Cumberland Flowers

Called to order a corsage and boutonnière for a father/​daughter dance. The lady on the phone said that it would be $ 25 for the corsage and $ 19 for the boutonnière. When I questioned the high prices, the lady then said she could do the boutonnière for $ 9. She then said the total would be $ 47. When I asked about the total (it should have be around $ 34) she stated there were «labor costs», AND she wanted me to pay up front over the phone. I then told her I wasn’t comfortable paying until I saw the flowers (based on the previous review) and I thought I would look around be I placed an order. The lady said «please do» then hung up. I have used that florist for over 20 years (since high school dances) and have never been treated like this. I even got all of our wedding flowers here. I don’t know what has happened but I’ll never go back. I called Kroger in Greenfield and placed the same order with the same flowers for less than $ 25. It’s a shame to see a long-​standing local business go downhill.
