Curtis, Evelyn, and Hunter are great at their professions. There also isn’t a single bad thing on the menu. Get the Old Fashioned if you’re in the bar.

No complaints about the food but all the staff was terrible. The hostess was not welcoming or kind. The waiters and other staff did not tell us about a special, did not pull out my chair or help with my jacket, did not help with napkins or other gestures I’ve experienced at other similar restaurants. The waiter didn’t seem to care about what we ordered. We had to repeat our drink orders several times. He simply took our order with no recommendation of other things to pair it with. The staff barely spoke a word when changing silverware and seemed very unhappy. At the end of our meal they brought an iPad and flopped it on the table nearly spilling drinks and not explaining why it was there or what to do with it. We explained we didn’t want this electrical device on our table. It insulted us and took The personal connection away from the meal and the gentleman explained it’s the waive of the future and we just need to deal with it. The pad to order dessert made no sense, we had already placed a dessert order with the waiter. When I asked where the restroom was the gentleman said follow me but he was at least 15 ft behind me, so I began walking toward the direction he was going and I was treated with condescending remarks of how I could just lead the way or walk along side instead of doing what I was told and the restroom counter had water trails from the faucet to the floor. Very surprising and disappointing service for the type of restaurant it is.

Had a great dinner and meeting with old friends. The atmosphere is dark and subtle and good for conversation. Our server Britany was fabulous and very attentive, yet stayed out of our business and let us enjoy good company. Ordered the Beef Carpaccio and Macaroni and Cheese and it made a nice light, yet tasty dinner. I would highly recommend this place on the north side for a nice evening out!

Husband and I came here to celebrate my birthday thanks to a friend who gave us a gift card for this place. Yes, this place is pretty pricey, but YES the food is worth it! We had wonderful service from the valet to being greeted by the hostess AND the manager to our server and even fellow customers who wished me a happy birthday. We ordered the chilled seafood tower(amazing), bloomsdale spinach salad(amazing), lobster tempura(amazing AND great value!), iron crusted ribeye(WOW), and the fresh berries with cream(light and amazing). Include two bottles of pelligrino water and our total came out to be around $ 160 before tip. Had it not been for the gift card, we never would’ve tried Flemings assuming it would be like all the other overpriced steak houses i.e. St Elmo’s(their steak isn’t even that good). But my husband knows his ribeyes pretty well and we were both blown away by their ribeye here! Make sure you try the iron crusted which makes the outer part of the steak so nice and crispy while the inside is still cooked perfectly. Absolutely enjoyed our evening from start to finish!

Flemings is a great place to visit a couple times a year. I’ve visited this place a few times for special occasions but my mother and I decided just to go for a Saturday night. As most other reviewers have stated, it is very pricey. Drinks range from $ 10-$ 20 a piece. It is very easy to spend $ 60-$ 80 a person with order an entrée, side and drink. However, if you are into fine dining, this is the place to go. Every dish is made with the finest ingredients and are very delectable. I ordered the filet mignon and it was amazing. Very delicate, tender and melt in your mouth. It was complimented with a nice truffle butter that was exquisite. I had Thai green beans and potatoes which were very good. Smaller portions but it was well worth it. The server added to the great experience. Christina was very personable and made us feel like welcomed. She checked on us often, but not too frequent to where I was disturbed. Great atmosphere, the lighting makes it more intimate. Overall I was very pleased and will be back some time soon for my next special occasion.

We came here with a gift card and during Devour Northside, and those are probably the only conditions under which I would return. The special menu was $ 35/person, and on the regular menu the cheapest steak alone was $ 38. The appetizers and shareable side dishes looked to typically be in the $ 10+ range. The«experience» portion of our meal was intriguing… nice place settings, employees wearing suits, etc. but also a restaurant that was mostly empty at 7pm with top hits radio playing. We interacted with a few servers and all were polite and one was genuinely funny. I did not sense that we were treated any differently because we ordered from the Devour Northside menu, which was great. The timing of dishes was just OK. My appetizer was the mushroom ravioli, which had a good taste but was a little undercooked/chewy. I probably wouldn’t order it again, but I’m glad I tried it! I ordered my filet medium rare, and it was definitely more rare than I anticipated. It wasn’t enough that I sent it back, but be warned. I had the Thai green beans(kind of fun, not particularly spicy) and Fleming’s potatoes(basically au gratin potatoes with a little spice and a nice crust). We took some bread pudding to go, and it reheated well and was tasty! Ultimately this meal was a great deal because of the special menu, but I don’t think Fleming’s would be worth it if one were paying full price. Definitely some better steakhouse options around, particularly downtown.

Came for Valentine’s Day! Received amazing service from our waitress she gave amazing suggestions. I ordered a pork chop and it was delicious. The flemmings potatoes have become my favorite side and the Thai green beans were great as well. Great environment welcoming staff and i will surely be coming back for more!

The Barbecue Scottish Salmon Filet = best piece of fish I have ever eaten in my life. Just so delicious! I’ve never had salmon barbecued before and I don’t think I can go back to plain again. Overall, Fleming’s is definitely a splurge place. I noticed while eating there that there were definitely some diners there for whom this meal was not a splurge — lucky you! — but for me, splurge. I think in general you do get what you pay for, the portions are generous for both the entrees and the sides. But still, the prices, yikes! I ordered the cheapest wine on the menu(because I wanted to be fancy and have wine but also stay on SOMEWHAT of a budget) and I felt like our server treated us differently after that. He said something along the lines of «that’s ALL you’re getting?» or something that clearly indicated he was disappointed our bill wouldn’t be as high as he was anticipating. For our sides we ordered the mashed potatoes and asparagus. The mashed potatoes were delicious, the asparagus not so much. My family loves asparagus and we left a lot in the dish because none of us were really feeling it. The sides are definitely large enough to share with 3, maybe even 4 people. Where Fleming’s falls short for me: The tablets on the tables were hokey and did not go with the vibe of the restaurant at all. Most of the wine/drinks was on a separate paper menu so I have no idea why those were on the table. I already mentioned this, but the asparagus was not that good. I’m not sure how a steakhouse messes that up, but they did. Our waiter was really slow about taking care of us. Like I said, I felt like he was judge-y when my dad and I both ordered the cheapest wine on the menu. So we like cheap Pinot, sue us. After that, he didn’t come back to the table as often and took FOREVER to place our order after we got our salads. We must have waited close to an hour for our entrees. I get taking your time and having a relaxing dinner but I thought since we ordered everything together he would have put all of our food in at the same time, not waiting until we were done with our salads before even placing the order in the computer. I was STARVING by the time my entrée came out. I saw someone else say it was their birthday upon arrival(granted they were a regular, at least seemed to be by how friendly the hosts were to him) — and he received a small box of Godiva chocolates. We checked in for our reservation right after him and told them it was my mom’s birthday(it actually really was!) and they said«happy birthday» but no chocolates for her. I thought that was kind of weird/rude that we didn’t get the same treatment. When I made the reservation online I did not indicate it was a special occasion, but I don’t see why they couldn’t have been accommodating on the spot if that is indeed a perk the restaurant has in place. Overall, I don’t think I would go back to Fleming’s unless I had a gift card or someone else was paying. Sounds harsh, but true. Definitely better places to spend a large amount of dollars in Indy.

Great place for a special date night. Pricey, but worth it compared to other steakhouses in the area. We spent a little under $ 200 for two steak dinners, two sides, a bottle of wine, and dessert. The steaks are huge and mine was perfectly cooked(I ordered a rare ribeye). It was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The sides are shareable. We had the garlic mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The potatoes were creamy rather than fluffy, which was a bit of a letdown. The wine list is great and they have this very interesting and helpful app for selecting your wine. We had the molten lava cake for dessert, also yummy. The service was perfect. The food came at a relaxed but perfectly timed pace, the lighting is dim and romantic, the server promptly cleared plates and cleaned the crumbs off the table in between courses. It was very quiet on a Tuesday night and we had no trouble getting a table, though we also had a reservation. They take reservations through their website. The manager stopped by to check on us and the night after we received a thank you note for our patronage. We will return!

Loud techno music, runny mashed orators, fruit flies and spoiled strawberries! Steak was good but the rest not worth a 200.00+ bill for 2. Indy has better so don’t waste your time and money on Flemings!

Fabulous food. Had a family Christmas dinner there and the staff was wonderful and informative. The filet was perfect and the crab cakes were to die for. Definitely get the Fleming potatoes. And if they offer you the molten chocolate cake, just do it.

Reserved through OpenTable, and was seated quickly while others waited. The ambiance was really nice, the wine recommendation was impeccable. The waiter produced a gift of Godiva chocolate box(birthday celebration) once he found out, I was more than touched. The steak was really good, but I wouldn’t call it awesome. Speaking of awesome steaks, Indy doesn’t have one, not even St. Elmo. Back to this: the five stars is for the service, I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience, 4 stars for the food.

Flemings near the Fashion Mall at Keystone at the Crossing is absolutely delicious! I made an 815 reservation thru Open Table 20 minutes before we decided to have dinner there. Seamless process… quite surprised there was availability on a Friday night. Now that being said, we did wait a little bit once we got there because our table wasn’t «quite ready». Gave us an opportunity to sit at the bar. The barkeep was hilarious! Didn’t get his name tho. My dste had a Hennessey neat. A sizeable glass, too. Oscar was our waiter & his personality shined. I ordered the Angus Ribeye with onion rings. My boyfriend ordered the NY Strip with fries. DEE. LISH! I’m usually the one to soak every bite with A1 sauce. No need here! The meat was scrumptious. The onion rings were gargantuan. The service was awesome. We’ll definitely be returning.

Visited for dinner on May 15th. Fantastic meal in general with WONDERFUL service from Jonathan(I would absolutely request him again when we return). Fleming’s has long been my preferred chain high-end steak house. We started with a great bottle of wine, Duckhorn’s Russian River Pinot Noir. Grapes not from Duckhorn’s Napa estate but I was happy with the choice. We each had a Caesar salad, which was excellent and the prosciutto added in is a nice and delicious touch. I ordered the bone-in ribeye, medium rare. Wife ordered filet medium plus. We ordered a side of Fleming’s potatoes to share. My steak was cooked perfectly throughout and was delicious. That said, they put a peppercorn crust on the outside that I didn’t ask for and I found it overwhelming at times, felt like I inhaled pepper bits and almost choked once or twice. That was a little disappointing though I didn’t complain. Her steak was slightly over-cooked, I would say somewhere between medium well and well done; resulted in a slightly dry steak that she said was still delicious though she had to reach across to dip her bites in my steak’s juices several times. She had the cracked pepper issue with her steak as well. The Fleming’s potatoes were delicious though I would say a slight bit under cooked. They were hot all the way through but the potatoes themselves were crunchy. Very good but I’ve had Fleming’s potatoes on numerous occasions and these were probably the worst rendition of them I’ve had. For dessert, we had the deconstructed smores and they were unbelievable. You get a toasted marshmallow brick that you can easily cut and spread on your graham crackers and you have chocolate syrup on the side. One of the best desserts I’ve ever had. On the whole, the meal wasn’t without its hiccups, but amazing service, a great atmosphere, mostly delicious food and outrageous dessert will have me returning in the future.

Great experience. We went for the Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday. Every aspect of this meal was fantastic. This is one of those fine dining restaurants where you feel like you have an entire army of staff at your disposal. The filet was cooked perfectly, and was very tender. We’ll definitely be back.

Birthday dinner was great. The pace of the meal could not have been better. Only hiccup was one steak was very under cooked but it was made right and the profusely apologized. Wonderful service Fleming’s Potatoes are a must try. If you like Ruths Chris you will love Fleming’s. You will walk away full and with more of your $$ in your pocket.

The wedge salad is a must try. This is the best I have had. Also you are trying to be diet conscious you can choose your entrée from an appetizer. I chose the gulf shrimps and scallops which was quite tasty.

This was our first time here. We were given a very generous gift card and decided to try Fleming’s tonight. Maybe I’m bitchy, but what is with places in strip malls having valet service? I get that it’s complimentary, but it is so stupid. There’s a fucking Kohl’s and a restaurant with valet. The only thing more ignorant than the strip mall valet are the douche-bags that use it. Our server, Quinn, was WONDERFUL. In the event I’m ever back here, I will request him. In fact, I’ll DEMAND him! You should, too. We started with the calamari, which was really good. The pickled peppers were a nice sweet and tart touch. The calamari was very tender. 4 star dish, without a doubt. We then had salads, Mr. Jen F had the Fleming’s salad and said it was fresh and tasted nice. I had the wedge, which was very good with a nice slice of bleu cheese and crisp bacon. We each had the filet. I made mine Oscar style and Philip added the barbecue shrimp. Steaks were great, flavorful, tender and cooked perfectly. 5 stars on the quality of meat and preparation. The toppings were probably in the 3 star range. My Bearnaise was good, but there wasn’t very much. The crab was flaked lump instead of a large, juicy piece. The sides weren’t awesome. We had Fleming’s potatoes, sauteed mushrooms and roasted cipollini onions. We actually had to send the potatoes back as they were completely under cooked. We NEVER send things back, but the potato was raw and this really turned us off of the dish, so we got fries. The fries were very good. The mushrooms and onions weren’t great. Under seasoned and many of the onions had a thick outer skin that would have been better off removed. Drinks were kept full. We were very well cared for. Dessert and coffee were pretty good. Carrot cake was outstanding and the cheesecake was only okay. With generous tip to the delightful Quinn, we came to about $ 250 and that is too much for this place. P. S. The tablets with the wine list and dessert menu are obnoxious. Are you a traditional style chophouse as your menu suggests or are you a nouveau bistro?
