Moody Eyes

Dr. Amy Cardis is excellent! The staff is wonderful! I would highly recommend Moody Eyes to everyone.

This was my second time going to moody eyes and I couldn’t be more pleased! Dr Cardis is very nice and wants to make sure I have the best vision possible. I was in and out in under an hour. The staff was helpful when picking out frames which helped me out tremendously! Thank you and I’ll be back next year!

I have been to several eye doctors, and it seems like the docs at Moody are more thorough and accurate on their exams. Everyone at the office is friendly and welcoming too.

Dr. Moody has been our family eye doctor for years! Appointments are easy to make because they are open with convenient and flexible hours. The office is smartly decorated. Staff is super friendly and helpful!
I’m also always impressed that they seem to get in new machines/​technology on a fairly regular basis, which is awesome because it makes things more comfortable for patients (no more big poof of air on my eye machine to test for glaucoma!) and I’m sure newer machines help with the accuracy of measurements for optimal vision.
Dr. Moody himself is an excellent doctor, but he’s also a pretty fun, easy, laid back guy. He’s good about communicating what he needs you to do, and what he’s going to be doing also.
Staff was great in helping us pick out glasses/​contacts, and then getting our order put together. Contacts can be shipped to your home instead of having to go back to the office! They also have a great selection of glasses (though I WOULD like to see some more designer styles at the Southside office, but I’m assured there are more downtown).
On a final note, I will say… My husband has always had SUPER bad vision, and years ago suffered a detached retina (before we ever saw Dr. Moody). Because of this, his eye health is very important to us. We watch carefully to make sure that he’s not having further problems and that his vision is not getting worse. In fact, he has to the Indiana Eye Institute every few years to have full scans done… But for the in between times, I truly trust Dr. Moody and his knowledge and experience to monitor my husbands vision and eye health.

This is not your average eye doctor! They have a very wide selection, and reasonable prices. They take my insurance and the staff is friendly. I am really impressed that you can schedule an appointment online and they have you out the door in under an hour!
