I.D.entity Hair Design

I get my hair done a LOT. Like all over the place. I try to stay loyal, but I know a lot of stylists and they are all good at something and sometimes, I really need something «last minute» so I love to be able to contact one of them and get in same day for a blow out or cut. Laura hooked me up last week two hours before an event with a fabulous blow out! I literally didn’t have to worry about my hair for THREE days. Yes, each day it wasn’t AS curly or poofy but it was incredible. But most importantly, I love this location — it’s stunning inside and Laura is awesome — friendly, easy going and happy to fit me in when she can. It’s all about service, y’know? And passion for the business. I love being pampered and spending my money on things I don’t «need». I felt special and beautiful when I left and it was affordable! Thanks for rocking it out!

I did not care for it. Went a couple times and my hair was consistently not what I wanted.

Not a good experience at all. Walked out with one side of my hair 2″ shorter than the other and uneven color. The freaking worst.

Laura Ring is my stylist and she wasn’t intimidated by my thick hair. She worked with me and taught me how to best use the styling products and control my hair. I couldn’t recommend her or the salon enough! They hold many educational events and I was even able to see a free demonstration from the founder of the products they sell. All of the stylists make sure you know how to do your hair at home so you have continuous good hair days, not just when you leave the salon. If you’re looking for friendly, experienced stylists, this is your place!

Went for my second appointment at I.d.entity hair design and am still amazed by this place. This was my first color with highlights and lowlights and I had Kristan. I’ve been hesitant to do color only because I never had someone here in Indy that I trusted enough to do it. Kristan really made me feel relaxed before we even started and had a conversation with me about what I was looking for and we even picked out colors together. One of the best parts about I.d.entity is that they want you to be comfortable and they really take the time to make sure you’re taken care of throughout your entire time there. My color turned out perfect, better than I imagined it could look and I really trusted Kristan! I can honestly say I’ve found MY salon. They do a wonderful job!

Finally, a place where a stylist has the balls to give me her best recommendation and honesty. She recommended some different color for my low lights and they look amazing. The blond looks perfect. She gave me a fantastic haircut and cut some great bangs. The past few stylists I had were too chicken to try to cut a side swept bang for me just because they were scared. She (Katie Cassaro) taught me how to better control my cowlick and educated me on what products she put on my hair and why. I really liked that. Also, they have a nice relaxing processing lounge. I think my hair turned out better since the color processed naturally instead of being stuck underneathe a dryer or heat lamp. It did take a lot of time, about two and a half hours, but I was ok with that. I prefer that stylists do a perfect job instead of rushing. Katie really took the time to get to know me and give me exactly what I wanted. Great prices too on the cut, color, and products.

I like the creativity and care I receive here. I go to Aaron for razor haircuts. Kristin has also given me tiny carmel-​colored highlites throughout the top part of my style. They are all so nice and thoughtful. I leave looking my best and feeling great. Sometimes when I have scheduled only a haircut, I change my mind and ask if I can get some partial highlights. Aaron will accommodate me as much as he can, even if it means someone else has to blow-​dry me. It is relaxing to go there and see the art work while I sip my lemonade!

I knew I loved this place on my first visit. Very professional and yet relaxing environment. My stylists Willie is amazing and I highly recommend him. Complimentary beer and wine add to the experience.

Stay far, far from this place. Apparently they think «redhead, long bangs» means «purplish streaks, choppy bangs that start at the back of the head.» Sorely disappointed. The color will fade but the cut will take months to grow to even halfway decent.
