Candlewood Suites Indianapolis East

Enjoyed our 3 days at this hotel! Rooms were clean and spacious. Awesome kitchen area with full size fridge, sink, dishwasher, small stove top, dinnerware and utensils. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. No breakfast offered, but not missed since we had a kitchen and enjoyed morning walks to Starbucks.

Giving 4 stars because to be fair I feel like the issues I had would have been resolved but to be honest the guy at the front desk made me extremely uncomfortable.
My father got us a room with his reward points but when I showed up there was only one bed, and it was a queen. They do accept cats which is awesome.
Our non smoking room Definitely smelled like smoke when I walked in. Also, the shower heads are horrible. Easier to feel clean if you shower in the sink. And when I went to use one of their towels I saw that there was pubic hair in it. That was extremely gross.
Honestly, it was alright. The lady at the front desk when I was checking out was SO nice and had such great customer service that it made my stay so much better even with the little issues.

We stopped here late last night very tired from a 8 hour drive from NC and on our way to Iowa. Excellent customer service from Zack at front desk. Very clean rooms! Ground floor is extended stay & we met some really nice people. Would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers!

Just spent a six night stay there:
Pros– 1.) The hotel was clean, maintained, and fairly new. 2.) Very (very) close to highway access. 3.) Decent little exercise room. 4.) Free Laundry facility. 5.) Free WIFI was borderline satisfactory
Cons — 1.) We kept having intermittent hot water issues. 2.) Not much of a neighborhood around the hotel. It’s in the middle of a run down commercial area. We found a few decent restaurants a short drive away. 3.) No daily maid service.

It’s a shame that I have to give a 1-​star review. Good: staff was very nice & the hotel was recently renovated. There is granite in the bathroom. Bad: the local crowd was a bit rough. Our room smelled very strongly if smoke — it was overpowering. We were offered Frebeze, but no discount & no other rooms were available.

The staff were so nice and accommodating. Large rooms, comfortable beds. The lower rating do to some cleanliness issues. Carpet really needs a good shampooing. Baby’s feet were black and socks got filthy. Also bathroom floor was not cleaned after last guests, and baseboards in bathroom were really dusty dirty. Cleaned up with a rag by me.

Great rooms and great service. Dogs are allowed in the rooms. Every room has a kitchen in it. The customer service was great and I felt room was very clean. The hotel looks pretty new. They had a wheelchair accessible room.

Love the customer service! So glad I have switched to the Priority Rewards. They really show appreciation to its members. The hotel is new and very clean.
