University Place At Iupui

This review is for the conference facilities only.
My company recently had our annual employee recognition event here, and it was great! We had well over 1,000 people, and the Scholars Hall fit all of us nicely. We were there for a luncheon, and I thought the facilities looked great. This place was clean and looked pretty new. The service was superb. A few of us asked our server for fountain drinks, and she went out of her way to get them for us even though they weren’t on the menu for the luncheon. Awesome!
Food was served buffet style, but it was a sandwich bar. Sort of weird to make 1,000 people wait in line while others assembled sandwiches. Probably not the facilities fault, but it seemed like an odd choice. It definitely made things go very slowly.
I would definitely consider hosting any big event here at the conference center. Easy parking, clean amenities and friendly staff.

this hotel was rated as a 5 star on travel sites, but we found out when we checked in that it is a 5 star MEETING FACILITY. the room was very basic and nothing star worthy. the parking was outrageous $ 14 per day! we didnt pay too much for resort fee, if anything. i would stay downtown for the slight additional cost
