So I’m minding my business ordering drink specials left and right while my homie is smashing the all you can eat wings. I had been clearly ordering off of the specials menu because I’m trying to turn up on a budget. Well, I get my check and see regular prices. I stop the waiter and ask him to fix it and he tells me that there are no drink specials because of the Pacers game, and he apologizes for not telling me earlier. Man, f*ck this place and screw the pacers. They both have me messed up. I clearly came on a Monday to escape paying full price. They even saw me ordering off the specials menu. Nope, not going back.

Mo-fo wing sauce is absolutely smashing. In the moid for a burger and it hit the spot. Enjoyed this place, was a bit loud but there was a hoosiers and pacers game on at the same time, so who knows. First visit while in town for business and wanted to keep trying new places. Would return.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I’ve had such variable experiences here that I can’t give it more than three stars. Portions are fairly big for most dishes. They have some good drinks, including fairly tasty milkshakes. I like their big patio with charming strings of lights and a giant fireplace. You’d think the individual TVs at the booths would be a plus, but they don’t work reliably, and obviously you can’t have the volume on. Mostly my problem with Scotty’s is that the service is so spotty, sometimes bizarre. I went with two female friends, and we sat at the bar next to a middle-aged man who was on his iPad working and occasionally watching a football game. For whatever reason, the bartender thought I was with him, despite never speaking to him and legitimately facing my friends next to me. I had to clarify when she was preparing our checks that no, I was not with this random man. So strange. Last time I was there, I got sprayed when an employee used a squirt bottle to clean the table next to me. Fortunately there was no food in front of me, and the spray only got on my arm. The hallway to the bathroom is ~dangerous~, as employees whip around the corner with food from the kitchen and have almost knocked my friends and me out multiple times.

For a large stand alone restaurant I actually really like my experience here. I had great customer service from a very sweet and friendly server. As per the bar. It’s huge and has plenty of tvs for your sports viewing pleasure. Sadly some of the tvs are on a slight delay so that’s annoying and great at the same time because is like having instant replay. The drink menu is limited if you’re not interested in beer. Although if you’re interested in beer the menu is quite deep. The food: I order some spinach dip for an app. It was okay. Nothing too fancy when it comes to spinach dips. I order the BBQ but on chicken tacos as my entrée. I was pleasantly surprised. The food came out way quicker than need be but it was very tasty. This was a fun downtown spot that I am more than willing to come back too. Hopefully you guys will have good food and great service like I did.

Scott Wise’s creation stands far above the typical bar food expectation. I’ve been a loyal Scotty’s guest across all Indy-area locations for nearly three years now, and never once have I been even slightly disappointed with food quality. The Shewman Special sounds adventurous with the addition of peanut butter, but the creamy taste balances out the bite of the jalapenos quite nicely. The Burger of the Month is always unique and definitely worth ordering; I’ve enjoyed everything from the Deep Fried Oreo Burger during State Fair season to the more tame Bruschetta Burger, which exceeded my expectations. Service is typically excellent, but as with any chain, the large turnover in staffing leads to the occasional less-than-friendly waiter or waitress. Such encounters have been few and far between. All things considered, Scotty’s is always my go-to restaurant to watch sporting events or even just to spend a few hours; there are plenty of sports bars in the Amateur Sports Capital of the World, but this one has captured my heart(and, more importantly, my stomach).

This is a popular local spot, great for sports fans, visitors, and anyone looking for a good meal. It’s a local chain based out of college towns that has moved into Indy. There are a lot of great food and drink options, some of my favorites being listed below. If you’re in town for Comic Con, they more often than not feature a special beer for the occasion. If you’re there on a slightly chilly night, be sure to check out the fire pit and surrounding area or dine outside on sunny days. Favorites include: southwestern bbq ranch salad, 7 tidals buffalo chicken dip, totchos, any of the burgers, many of the sandwiches, and lakehouse mac #1. It’s not hard to find something tasty here. Drinks: lucy’s cosmo or the electric strawberry lemonade(seasonally). Fun fact: they have TVs in the bathroom stalls, so you won’t miss a minute of the sports action.

Traveling all over, we find most eateries about the same. Sure, there is the occasional«BAD» restaurant, but rarely do we find an EXCELLENT restaurant. I moved to Muncie in 2015, & have checked out many local, & regional, eateries. With«Thr3e Wise Men» opening, recently, we decided to celebrate New Years Eve there. What a GREAT experience !!! Our wait person, LISETTE, introduced us to the extensive MENU, with quality ingredients, & made from scratch recipes. Lisette even brought a couple of samples of items that we were deciding between. The food was GREAT !!! In fact, on New Years Day we returned, to enjoy other items. The atmosphere is very enjoyable, with folks of all ages; families with children, older folks, and serious sports fan groups. Isn’t it great when owners care enough to «go the extra mile,» especially with food quality, and classy servers like we had.

I am a hoosier native and Scotty’s is a staple for burgers and beer. It may be compared to a more expensive version of applebees — but much better because it is local. I highly recommend the Chief Munsee burger. The sweet potato fries are a wonderful side. I’ve also had the mofo chicken wrap — which is amazing. Beware though, there is an extra $ 2.99 charge if you request for the chicken to be grilled instead of fried. I would not recommend Scotty’s for brunch on Sundays. I went yesterday and the mimosa’s were awful. I ordered a glass of champagne to make up for it and it took the server over 15 minutes to deliver. She clearly forgot — and said«I will have your Bellini’s right up!» I corrected her stating«No, I just ordered a glass of champagne.» She responded with«Bellini is the type of champagne we serve.» Now, I’m quite the champagne connoisseur and I am certain a Bellini is a drink. Plus, why are your servers arguing with a customer in the first place? I had to get up from the table and stop the bartender as soon as I saw she was, infact, pouring 2 Bellini’s. The manager who was male did not seem concerned whatsoever and offered a lackluster apology. She also argued with my girlfriend when she brought the mofo wrap that was in correct. When we let her know of the mistake — she responded with«Well when I repeated what you ordered, you didn’t correct me.» I know good customer service is hard to come by these days but c’mon. Perhaps more employee training and customer service training is in order. I will still return but refuse to have the same server that I did in the past.

We came here to watch the B1G championship game. Nice venue, bartenders worked hard, they have tator tots which is a big plus. When we got there the person who left the bar before us had ordered and paid for 3 shots of Patron but never drank them. Oddly I never even thought about the fact they could be drugged but the girls in our party did. Anyway 3 of us, including me, drank them because who would waste perfectly good Patron!!! I think it was worth the risk.

I really want to give this more than 3 stars, but our waitress was absolutely horrible. It took well over 20 minutes to get a pitcher of beer, my wife and Is food came our late, after almost everyone else in our party was done. Then they tried to charge us full price for it. If she would have communicated better and not been horrible overall, I’d have gladly paid for it and not inquired. The food and atmosphere is good. I always enjoy Scottys as they have a great menu for what I like to eat. They have a slew of beer and drinks to pick from. Just a bad experience on this particular night

An Indianapolis institution, Scottys is where you go for big burgers and even bigger beers. During the warm months it is awesome to sit outside on their huge patio. Inside each table has a TV — kind of cool. Only negative thing — the wait. Last time I tried to go I was told a 2 hour wait — yuck. The menu is full of great things!!! Try the buffalo chicken dip, so good. Now for the main course. Holy wow is there a lot to pick from — burgers, wings, chicken — oh my. I go for my favorite — the Shewman. A huge burger with cheese, bacon, jalapeño and … Wait for it… peanut butter! I remember the first time I ordered this burger. I had not read the menu, just saw the picture and thought it looked good. Took my first bite and bam! This flavor I wasn’t expecting slapped me in the face and I have been a fan ever since! The brioche bun was toasted perfectly. Don’t be a wuss, pick this bad boy up with both hands and eat it like you were just rescued at sea. A number of places try to copy the Shewman — shame on them! The beers — so darn many beers. Whatever you are in the mood for, they have it. Just ask the bartender for a suggested favorite and they will gladly pour a pint. Get in and enjoy a burger today!

Pub grub. Not a fancy foodies paradise, but good and filling pub grub with a good beer selection. Added bonus here is outside seating with games and fireplace, it is vegetarian friendly, and they have a few craft cocktails that are rather delish… I think I drank all of those by now. Highly recommend the peachy Martini, the raspberry Cosmo and the Caramel Apple Martini… yumm Goes well with the Chicken Penne Salad…

Scotty’s is a great place to take non-foodies because the menu is filled with sports bar basics like burgers, wraps, and pizza but you get to eat them in the heart of downtown Indy. A visit in nice weather is much better, because you can sit on the awesome patio which has a firepit, cornhole, and great people watching along the cultural trail. I’ve never been wowed by the service at Scotty’s; food sometimes takes a while and my fries are almost consistently cold when they arrive. One thing Scotty’s does really well: OPTIONS. The menu(a multi-page book) boasts eight different salads, over fourteen different wraps/sandwiches, pizza, tacos, and you can always build-your-own burger. Choosing your side is enough of a decision with sixteen or so options. How do you like your potatoes? They’ve got tots, chips, waffle fries, sweet potato fries, or traditional fries which can all be loaded or tossed in a number of different seasonings. Like I said… options! There are lo-calorie and gluten-free sections too… not my thing but we all have«that friend.» ;) With a full bar and lots of local brews on tap, Scotty’s seems to have something for everyone. P. S. If you’re trying to catch a game, they’ve got plenty of TVs too. Read: every table… and even every bathroom stall!

Scott’s is an Indiana chain that’s also a brewery + they are not homophobic and I appreciate how outspoken their owner was about RFRA. When one owns a sports bar, they can get away with not supporting gay rights so it’s awesome this guy spoke up. First off, the new menu item(piggy Mac and cheese sandwich) is awesome. It’s a grilled cheese sandwich with pulled pork and Mac and cheese. Yeah, bro, you heard me. They put Mac and cheese on a sandwich. What. So good. Also, the new menu item, the berry salad with strawberries, berries, pecans, feta, spinach, etc is quite good. Now, is it worth $ 9? Lol no. It’s not that filling and doesn’t cost that much to make. I would have liked more of the toppings, however, whatever if you roll with deep pockets, it’s tasty. Appetizer: buffalo chicken cheese dip. It’s alright. Not as good as I’d like and don’t try to share with more than two hungry for people. But it’s fun. Desert: get the cookie ice cream item! Melty half-baked chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream. Ahhhh it’s so good! The brownie version is okay, tasty even, but no match for this! Plus, they have lots of daily food and drink specials! I can’t wait to go on a Tuesday, for $ 2 tacos and $ 4 margaritas.

What can I say about Scotty’s that hasn’t already been said? This place renewed my love for real, authentic burgers. I’ve had a decent selection off their menu and I can’t go wrong. They have a large selection of meat and you can essentially build your own burger. I’ve been here before with veggie and gluten free friends and they are also satisfied with what they have! The location is also amazing, it’s in the center of downtown and it is very sports oriented, but I don’t mind. The 3 times I’ve been the waiters/waitress have been extremely nice and even gave me a free drink once! This is definitely a must try when you’re in Indy looking for a good burger meal.
