What a wonderful sandwich — totally worth the wait.
I stopped in and ordered the blackened chicken sandwich special. It comes with fries and a 20 oz. drink.
There is a wait for your food order, but that is because it is cooked to order. Boy oh boy what a tasty sandwich. It arrived on a choice bun that is lightly toasted, very fresh romain lettuce leaf and a slice of fresh red tomato. The chicken is fresh non-​factory processed meat. The blackening is delicious with an added touch of toasted fennel seeds — what a surprise and wonderful flavorful touch.
The folks running the café are very nice and helpful. The price for your meal is fair for what you get.
