Got there at 8pm. Stood in the waiting area for 5 minutes before ANYONE talked to us. They had NO clean tables and NOBODY cleaning the dirty tables. I know there was 2 familys that turned around and left when we left. WILL NOT BE BACK!

Haven’t been here in a while. Came here last weekend and it wasn’t bad, decided to come back today. What a mistake. Looking around this place is dirty, and has a weird smell. I don’t like the brownish, thick, sausage gravy either, tasts like it’s straight out of a bag, maybe warmed up in the mocrowave. Waitress was pushy. We were here early, hardly anyone was here, seemed like she was trying to rush us, why?, it’s Sunday morning, 7:30 ! lol

I enjoyed by 4 fruit and nut hotcakes of blueberries, bananas, and pecans. It was a lot for the cost. Leftover and leftover. The 2 slices of gingerbread with icing were delicious. Also, I got a hot cup of grits.
The only thing I wish was different is trying to find the parking lot entry.

Bob Evans is NOT just down on the farm. It’s wedged in between Carmel and 465, a car dealership and a BP with a McDs.
But that’s okay, Mr. Evans. You can lie, but you can’t fool me.
There’s a little shop up in the front of the restaurant, much like Cracker Barrel; however, the size and the wares do not even compare. In this regard, Bob Evans is way behind. On flavor, Bob Evans wins.
But do they make salt down on the farm?
Many items are pretty salty. The biscuits and gravy are pretty good, but they are VERY salty.
The food is always predictable at BE. The service, not so much. But it’s always nice to sit in a booth and let it swallow you up, sip on some coffee and get yer grub on.

Bob Evans has a huge menu of favorites from bacon and eggs to chicken fried steak, salads, sandwiches, basically anything you can think of. The prices here are super cheap and you and a friend can get in and out for under 20 bucks including tip. They have 30 items on the menu under 5.99 and the quality isnt that bad either. Their portion size is fairly large and will definitely fill you up.
