This hot box pizza has the best place for a after bar skipping snack lol. The bread sticks are very salty but I still ate them. The workers were friendly and fun. Go have a snack :)

Picked up after a basketball game. Service was nice and quick and the pizza was great.

The downtown location is one of the only pizza places open super late. Being located on Georgia Street they are in the middle of all the bars. So it’s open until like 4am during the week. After watching a movie we decided that we wanted pizza. Since the movie got done around 9pm there wasn’t much open so we headed downtown to get some pizza. This locate is incredibly small… but I assume that is because most people get their pizza to go. The music is loud which makes it difficult to be able to carry a conversion with another person. The staff was friendly and upbeat for 9:30pm at night. The pizza and bread sticks came out with a good amount of time. Everything was hot and tasted delicious. Really the only thing that I didn’t care for with this location was the volume of the music. Which makes me probably sound all old and what not.

We’ve always enjoyed the pizzas we get from this location. A few times we ordered deliver and they forgot to bring something(sauce, breadsticks, correct drink, etc.), but they are always nice when we called and offered to send someone to correct the order. Good pizza!

I seem to have a love-hate relationship with this Hotbox Pizza store. Today I tried to order the pizza of the week, skinny crust, minus ham(I hate it, but what if I was allergic to it instead), plus a dessert and two bottled waters. I was considering ordering two desserts so I could share with my co-workers. I was told they could not do any modifications on the pizza of the week and if I wanted it without ham I would have to pay full price. So I canceled the order. Someone else will get my $$ today!

They’ve gotten my order wrong the past three times. Will not be spending my money there any longer!

Mediocre in every sense of the word. Tasteless cheese and crust, skimpy on the sauce, and cuts corners on the toppings. Probably won’t order again.

Super fast and great for late night eats. However, pizza is just okay.

RUDEST service ever, pizza industry or not, they clearly do not care about their customers. Obviously, they haven’t impressed customer service among their employees. HORRIBLE. Too many options in downtown to settle for AWFUL!

We took the kids to Indy for the museum and zoo. The hotel key had an ad for Hot Box Pizza and«The Deal» on it. We had never heard of it and decided to get some delivered to our room. The delivery was fast(20 min) and the food was outstanding. It made me really wish we had a Hot Box in Illinois where we are from. This will definitely be a go to place for my family any time we are in Indiana.

For pizza, Hot Box was surprisingly not bad at all! I can only talk about the single slice of pepperoni pizza I had one afternoon, but it was arguably closer to thin crust NY-style pizza than most of the pizza around where I live in upstate New York! The dough was thick enough that the sauce and cheese didn’t seep through for it to have a soggy bottom, but it was also thin enough that it was still able to get a little bit of crispness(albeit little to no char) from the oven it was baked in. Pretty much an ideal situation for any pizza. Too often it’ll be too black, or worse yet, the ingredients on top will be so top heavy that the crust becomes undercooked or too soggy, and this simply wasn’t the case. Mega props to them for that! As for the pepperoni? It’s pepperoni. Nothing special at all, very typical, but not as greasy as I’ve seen it elsewhere. As for the sauce and cheese? Total perfection. There was ample oregano scattered throughout both and there were no massive globs of cheese or sauce anywhere to be found. The ratios were just done perfectly. With every bite you got the right amount of crust to sauce to cheese, and what made it extra great was that the cheese was still gooey and had that stretch everyone always loves to see. So without a doubt, I’m happy to give two thumbs up for Indy’s version of pizza! It’s a darn close attempt to reach the heights of some of the best pizza in the US and I would happily have it again if I were to come to town again.

We live less than 2 miles away and every time we order delivery they quote us an hour or longer but always deliver in less than an hour! The food is always delicious, especially after a night out. It hits the spot like no other delivery around! My only issue is that the online ordering is a pain and hardly ever works correctly for me. I wish there was a simple app to order from.

I normally don’t like pizza very much, but my friends wanted to go to hotbox, so I tagged along. The pizza sauce was a little spicy, and the cheese seemed very fresh. My breadsticks were the perfect combination of soft and chewy. There was not very much seating inside, and there was not very much room. It was also kind of annoying trying to find parking. Overall, it was a good pizza experience, and I even got to take home my cute cup.

I ordered from Hot Box because I had Groupons. It’s okay, not bad but not great either. The toppings are on top of the cheese which is okay if you don’t like all the yummy toppings melding together under a blanket of cheese. They have good breadsticks and cheese sauce though.

I’m happy with the pizza I order from here. The service has been good and getting bread sticks with an order is always a bonus. I’ve tried their pepperoni and sausage(love the classics!) but my go to is the porky the pie. All meat all the time. Parking can be difficult at this location if you are picking up. I recommend having someone along to either drive the car or go in and pick up the pizza while you drive around the block. Or if you are lucky enough, sit in the middle of Georgia street and wait for your friend to come out. That is if the police don’t chase you away first. Anyway, it’s affordable and good. Two things that I always look for in a restaurant.

I have to admit that I don’t think I’ve ever had Hot Box earlier than midnight when I haven’t had at least a couple drinks in me, so take this review for what you will. However, in that state, the pizza is awesome. Talk to me at a normal hour and maybe I would tell you otherwise. Lately, I’ve just chosen to get a bag of breadsticks with ranch and call it a day. The breadsticks are flavorful enough without being too garlicly or greasy and definitely hit the spot for a late night food craving after being out at the downtown bars. Like others have said, I would not go here if I had my choice of other pizza options, but since they cater to the late night crowd, I willl oblige them and keep coming in to spend my $ 5 on a sack of stix. A $ 5, which, to me, is worth it, since they have the breadsticks ready, I can just come in and grab my order and head home.

THESTIX! I’m a fan of hot box pizza, it’s nothing special but certainly better than a pizza hut or dominos, which is about the same price point. However, their breadsticks and nacho cheese sauce are out of this world! The cheese is spicy and the stix are perfectly seasoned. And that’s why I keep coming back… STIX!!!

I’m sorry to say this because I normally love Hot Box Pizza, but I’ve been disappointed one too many times while dining in at this location. My mother and I called ahead to order, paid, and waited for 30 minutes at a table only to find out that our pizza was sitting forgotten on a shelf, already quite cold. *We also unfortunately saw an employee touch money and then food ingredients without washing their hands.* Not voluntarily going back if I can help it.

All visits to this Hot Box(actually, all visits to Hot Box in general) have been made after 1 a.m. Why, you ask? Because any time prior to 1 a.m. I’d fancy meself a pizza from somewhere else. I’m not saying Hot Box is bad — it’s just that this rabbit prefers all sorts of green fixins on her pizza. The closest I could get at HotBox was the broccoli, tomato, garlic pizza. Eden’s Pizza, I believe. Either way, at 1 a.m. it all tastes«A-OK.» I should refer you to my friend and fellow Unilocaler, Joanna B, for her thoughts on HotBox. She’s not only a pizza expert but a HotBox regular — her brightly colored cup collection says it’s so.
