Best Pizza I’ve ever had! You will wait 45 minutes for it, but they tell you that up front. It took me 44 years to eat the best, this is it. Wish I could give them 10 stars!

I was told that this pizza restaurant was one of the best in Indianapolis. After ordering, this is absolutely the worst pizza that I have ever tasted in my life. There were very few toppings on the pizza, and everything was half done. The side of jalapeños was also awful. I’ve never been so disappointed with a food order. I would not eat this pizza again if they paid me!

This place has been around for a while and with good reason. The staff is wonderful — friendly, efficient and welcoming. The pizza is delicious — generous slices with a crisp crust and just the right amount of cheese. We have not tried the pasta dishes here although they did look appetizing. A wonderful downtown staple!

OK food. We stayed at the hotel across the street and wanted to grab something quick and filling. I got the lasagna special and it was pretty good. The garlic bread was a little hard and the marinara was very salty. My friend got the pizza, which looked must tastier. The guys were nice, but I don’t think I’d go out of my way to eat here again.

So the price is a little extreme for a slice, roll and can of Pepsi. Although this type of setup for a pizza place makes me a little nostalgic. I remember being a kid get sbarros at the local mall in NJ. Nevertheless. I rate pizza on okay, good and excellent. This place is good pizza. But not good enough for $ 12 for a less than filling lunch. What I will say that I like about this place is the pizza by the slice is great but the pizza itself is what I like. I like the pizzas with the doughy crust. All in all the place is good and worth the visit but I think next time it’ll be more economic if I bought a pie and brought it home. Oh the spinach roll. Simple and okay. Not the best I ever had but certainly not near the worst. Is good generic pizza among other dishes. Give it a shot but be sure to visit the the bank and get some cash. Pocket change won’t cover your lunch.

Tasty spinach roll, and the people are friendly. New York style pizza, which isn’t my favorite(hence the spinach roll), but everyone who ate the pizza liked it. Would eat there again.

This is the only decent New York Style pizza place that I have come across in this city(state?). I’ve surely had better pizza back east, but everything is relative, and without Giorgio’s I don’t know what I would have done these last couple years in Indy.

Pizza was really greasy. Breadsticks were stale and the marinara dipping sauce seemed really oily. The people were nice, so I gave a 2nd star.

Was in Indianapolis(from Davenport Iowa) for NCYC. went to Georgio’s with 80 teenagers and our fearless leader Luca! Pizza was awesome, service was excellent but the warm welcome and hospitality shown by Georgio and his staff was outstanding! We shall return for NCYC2017!

Best pizza, lasagna, service, and prices. The owner and staff were very friendly and personable. The food was fresh and made with high quality ingredients. We will continue to visit this restaurant anytime we come to Indy.

Really cool staff. Ziti was just ok not a whole lot of flavor you expect from a Italian dish. definitely had better pizza by far. Being from nyc I’m a little critical on pizza but at 3.05 for plain there is NOTHING about the taste that warrants that price. Not saying I will never eat here again… just don’t see me ever saying I really want some Giorgios

I should’ve written a review for this restaurant a long time ago! What’s not to love about this place?! The owner, Giorgio, is a cool Siciliano Italian. The food is very tasty, filling and affordable. I eat here often when I’m downtown. And when the weather is nice, you can sit out front and eat right off the East end of the lovely Monument Circle. So Giorgio, if you’re reading this, grazie!

It’s a rainy day and I wanted pizza for lunch but didn’t want to go out in the rain. These guys deliver during the week before dinner hours. Score! Being from NY I don’t love the pizza in the Midwest, just not a fan. I love NY pizza or Neapolitan style. Love the crispy but chewy crust. This place is NY style pizza and I like it. Ever have one of those craving when you know exactly what you want? Well that is what today was, I wanted good NY style pizza and I got it. Only 4 stars because I felt it was pricey but I find pizza in the Midwest typically is. I got the Georgio’s Special XL size(because it’s just $ 2 more than a large and I freeze left over pizza and reheat in the oven). This is my new go to for standard pizza.

I love Giorgio’s as much for the food as for Giorgio himself. He always has a friendly greeting for us and sometimes even a song! The baked ziti is one of my favorites as well as the margarita pizza, but my absolute favorite is the tortellini soup that Giorgio only makes on the occasional cold day. The stuffed crust pizza is awesome as well… I can’t even finish a whole slice. The service offered at Giorgio’s is far greater than what one might expect from a little pizza joint. Never a bad day at Giorgio’s!

Always a pleaser. This is why this place has stayed in business for so long on the circle. At lunch times the line to get this deliciousness ca wrap down the block. The foods all decently priced too, I got two big slices and a drink for under $ 10!!! Will definitely keep coming back again and again.

We came in for a quick lunch, with a friend who was staying with us for the week. I ordered the eggplant pizza, and my boyfriend got the super meat pizza with like pepperoni and sausage. The staff are sort of… brusque? I guess? It felt a little like a pizza place at a mall, and not a restaurant. The crusts were sort of burned, yet not completely crispy? It was odd. I actually didnt mind my eggplant pizza, but it was unevenly warm. My boyfriends pizza was very chewy and super greasy. they also literally tossed it into the bag so by the time we got to the car it was all smooshed to the bottom of the bag, and the toppings slipped off. I feel like this place would have better reviews if they had better staff. I think the pizza is pretty good, maybe they could undercook it a little when they put it out on the counter, so it does not burn in the oven when they reheat it? I would go again to give it another chance, since everyone has an off day, but judging from other reviews this is not uncommon?

The situ: We did not actually order pizza from here. We ordered other items off the menu. My boyfriend & I were feeling lazy during our winter vaca together, and decided to opt for a delivered lunch. We saw Giorgio’s on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. The menu: A huge variety for delivery! Which is what really attracted us. More than just pizza! Our food: Eh, not so awesome. I ordered a spinach pizza roll *I’m a vegetarian* and my boyfriend ordered beef lasagna. My roll… well it sucked. I appreciate that they give you free pasta sauce to dip it in, but even with that, it still didn’t taste good. :-(And for him, the lasagna was okay but«too small.» We also both ordered a house salad, his with cheese, mine without. — It was just iceberg lettuce basically. So again, nothing spectacular. HOWEVER, on the plus side — the plain bread stick I ordered was good. So theres that. The price: Pretty good! Our order was $ 20 for two entrees, two salads, a breadstick, and a 2-liter with delivery. The delivery: Very fast and pretty nice guys! The scoop: We would probably try it again — but I will never order the spinach roll again and get the feeling if/and when we try it again — it’ll be pizza.(Oh and that delicious breadstick again.) Food: 2⁄5 Service: 5⁄5 Price: 4⁄5

Delicious pizza and pasta, good breadsticks, decent salad that is a cheese lovers dream with a TODIEFOR creamy Italian dressing… Yep, Giorgio’s always delivers. It’s been the same staff for years — always friendly and fast service at the counter. Great place for a lunch stop or to grab an early dinner. Been coming here for years and don’t plan to stop anytime soon. Thanks Giorgio’s!

My girls and I have been coming to Giorgio’s on the day after Thanksgiving for ten years. What started as a teenage birthday party/trip to see Monument Circle lit up has turned into a tradition carried on through our 20s. Giorgio’s has been a part of it for literally every year. I feel like I’ve been there with them through it all – the same guys are still working there, and we witnessed their much needed renovation that spiffied the place up a few years ago. Probably the most amazing thing about Giorgio’s is that every year, even if it’s 7pm on Monument Circle with literally thousands of people outside the door, we can ALWAYS find a table to fit 8 people. It’s not because they’re not busy, because they’re always packed. It’s just part of the magic. I feel like someone could make a coming-of-age movie for tweens based on my friend group, and it would feature Giorgio’s prominently. We usually get a few giant pizzas and several orders of breadsticks. The greasy New York style slices are just what the doctor ordered, even if you need to do some occasional napkin blotting. It’s probably not the best pizza I’ve ever had, but it’s definitely above average. I’m also partial to the pepperoni stuffed breadsticks. They have calzones and lots of other interesting Italian fare that I’ve never tried. When it’s crazy busy, it always seems a little hectic when we put in our orders, but they have never made a mistake. The service is always pretty speedy, too. Pro-tip from 10 years of experience: Ask for your soft drink with only a little ice, as they charge for refills.

So I finally got around to trying Giorgio’s last week. Had a couple friends recommend it and the location is great, right next to the Circle. But honestly, it was pretty average pizza. The options were somewhat standard, nothing truly intriguing or out-of-the-box, just your bog standard cheese, pepperoni, sausage, along with an eggplant and a vegetarian. The pizza is extremely thing and the cheese definitely tastes like it’s been sitting out all day waiting to get reheated. The crust is flimsy but actually tastes fine while the sauce does what sauce should do on a thin crust — ie add a bit of flavor but not overpower anything. The price is fantastic though, you get a big slice of pizza for only a couple bucks. Good deal. Overall though, I’d rather go elsewhere for a bit of a higher quality pizza.
