This is the BEST pizza and sauce I’ve had since moving to Florida 12 months ago! I’ve been on the quest for legit NY Italian food. I read about this place on Unilocal and I’m so glad we visited. As mentioned, don’t mind the location… It’s in a Chevron station. It’s more if a takeout place, but we stayed in because we live a little far. Pizza was excellent and the slices were huge. We really enjoyed the lasagna and baked ziti as well. The sauce was excellent! Gino and the guys here are a great team! Super friendly and very proud of their food. Thanks for a great meal! We plan on being regulars!

I have ordered from here about 20 times in the past 6 months. Once it was absolutely horrible, hence the 4 stars, but every other time it was fantastic! After 2 years in Texas, where the pizza is terrible, this place was a welcome change! Love Tonys!

We recently tried the pizza here based on the glowing reviews but were somewhat disappointed. And I was really taken aback when discovering that the pizza is made in a wing of a gas-station-style mini mart. The thick-crust pizza really wasn’t all that great, not at all like Chicago deep-dish pizzas I’ve had in the past. The crust seemed dry and without much flavor. To make matters worse, the wait was quite a bit longer than promised when we phoned in our order. When we went to pick up our order after the estimated wait time, we were told that thick-crust pizzas took a lot longer than thin crusted ones because the dough had to rise. Hmm, did the guy who took our order not know this when he estimated wait time? And that while waiting we were surrounded by all that ambience of the mini-mart? The thinner NY-style pizza was considerably better but certainly not excellent. Bottom line: pizza is OK but not great, reasonably-priced, and don’t expect much atmosphere, especially if «dining in»!

Damn good pizza just the way I like it. If you are in the area and are in the mood for pizza, this is the place. At first you might be skeptical because it is located in a gas station but once you try it, all your doubts will fade away. The people that work here are super friendly. This is definitely a hidden gem that probably only the locals know about.

I moved from Sarasota to this god forsaken County seven years ago and had difficulty finding good pizza. Finally dropped in to get gas and figured let me try this place. Who would’ve thought that the best pizza in town was located in a gas station. Definitely the best pizza in the county will continue to buy my pizza from Tony’s

I ordered delivery and it was delicious! I placed my order with a friendly and professional staff member. I paid very little for the large proportional meal I received. I will continue to order and refer to this great buissness!

Great pizza and pasta. This is my second take out order from Tony’s and am very happy I found this restaurant. The pizza is delicious and the crust is fresh and crisp. First time I ordered lasagna dinner, generous portion, which was average but tasty. The garlic rolls are out of this world. Zitti is superb!

On my daily commute from Satellite Beach to Melbourne I had been driving past Tony’s Famous N.Y. Pizza for several months before trying it for takeout on Monday, August 20, 2012. Tony’s Famous NY Pizza has a regular pizza and Italian restaurant in Cocoa off I-95(I have never been to the Cocoa location) and their Indian Harbour Beach location on South Patrick is a Pizza In Gas Station(P.I.G.S). Tony’s is inside a Chevron Convenience Store on the west side of South Patrick Blvd. Until I moved to the Space Coast I was unfamiliar with the PIGS phenomena but it seems that PIGS are everywhere in the Space Coast. The Pizza in Gas Station concept makes sense. the gas station puts part of their convenience store to good use, gets a paying tenant and when people go to the pizza restaurant they may buy gas, soda, beer, cigarettes or lotto tickets at the same time. Tony’s has its own cash register. If a PIGS has you pay at the same register as you would for gas either the PIGS is owned by the gas station or they do not want their cooks touching money. Tony’s also has a few tables so you can eat your pizza there if you want to. Tony’s offers both slices and whole pies. In additional to pizza, they have Boar’s Head cold cuts for subs, Gyros, and traditional pasta dishes. I had a 14 inch mushroom pie(Medium) which was $ 10.00 with tax. They also offer an 18 inch Large and a 24 inch Extra Large which is about the size of a car tire. I ordered the pie well done(I called ahead) and watched it come out of the oven. «Is this done enough for you,» the cook asked while showing me the bottom of the pie. «Almost» I replied, «I would like to see some char spots on the bottom.» Tony’s has a Baker’s pride style gas pizza oven… which is the real deal… not an electric conveyor oven used by lesser chain pizzas. They are serious about their pizza. The pizza was piping hot, the crust was crisp, I liked their sauce and the sauce to cheese ratio was spot on. They use fresh mushrooms,(something you also find a Leonards but most beachside pizza restaurants including Bizzaros use canned mushrooms). Two years ago I would have told you that to get good pizza required leaving the beach and crossing the bridge to Melbourne, Viera or Palm Bay. Most beachside pizza is awful(see my 1 star reviews of Cibellis and Pistillis for exactly why). Now with Tony’s Famous and Leonard’s there are good options for pizza beachside. 4 Stars for takeout pizza. Update: 9÷27÷2013: Pizza was not as good a year ago. Are they dusting the pizza with Garlic or some kind of flavor enhancer with MSG… I don’t know. Leonards has since closed. These days my go to place for beachside Pizza is Puzino’s on South Patrick in Satellite Beach about a mile further north. Dropping rating for Ton’s from 4 stars to 3. Update 8÷20÷2015: Had a pizza here last week. Did not notice dusting referenced in 2013 update, very good pie, perhaps they had a bad day, hot, fresh, crispy, fast service… back to 4 stars.
