What a fun evening! Thank you so much Lino’s and Upland Brewing for a great evening on Main Street. Folks were consuming Uplands craft beers and beverages of all types, meeting other craft beer aficionadas, dining on Lino’s panni’s, pizzas, gelato and chocolate croissants while many were enjoying the beautiful fall evening competing in outdoor games. For several, this was the first time sampling Upland’s craft beers and/or dining at Lino’s. Coffee and pastries seem to be well known but several had no idea a coffee shop served beer and wine much less lunch and dinner. Rave reviews and positive comments were heard on the local atmosphere, the great job of Upland Rep J.D. mingling with the crowd, outdoor activities, and promoting«Drink Local» on Main Street. Upland Brewery and Lino’s staff shined tonight. This evening had a warm community feeling of friendship while chatting with friends, neighbors, Speedway shop owners, and many developing new friendships tonight. We had the opportunity to meet several of our new Speedway neighbors from Italy who are employed at Dallara when they stopped by for a couple Upland brews. These gentlemen were warm and gracious with great pride in their work and true passion for racing, IMS, and Speedway. By evening’s end I felt such pride sharing how much I enjoy living here and how really cool Speedway is. Lino’s and Dallara is not only a beautiful facility but a reminder of how internationally known the Indianapolis 500 and Indianapolis Motor Speedway is to the world. Even non-race fans around the world recognize the IMS/Indy 500 name and IMS has brought notoriety to Indianapolis for decades; and to think we have it right here in our own backyard. Again, thank you Lino’s, Dallara and Upland Brewing for showcasing more of what Speedway offers to the community with your businesses.
