I heard of Frittle Candy from around town, but never really knew I was missing out on something until I finally met Carrie Abbott, Candy Maker and Owner of Frittle Candy, at a recent event. Not only was she very informative of her brand but her tasty treats were a perfect crunchy, salty, treat. Forget chips, this treat is the perfect mixture of a treat. I recommend the Coconut Frittle. Enjoy your snacking.

I was sitting on a Super Bowl Unilocal Tour bus, when an adorable woman across the aisle isle asked if I would like to try a sample of her candy that she was working to turn in to full-scale business. Little did I know at the time, I was talking to The Frittle Queen, the guru of nostalgic candy, the friendly smile behind Frittle Candy, Carrie Abbott! My personal favorite of her line of classic-style hard candies is the toasted coconut brittle. I’ve become quite the coconut fan as of late and just a square or two of this .tasty. candy hits the spot. For only $ 6 a box(at Indiana State Museum, Avec Moi, Goose, Homespun and more), you can share this charming and stylish box of candy. I’m a huge sucker for clever and clean branding — so when I saw the transition from Carrie’s trial days of plastic baggies and labels to her current cardboard square box packaging complete with charming cursive font made me smile from ear to ear. I’m so happy for you, Carrie. Can’t wait to see how other businesses in the community incorporate your product into their own menus.

I am not a huge fan of peanut brittle so I was hesitant to try this version. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized this vegan wheat free option was the best brittle or i mean«frittle«I’ve had in a long long time. I tried the original frittle with peanuts and it was really good, sweet and crunchy, not too sticky. Then I tried the sesame frittle and it was so good! This is definitely worth trying!
