I purchased a new mattress set here, and everything went better than I expected. From the in-store purchasing experience to the contact leading up to the delivery to the delivery itself, I was more than impressed with my customer service experience at Sears. In store: Connie was helpful and you can tell she’s been at this a while. She knows her stuff on mattresses. They happened to be having a close out sale on the brand I was wanting, so I was happy and got an amazing deal on an otherwise expensive new bed. Delivery: The delivery guys were in constant communication with me about when they would deliver. They even called to confirm my address. They were in and out quickly and came at the time they were supposed to. The little things… they’re nice. Bottom line, I would highly recommend Sears if you are looking for any sort of new home furnishings or appliances. The free delivery feature($ 10 charge if looking for weekend delivery) is a nice touch.

Went in knowing very little about a lawn mower. Came out of it with a lawn mower and information about when lawn needs cut and different parts of the mower. It was a very busy Saturday and staff seemed a little short handed. A customer service associate came up when they saw me looking and answered my every question. Glad to have went to this location and get the service that I needed.

Folks, the Sears in Castleton is your last chance to have a full service Sears in Indy. The Sears at Lafayette Square was just as nice, and Sears had spent a lot on the renovation(a long time ago), but crime on the west side caused people to stay away. Now the west side really doesn’t have this kind of mall any more. Sears in Castleton has a fantastic appliance department, the only appliance I have had trouble with in the last 10 years was one I did NOT buy at Sears, because I didn’t want to wait for them to get it into the store. That was a mistake, the other big appliance store would not honor the manufacturer’s or the extended warranty. I know Sears would have resolved the issue. Sears Castleton also has a great electronics department and their Land’s End area is fairly well stocked, although I haven’t found as much in the men’s area as you can find on line. Wonder why that is(maybe women shop in stores more?) And don’t forget the tools department. I only buy Craftsman lawn equipment, their mowers have always started on the first pull, even after sitting all winter.
