STAYAWAYFROMTHETECHPEOPLEHERE!!! In fact just stay away! I took my IPhone 5s here for a simple screen replacement and got screwed over big time. They charged me $ 136 to replace screen which is comparable to everyone else I checked but didn’t bother to tell me that as soon as they touched my phone the warranty was voided on the phone. After they fixed the screen they turned the phone on to the set up screen and said it was working. I took the phone home and by the time I got there it was so HOT i could barely hold it. I turned it off and let it sit then after it cooled I restarted it and phone was messed up the charge icon on top did not work and phone would restart every few minutes. I called the next day and was told to return it the following day because their work is guaranteed. I took it back the tech looked at it went into the back room came back 20 minutes later and said he was going to be sending it out to their«master tech» because he didn’t know what was wrong. This was on a Wednesday. He told me I would have it back by Monday or Tuesday at the absolute latest, and punctuated this by saying«if you don’t have it back by Tuesday I will drive there myself and pick it up for you». The following Monday while in the mall I went into this store to ask if they might have heard anything and the manager told me that the tech had never sent the phone ANYWHERE and in fact when asked by the manager the tech said he NEVER spoke with the so called«master tech». At this point the manager reached under the desk and handed me my phone saying they would not do anymore for me. Several days later my phone completely broke and I had to buy a new IPhone. They fixed the screen broke something else then refused to stand by their guarantee. Furthermore from the beginning they did not disclose the warranty issue. As far as I’m concerned they r either to crooked to be trustee at this store to unskilled or stupid to do their jobs or both.

Like any other Radio Shack across the nation, prices are jacked up on cables and adapters(if you can snag them on-line somewhere, and aren’t in a hurry for them to arrive, do it). Staff is always quick to approach you, which may be a good thing if they know more than you, but in my case — they usually don’t, and end up being an annoyance. That’s not the employees fault though, because that’s what HQ tells them to do. They’re generally nice. Nothing bad to say about them. However Radio Shack quit servicing geeks and nerds in the late 80s, and now wants to be some pseudo-chic technology store for your grandma(«The Shack» — vomit). All that said, if you need a 20ft MIDI cable pronto — and you don’t want to go to a real city(i.e. Pittsburgh), then it’s your only option, and I guess it’s nice to at least have that option.

ipods, mp3 players, cell phones, headphones, and all kinds of speaker wires. This is your one stop electronic shop. The store is not huge, but they got most of what you are looking for. Sattelite radios, microphones, AC adaptors, usb ports, and wifi equipment are all in stock. The employees are always willing to help you find what you need.
