Love this place and love all the employees! I come in often and usually need help with something and they are always happy to help!

Love that place! Not only did they help me get the right bike but they have been ever so helpful outfitting it, servicing it etc.
I am so glad I bought there rather then from a big box store. I highly recommend this shop for all and any bicycle related purchases!

If you make a reservation for a bike with this shop and guarantee it with a credit card maybe you can actually rent a bike from them… or maybe not. It’s an exciting game of chance and if you enjoy that type of game, THIS is the place to rent a bike… or maybe not.
As the official bike shop of the Rocketman Triathlon at Kennedy Space Center, I decided to use this shop to rent a bike for the race. Since the race is May 5^th I made a reservation online well in advance on 3÷31÷13. The auto reply said I would be contacted «soon» with details.
When I had not heard anything by 4÷8÷13 I called. The dude that answered was either a skilled actor practicing his spot on impersonation of Jeff Spicoli or he was stoned or possibly just stupid. I can’t say for sure. I told him that I wanted to confirm that they had my reservation and I would indeed have a bike for the race. He said the guy who does reservations doesn’t work on Mondays. I asked if he could just look to confirm that they had my information, he said he didn’t know how to do that. (apparently computers are just too technical and fancy for our buddy Jeff) Later that day I got an email saying they had my reservation and would be contacting me with details soon. Silly me, I thought this meant I had a bike reserved and didn’t need to worry.
A week and a half later (4÷16÷13) I get a voice mail from the shop, they don’t have a bike for me. No apology, no explanation they just don’t have enough bikes. They suggested I call another shop. And since they are the «official bike shop» for the triathlon you would think they just might have thought ahead to have a few extra bikes on hand. That would be craaaaazy!
I did find another shop in town, Infinity bike. A wonderful person there named Melissa helped me. I’ll write a full review of my experiences there after the race. But based on my initial contact I’m expecting good things. At least they have the basic concept of customer service figured out there.
As for Bob’s Bike Shop if you want to play a game of chance go ahead and try and rent a bike from them. It could be fun… or maybe not.

I didn’t buy my bike from Bob’s, but they were very helpful in making sure I could actually ride it comfortably by adjusting the seat and tightening up a number of items which were a bit loose and wobbly. So nice and helpful… I’ll be getting all of my bike needs taken care of at Bob’s!

Very knowledgable if you have any questions. We have bikes from here and they were a decent deal but what we valued most was the expertise from the staff.

You can have your bike worked on by a guy with a handle bar mustache. Where I come from, that’s called awesome.

WoW! old fashioned customer service. I love these guys! I needed a rear mount rack for an upcoming trip. My car dealer called first to make sure they had the one I wanted. Walked in, they had the box already out and were waiting for me. I was shown various locks and components (if I wanted them) with no pressure to buy. Rang me up and then 2 of the guys followed me out to the truck to install it for me and show me how to use it.
Wonderful, wonderful experience with a nice group of folks. Next time I need a part or a new bike, I’ll be heading to Bob’s.

The BEST part of my vacation; rented bikes and rode all over town for seven days. They give you helmets, locks and a bike rack, too. With summer coming, be sure and go out early morning and get back to jump in the ocean or pool by ten. The guys were very nice and we will definitely do this again!
