I think I might start calling this location«Hardly’s,» because you hardly ever seem to get good service there. I’ve been there three times. The first time was fairly late in the evening, after the dining room had closed. There was a woman standing in the south entrance with a suitcase, and when I asked if the place was closed she got really hostile toward me. She didn’t really seem like the was all there. I don’t know what her problem was, but when I went to the drive-through and spoke to the people there, they acted like this was perfectly normal. Yeah, whatever. I had a pretty hard time getting the drive-through to take my order while on my bicycle, but oh well, whatever. The next time I came, it was a Saturday morning. I was one of only two people dining in the entire location, and the one who had ordered first, but it still took ten minutes for them to make a simple breakfast burrito, and even then they gave it to me without salsa and I had to ask them for it.(Their coffee was lousy, too.) The other guy who was in there chuckled knowingly and confided that the weekend crew was an entirely different bunch than the weekday staff, though based on my further experience I’m not sure I could tell the difference. The third time I was there, the woman who took my order(for two burgers to go) then came back two minutes later and tried to give me someone else’s order(a burger meal for there), then they had a hard time figuring out where the burger was supposed to go when I told them it wasn’t mine.(It was for some guy sitting at a table in another part of the restaurant.) If it weren’t that this is one of few fast food places within reasonable biking distance, I probably wouldn’t bother with it. As it is, I still don’t expect to bother with it very much.

I only really order one thing here, and for that one item alone I give these three stars: the Chicken Fingers. They make them fresh and bread them fresh. They’re hot and tender, juicy and delicious. Instead of some emulsified weird buffalo sauce like some places, they give you straight up Franks Red Hot buffalo sauce. I feel like they hate making these things because it takes a long time and I’m pretty sure I detect a little frustration when I order them late night. I understand, I don’t want to bread chicken at 1am either. For fast food chicken tenders, I’m placing this in the Chick-Fil-A range on quality, but without the tell-tale homophobic aftertaste. I’ve never eaten anything else on the menu, it might all suck.
