Sixty Minute Cleaners

I used to go here on a regular basis, but after they shrunk a wool coat of mine a few years back, I said I would never go back. However, I decided to try to save a few bucks and took my husband’s dress shirts here to be laundered. They shrunk all seven of his dress shirts, and the owner was very rude and difficult to work with to get reimbursed for the shirts. After much back and forth, she offered my husband a reimbursement of 80% of the original purchase prices (even though he had receipts showing original purchase prices and recent purchase dates). She accused him of trying to take advantage of her, and she tried to say they have never shrunk anything before. The shirts were an XL slim fit, and she even tried to say to my husband that he’s not a slim fit. How unnecessary! She finally did reimburse him fully for the shirts, and she even called later to admit it was their fault after reading the care labels. Maybe they should have read them before carelessly laundering the shirts.

Super fast, super friendly, super good! (Oh, and reasonably priced.)

This place is your traditional, family-​run neighborhood cleaners. They live up to their name on getting your garments done within 60 minutes, I used them once in a pinch before a nice dinner with no clean jacket. Their prices are very competitive compared to some other places around Indy, but they are my go-​to in Meridian-​Kessler. Like many small business, it’s preferable to pay with cash.
