Love this town and would love to go back but we would probably try to find a more convenient hotel. Otherwise, decent hotel if you don’t like walking everywhere.

More like 3.5 stars. We stayed for a wedding and the hotel was nice, new and clean. The location isn’t great — there is nothing nearby even though the hotel is six minutes from downtown Indy. There is a shuttle to downtown but it only runs six times a day and not at all in the middle of the day. We didn’t use the pool but it was small (indoors) and looked more like a bathtub than a pool. NOTE: The smoke detector flashes ALL night like a strobe light. We ended up having to disable it just to get some sleep. We immediately got a call from the front desk saying they were alerted that we removed the smoke detector, but they allowed us to keep it disabled. It’d be nearly impossible to sleep otherwise.

Nice comfy bed. Clean room. Cool TV. HD channels. However, this place is situated about two miles from downtown. Just far enough where it’d be a hassle to walk. There was pee in the toilet when we arrived. Walls are paper thin. Could hear the couple getting busy next door. Luckily it didn’t last long:) Finally, the breakfast was terrible. Everything was stale.

Pleasantly surprised! We got such a great deal at this hotel we weren’t sure what to expect. Upon arrival we were greeted with cupcakes and a warm welcome by staff. The lobby was well decorated, nice and clean. The rooms were awesome and very nice. They were so clean and the beds were really comfortable too. I don’t know what I liked best, being greeted with cupcakes or the free breakfast (favorite meal of the day). The breakfast included: biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, bagels, waffles, and pancakes! I will definitely stay again and recommend this place. Thanks for an enjoyable stay and tell the staff thanks for great service!

This Sleep Inn just opened over the 2014 4th of July weekend. It is just east of the Indy Speedway. The hotel is clean and new. The beds are great. The included hot breakfast is good. The bad: there is a white flashing light on the smoke alarm that flashes every few seconds … All night long!
