I’ve eaten at this establishment for over 5 years. I’ve never been let down, the food is ALWAYS fresh, hot and excellent. If you want ambiance, go elsewhere. If you’re worried about the price, do your research. Dollar for dollar, this particular Jordan’s is the best in Indy. I’ll give a 5 gladly and without reservation. Those of you whiners, go elsewhere and complain. I break it down like this: Freshness — 5.0 Taste. — 5.0 Staff. — 5.0 Value. — 5.0 Total Score is therefore a 5.0. Like I stated earlier, the place is excellent and consistent. That’s why I’ve been coming back since 2010. Peace…

I got the catfish and my fiancée got wings. It’s really good. Kinda hurts the tummy though. They were really nice and the food was fresh though. Really good just don’t eat when you have something to do the next day lol.

The chicken tenders are very good. They are big pieces, not like tenders you’d get at KFC or Popeye’s. 4 pieces with fries is a filling meal. The first time we got them there was a seasoning on them that was too salty, but just requested it without the next time. Hush puppies are also good. The major downside is it takes at least 15 minutes. It isn’t fast food, but it isn’t a sit down restaurant either. We’ll try to call ahead in the future for take-out.

This place has false advertising. Their personal website online says a 40pc is $ 29.99. When I picked up my order, they charged me $ 32.99. When I brought it up to then they just said the website is wrong. Is it really wrong sir or are you ripping off your customers? VIOLATION! I will be contacting Better business.

Atmosphere is weird(oh no.. . here I go with my whole«It was too plain!» thing again) and somewhat dingy(which I can’t say was entirely unexpected given the area and type of food and strip mall storefront location) and the dining tables and chairs appeared to be dated cast-offs of some sort, though kudos to them for at least HAVING a dining area despite that most customers we saw during the dinner hours placed carryout orders. The gyros and fries were decent and the price was reasonable. We will likely return, but will probably do a carry-out order next time.

In the interest of expanding my lunch horizons and getting out of the 96th to 116th street corridor, I drove down Shadeland with every intention of hitting Caplinger’s. BUT… completely forgot about the lunch crowd there and headed back north. Saw Jordan’s to the left and thought what the hell. Overall not bad… spartan décor, nice staff, pretty clean, and a large(and somewhat confusing) menu. Plenty of fried options available, so if you are looking for healthy this probably isn’t your place. I ordered a spicy gyro lunch(with fries and drink, $ 9) served in Styrofoam tray about 5 minutes later. Gyro was tasty enough and ridiculously oversized even for a big eater as myself. Cucumber sauce was good, onions were caramelized, and the tomatoes were hothouse. Fries were hot and fresh. The gyro taste reminded me of Sam’s Gyros on 96th — not sure how the meat is prepared(if at all) or if it is the same manufacturer they purchase from in Cryovac(probably that). Thankfully no meetings at work this afternoon as my spicy Gyro breath could stop traffic. Bless you Colgate.

The Italian Beef here is incredible! It is now my go-to place in my neighborhood. I was skeptical about getting Italian Beef from what is essentially a fried food outlet. I asked the guys that worked there if it was any good and they told me if I didn’t like it they would credit me the cost. Good enough for me! I like a place that stands by their product. I’m so glad I tried it. The portion is huge, just like their gyros are. The meat was seasoned so well and the sandwich was dipped as it should be. I find myself craving it once a week now. Buy the Italian Beef here!!! You won’t regret it.

Went to Jordan’s, I always get the same thing, the 5 piece wing special which comes with fries and two slices of bread. The wings are regular whole wings. Not like the wing parts that you get at other wing places. They sprinkle the wings with this lemon pepper seasoning which is to die for. The meal I got would have been enough to split between two people. I had enough left over to take home. I also got the fried mushrooms which were really good. I took those home for later. I warned them in the oven and they were just as good as when they came out the fryer. The bread that they give you isn’t the best, it’s kind of hard but I think that’s because they put it on the bottom underneath the chicken and fries. The décor is not the best and not a lot of people actually eat there. We tried to eat inside but it was so cold we decided to just eat in the car. I will definitely go back. They do have other items on the menu that are worth trying such as shrimp and fish. If you are looking for good chicken other than those other chains this is the place to go. Not a fine dining establishment but a good place to go pick up and go place. The guys taking the orders were friendly and actually bring your food out to you when done.

In the same location as the previous Z Gyro. Remodeled. New owners, new phone, new menu. Food is identical to the other Jordan’s Fish and Chicken in town, but this location has dine in.
