Rudest staff I’ve ever encountered. I wouldn’t give this place another dime. Liquor stores are a dime a dozen. If I were you, I’d spend my money elsewhere. If you do decide to stop in here, I definitely wouldn’t do around 5:00 on a Saturday.(Especially on January 16, 2016 … hint, hint)

Funny how someone else reviewing says the staff here is friendly… These guys are pretty much jerks. Second time in a row the guys have been rude. This time purchasing three cartons of beer(a 4pac of cans, 4pack of bottles and six pack of bottles) and no offer of a bag or anything. Then just shoves them forward at me and says«ok then.» My wife asked if they had something special she has been looking for and the other guy just quickly said«NO» without an offer to order or a suggestion of something similar or anything. The beer selection is ok but definitely not great. Some local stuff and other popular craft beer offering but not a complete selection at all. Many common GREAT beers missing. I realize they can’t have everything but there sure is a lot of the ‘third tier’ craft stuff that most true craft beer connoisseur don’t purchase. The prices are a bit high, too. Probably just playing to the neighborhood on that one but that just makes one more reason not to go there. Bottom line, do not expect any help from there guys, do not expect a happy additude and do not expect good prices… If you just want you liquor in a typical middle-aged-grumpy-American way, then drop on in… But for me, two times in a row being spoken to rudely for no reason, this will be my last time at this store.

I love how this feels like a neighborhood liquor store. I am not watching my back like someone might rob me in the parking lot and I am not turned away by stuffy arrogance in the wine section. They always have what I am looking for… and a little more. They have tags on certain wine that signify best wines under $ 10 or $ 20. Its helps me make a decision when i am faced with so many choices! The peeps at the register always make me smile. So friendly!

This gala of craft beer, good wine, and excessive spirits is a must if you are looking for something a little better than your usual vodka handles and 30-packs of Boxer beer. They have a huge assortment of wines and champagnes, which I spent a very long time looking at. They have wine tasting experiences on Saturdays, and I thought that was interesting for a local liquor store. Their craft beer selection is amazing. I will definitely be going here from now on to buy my craft beers and microbrews. They had 6-packs of beers that I’ve never even heard of, alongside classics, such as your local Sun King. They have beers out in the main stock area, as well as cold beers in the back freezer(where you will find the real beer gems). I’m really looking forward to the next time I can come here and buy some fresh beer. It’s in a great location and easily accessible. The prices are no more and no less than any of your other liquor stores, so that’s a neutral price to pay for some excellence.

This is a great neighborhood liquor store – and has been for years. They have an excellent selection of beer and the staff is friendly. They also have a large collection on wine and spirits. I’m a fan!

The guys in here are great and have a passion for booze… I like that. They have a wide selection of liquors, micro and import beers, and have anything you can think of when it comes to mixers. The prices are pretty average and they also have one of those club cards you can sign up to receive special discounts but it really doesn’t seem to do anything. I’ve yet to reap the benefits from it. I wish their wine selection larger but for a small neighborhood these guys have enough of everything to satisfy any customer.

If you notice the first thing on my profile’s «things I love,» section… you’ll see«surf rock.» Surf Rock is rare ’round these parts. There’s an every now & then surf rock band at Melody Inn, and it’s on some stellar jukeboxes… but I usually have to get it from outside 465. Lo! The always coiffed campadres behind the counter here we’re rocking to surf rock on a Thursday night! «Lost surf rock bands of the 1950s» was the album The kind guys even had recommendations for Surf Rock — Los Straight Jacket! Your standard prices & pretty well-rounded selection of micro/crafts & imports. Be very weary(yet again) for expired beer. That case of fat tire for 9 dollars is 9 dollars because it’s old. Only place I’ve seen Christian Moerlein in Indy. Good form!
