Artistic Skin Design & Body Piercing

My husband and I wanted to get tattoos so we stopped by and the guy told us to come back in one hour. He never told us they were cash only and that did not occur to us. When we came back we just wanted words so when I put the words up on me it just did not look right. I asked the artist for his advice on location and he just didn’t seem interested. I know it was not a high dollar tattoo but a buck is a buck and every customer should count. So we went to fill out the paperwork and that is where it said cash only.
He said there was an ate around the corner but that is when I took it as a sign we should not get this tattoo. He said they are just words anyway anyone can do it.
Remember customer service is key, if you are cash only tell your customers that even if there is a sign placed somewhere I. The building when you ask them to come back. Also when they ask advice at least act like you might have a bit of advice for them.

The place was clean and the other artists were all Badass cool were professional but the artist I was dealig with, Freak change his price three on me that the from original quote by the hour also he claimed to be fast the whole time what she did the night at my Phoenix was the color it was done by another artist that I put on Unilocal if you want to look for it it’ll be there just follow me and that was it and it was an outrageous price and that I lost my deposit he wouldn’t give it back because he knew he was wrong and this is why, he broke my heart when he said he couldnt do my mount and try to convince me it wouldn’t look right and that’s one of the reasons I left and never came back so that means he stoled $ 250 look at my mountain it’s badass and freak didn’t do it Dave Salone Free Hand in Brownsburg I will always go to him because he did Me write my free did not do this mountain, Frank thought it was his tattoo and not i I lost $ 150 deposit, his alcohol rub down was too rough Freak did it unpurpose so he could finish early and I would have to come bak more times which was inefficient just wanted to charge me more money he is a bad communicator would not call me besides text I asked for a phone call he only texts also said he couldn’t do my badass Mountain Cuz he thought it wouldn’t look right, looks fine to me. Free Hand studio on Green Street Brownsburg Indiana did my mountain and said why he thought he couldn’t do it he didn’t understand Free Hand on Green Street Brownsburg Indiana. Freak also canceled few appointment at the appointment time he thought he was special.

Clean shop, great artists, and superb quality. I went to Bart to get some of his original designs and they turned out amazing. Great eye popping color and nice clean lines. When I went in the shop was pretty quiet so I was able to just relax and talk with two of the artists while I got the work done. They were a lot of fun and definitely made the experience more enjoyable. I definitely plan on coming back to get more work done.

I am new to Indianapolis and was so nervous about finding a new tattoo parlor to love. It can go so wrong! — Luckily, I made the right choice.
The three artists that work here are personable, professional, and talented. The shop is clean and bright. My artist, Bart Leonard (@bartleonardart on Instagram) gave me a great tattoo!

I have had an idea for a tattoo that I have been wanting to get for the past 2 years. I usually wait a year after I have a tattoo idea to make sure that it’s not a passing impulse I am going to regret later. Once I was positive I was going to get this tattoo, unfortunately it took me another year to find a shop in Indy with an artist that I felt comfortable with permanently inking my body.
I admit, I am kind of a tattoo snob, and extremely particular about what I like and don’t like about tattoos. Yes, I will judge the shit out of your tattoo, but I don’t think that is a surprise to anyone considering how much I Unilocal.
Anyway, back to Artistic Skin Designs: Fountain Square. I happened by the shop one day and saw someone inside, and decided on a whim to go talk to him and see what he was like. I ended up meeting Dane Smith, one of the tattooists who work there, and I told him my tattoo idea.
After looking at his portfolio and being extremely impressed by his work, I was happy to hear he had gone to art school, knew the artist I was referencing in my tattoo idea, and seemed pretty into the idea of drawing a custom piece for me… I was excited. A $ 20 deposit later, and I was in business.
When I came in for my appointment and saw what he had came up with, I was overjoyed, it was even better than what I had envisioned for my idea! He explained why he made the changes he did, and we talked about the coloring and then got started. Dane works very fast and a tattoo that covers my side from ribs to hip was done in 3.5 hours. He is extremely easy to talk to, and did a really good job making me feel comfortable and distracting me from the pain. Towards the end, when I was hitting the limit of my pain tolerance and I didn’t want to talk anymore, he was really nice about it, and gave me updates on how much more he had to do before it was finished.
Dane was really knowledgeable about his craft, and very thorough about explaining the process from beginning to end, including aftercare. He is super talented and professional, the shop is extremely clean and bright and welcoming, not intimidating at all. They use gloves and everything was sterile. I felt very comfortable getting a tattoo at this shop. I highly recommend going to see him if you are interested in a new tattoo. I had a great experience here, and will definitely be going back for more work in the future if the tattoo bug bites me again.
