Don’t come here if you want frozen entrees. They don’t have any for the near future due to a remodel.

First, I love the fact that it is a 24 hours Kroger store. They are very clean and for the most part very well stocked. I do prefer Kroger over the others store because all the stores are set up somewhat the same and it is easy to navigate through them. I must say the their seafood and fresh meat department us not the best. Very limited selcetion. If they had more of a fresh meat selection I would buy from them.

Well, I did what I usually try to avoid doing, and that was write a review after one visit because I thought I had something that needed to be shared. That thing was my concern about being stopped by 3 different people asking for money in the parking lot on the same visit. Since that trip about 5 months ago, I have been back a half dozen or so times and have not had any issue at all, although that was all during the winter months, so we’ll see when the weather gets nice. I’m not going to guess at that though, so I’m increasing my rating and taking back my concern. I’ll once again say that this store itself is great. They have everything you could be looking for at a supermarket. It is very spacious and has a very intuitive layout that is easy to navigate. It seems like a larger store than any that I’ve been to in Indy, and never seems crowded. However, the parking lot can turn into a mess if you decide to go after work or during one of the busier hours. I think that they don’t have enough parking spots, and getting into and out of it can be difficult with the traffic around the area, so it always seems congested. This is one of the stores that has a gas station, and I assume that putting that in is what choked down a lot of their parking lot. That’s my only complaint though.

Remember that old commercial«Let’s Go Krogering!»? This Kroger store certainly brings it to mind. It’s in a great location just of off I-465 on the north west side of Indy. The store is clean, brightly lit, and stays well stocked. Friendly and helpful associates make this a worthwhile trip. By your second visit, you’ll feel right at home!

«Let’s go Krogering»! I never had a favorite grocery store until now. Kroger carries Udi brand gluten free bread. Kroger has a great gluten free section as well as little«gluten free» tags on various items throughout the store. The fresh produce section is hit or miss on quality, but they carry a great selection of bolthouse drinks and they seem to have a nice selection of meat. I get green bean delivery for most of my produce anyway, so kroger meets the rest of my needs.

I’m usually here five days a week on my lunch breaks. I have to give it to them for having a wide selection vegetarian products but theres really nothing in that hippie like refrigerated section that I can grab and go and eat individual serving size. I’m kind of hoping some day they bust out an individual tofu cutlet serving or something. On the plus side they carry Chobani Greek Yogurt, a decent selection and cheaper than the competing grocers. They have a vast produce section and sometimes the deals are pretty sweet. Sometimes what you think is a sweet deal is a price that was left up for like a month after the sale is gone and no matter how many times you tell the cashier or self check out attendant that the raspberries are marked a dollar cheaper and someone should take the sign down they just tell you to go to the customer service to get the price knocked off the bill. I never did go to the customer service cuz who has the kind of time to wait for that dollar on their lunch break and I knew damn well the sale was probably over a month ago and I was only informing them so someone would change the price on the display but of course, the message never got passed on and those raspberries taunted me with lies all month. I love that they always have a ton of avocados but loathe that often times they leave the spoiled ones on display for WEEKS. There was literally a two week period where the avocado selection was soggy and or completely hollowed and even hosted an impressive aerial fruit fly show for roughly four days. I could not believe the managers and produce workers could let this go on for so long. One could argue maybe they don’t know what an over ripe avocado looked like but wow, I feel sorry for anyone that took one of those home that also didn’t know what over ripened ones were like as they’d certainly never eat an avocado again. It was so bad that I contemplated dragging a waste basket or shopping cart over to the grocery section myself, loading up all the nast and leaving it there to set an example of what to do with spoiled goods but I figured thats probably not legal and didn’t really want to pay for a hundred rotten avocados in either cash or jail time. Thankfully the selection has been turned over and as of two weeks ago I’ve been able to get fresh delicious avocados again. I’ve also had some poor customer service from one hot food/deli area clerks on three occasions, its so bad I won’t even go near the counter on the days she’s working even if I desperately want whats there. Its a darn shame too as all of the other workers in that position are fantastic at their position. I made my first and only ever verbal complaint to a manager about this person, I called… I’m not proud of this fact but they are awful. Poor customer service is a detriment to any business. I love your selection of Honest Tea too. I’m very pleased with your selection in general. I think what I’m really trying to say is I spend way too much time and money in this store. Perhaps I need to get out more but your selection allows me to pick and choose the healthiest tasty treats for my lunch meals without having to worry about refrigeration at work. You’ve got convenience and selection in your favor. You should someday blow me away and have a full on salad bar but for now I suppose those little salads near the hot food and deli counter will have to do.
