Motel 6

For the price point our expectation was pretty low. But our first night there we had someone rattling our doorknob intermittently and fairly loudly from about 3−5am, they never knocked or otherwise attempted to communicate with us and I ignored it. Eventually a motel employee came by with the master key and unlocked the door at about 5am, opened it to the «chain» bolt, shone a flashlight in my face then withdrew. Due to the thin walls I could clearly hear him radio to the front desk that the room was, in fact, occupied. Needless to say we did not get enough sleep.
Otherwise the room was what you’d expect for the price. It smelled like smoke, had a tiny shower, cheap sheets, burn holes in the blankets, the occasional bug, only two small thin towels, and was generally run down and not kept very clean.

Positive: lowest price, clean room, save much money
Negative: Far from downtown, small room, old conveniences, no bathtub, easy to get noise from nextdoor, music, tv sound over midnight, smoker talk loud outside…

One of the worst Motel 6s to stay at. Our room was never cleaned the 4 days we were there. Housekeeping kicked us out at 9a, vs. noon on Sunday they could «try» to clean. Not enough towels. And, the room key had to be re-​set even night. It was convenient to where we needed to be, but next time we will choose another hotel in the area.

Just a brief review. It’s nothing fancy. It was close to where we had to be all weekend. We stayed Friday, April 25^th and Saturday, April 26^th, 2014. No frills… just barely enough towels in the room for 2 people (though, I am sure we could have gotten more) and it was generally clean. The issue… the only issue. is the other guests. For some reason, there are lots of cars cruising the lot all day and night and oddly. very loud people in the morning.
My partner is an entertainer at nightclubs and we didn’t get back to our room until 3 in the morning one night and almost 5 am the next. The first night… we saw a security vehicle up front in the lot monitoring the building. Didn’t see him the next night.
Saturday at 7 AM, we had someone banging very loudly on our door yelling food… and as I got up to go to the door. I heard another voice say.“wrong room” and they moved to the room next to us and banged. The second night… there was an SUV driving around the lot when we came back to our room and they had all the windows open and were being very loud. Apparently. they ended up at a room near ours and were loud and banging on the doors.
Would I come back… hmmmm. The price was fine. but I have to admit the people driving around the building all the time was a bit of a concern. When you can see a car pull in. drive down one side and then just a couple minutes later, drive back out on the other side, it makes you wonder what they are doing. This went on constantly! Finally. my partner checked us in and it was very fast. and he said they were polite and nice.

This was THE worst Motel 6 stay I have ever had. The Manager, Allen, was rude, lies and is very condacending. First, the room was dirty and I had to ask for clean bedding due to black hair (I’m blonde) and stains, it looked like someone just rolled out of that bed.
I had my dogs with me, one being a service dog. My husband and I went to eat about 1pm the next day, I have a recipt showing us leaving the resteruant at 2pm, we went back to the room, he packed his sea bag, got the dogs and left at 240pm for the airport, my husband was heading to Afghanistan, after I dropped him off I took the dogs to the park to run in the snow (their huskies, so the loved it) I even took pics of them in it, posted to facebook and messaged the pics. When I returned to the hotel to let them know I would be staying a week, I was informed that I could no longer stay there and that the manager, Allen, called animal control for me abandoning my dogs there. I told the clerk the dogs were and have been with me. Anyhow, I left. I got ahold of Allen today finally and asked what the deal was, he said that he had went to the room every hour for 4 – 5 hours and my dogs were left loose and unattended, I told him that was a lie that I have all kinds of proof they have been with me, he said he wasn’t lieing… Ok, I have key use log, showing in and out time, pics I took and sent, video from the airport showing my dogs in my truck, all time and date stamped. After I talked to animal control and she saw this it was dropped. My pets are some of THE most spoiled and very well taken care of. I have never been so humilited or treated so badly! I will NEVER stay at this location again and will spread the word of this to every review place I can. I did call their corperate office and filed a report there also. Let’s not forget how strong the smell of weed was in the lobby when I was leaving there, not acceptable!
So please, take in my review and pick another place.
