The server is awesome very accommodating and able to adjust on the fly, which is a huge asset. Sharing some mussels with mom as well the lobster dip and coconut shrimp was tasty. Ask for loni as she is the super server.

We had a great server she was very friendly and our drinks were never empty. My only complaint is that my 11.00 side steak was dry only ate a vew bites and even though I told waitress it wasnt taken off our bill. For that kind of money it should of been much better or at least taken off our bill.

Today’s experience was all around mediocre. Service, food, ambiance was all just meh. Nothing went wrong by any means but also there was nothing outstanding to make me go back either. After all it is a franchised seafood joint that you are getting what you paid for.

Red lobster is red lobster. If you’ve been to one, you’ve been to them all, right? Although they all pretty much have the same menu, this location gets an edge over others because of the cleanliness and more importantly… Shelley! I’ve been to this location several times and always ask for Shelley. She is very attentive and extra nice, so this one gets a extra star from me. The food comes out pretty quick and they keep the biscuit basket filled :)

I love seafood and good seafood isn’t easy to find in the middle of the country. This visit consisted of two carry out meals. When I called to place the order I was put on hold for 10 minutes or so. Not a good start since it was 4:00 and the dinner rush shouldn’t be in full swing yet. The order taker was pleasant and very helpful. The restaurant was clean and I was greeted immediately as I entered. My order was ready when I arrived and the bartender was professional and pleasant. When I got home I noticed that a baked potato was missing. Not something I’m going to call and try to get replaced, but mildly annoying. The rest of the dinner was perfect. The fish was fresh and cooked to a golden brown, the shrimp was big and also cooked to perfection. All of the necessary side items were included(cocktail sauce, tarter sauce, butter and utensils). All in all it was a good dinner, but they need to pay a little bit more attention to detail. For the price it needs to be a perfect experience and it wasn’t.

Brought a large party there after an early day wedding, on a Friday. We tried to RESERVE but was told ‘NO’ and was a little nervous. We didn’t all get one table — but we were all in the same vicinity — which was ok! They were very complying about setting up a table for a wedding cake that we had made for the occasion. The Ladies that attended us were delightful and I think were trying really hard to make our day delightful!!! We actually CHOSE to get married during Red Lobster’s ‘Lobsterfest’. So that our guests, who came from Southern California, Southeast Missouri, Denver Colorado & Wichita Kansas could have a Beautiful meal after Our Wedding!

My hubby loves their cheddar biscuits and the Cajun chicken pasta. He is not a seafood guy, so when I am craving seafood — lobster, crab legs, shrimp, we go here. Our server was really nice. But, I feel like she was overwhelmed. It took quite awhile between steps. We ordered our drinks, waited. We got our drinks, waited. We ordered our food, waited. It took a LONG time for her to even bother to see if our meals were okay & she walked away so fast, I could not really answer. I got the steak and lobster tail. Steak was good, lobster tail was over cooked. We said we were ready to go, asked for dessert to go and needed a to go box for the extra pasta, waited, and waited, and waited. Finally, we got our bill and we waited. I think I need to learn that restaurants in Independence are only busy because there is not a lot to choose from, not because they are actually good.

Admittedly not a seafood person but took my wife for valentines day. Steak was decent but had no seasoning. Fries were soggy as if they’d been sitting since lunch. We sat at the bar which was filthy. Bartender was wearing a uniform that hadn’t been washed in days and hiding food under the margarita machine to eat later. Plates and trays left all over the side stations. Stay away from this place. If they get popped with a surprise Health Department inspection, I could pretty much guarantee they’d get shut down.

Red Lobster on Noland Road is another of those places in Independence that is always busy. We do not eat there often, at Hubby’s request since he isn’t much of a fan of seafood and/or fish, but we were taking a Grandson for a birthday dinner and this was his choice. It turned out to be a nice meal. We allowed DGS(dear grandson) to order anything on the menu and he ordered The Ultimate Feast that includes a tender split Maine lobster tail, steamed snow crab legs, garlic shrimp scampi and Hand-breaded, butterflied, deep-fried Shrimp. Which sounds like a lot of food(and it was) but DGS devoured every morsel in the time that it took me to eat half the food on my plate and request a box to take the remainder home for later. Hubby and I both ordered Wood-Grilled Peppercorn Sirloin and a skewer of half a dozen plump large shrimp finished with a buttery garlic glaze. My meal started with a fresh tasting Caesar salad and the entrée was accompanied by a baked potato and steamed broccoli. Of course, a basket of warm cheddar biscuits arrived at our table soon after we ordered and was replenished as needed through out the meal. When our sweet server came to the table to box our leftovers, she brought a bag with«a couple» more biscuits to take home. I know why Red Lobster is always busy: They offer generous portions of well prepared food at a fair price with friendly, helpful service. It may be part of a chain but it is a chain that knows how to please it’s customers and provides what they are looking for.

I often choose Red Lobster for special birthdays, like the one we celebrated today, my mom’s 80th. I chose Red Lobster cause it tastes good, and the few times I’ve eaten there, they hit it right on, both servicewise and food. When it comes to eating, I’m kind of price conscious, so I don’t eat at Red Lobster, but once every few years. We didn’t have to wait for a table, even though they seemed full from the parking lot. There are plenty of spaces in the back. The servers were jovial, and I said, «It’s my mom’s 80th birthday.» They said, «We sing happy birthday here.» There was a table near us who were also celebrating a birthday. The service was prompt and happy. Our biscuits(my favorite part of Red Lobster) came warm, with out salad. Our food just at the right time. My mom ordered decaffinated coffee. and the server asked her if it was good. My mom said, «Not really.» and we weren’t charged. Our main meal(my son ordered maple chicken, with a skewer of maple shrimp.) was right on and tasted very good. Again, timing was perfect. Too bad they don’t sever a skewer of maple shrimp, cause it was delicious. I had shrimp scampy and scallops. The lunch selections are available at a good price. My mom had shrimp scampy and a baked potato. Our drinks stayed full. I had iced tea, would’ve had a hurricane,. but I had to go back home and work a couple of more hours, Not a good idea to drink a hurricane and have to go back to work. They sang«Happy Birthday», and bought me the check. We had excellent service, and I look forward to another special occasion to eat at Red Lobster again.

Third time in at Red Lobster as of this review and every single time, I have not been disappointed. The service is excellent and the food, well, it’s darn near perfect everytime. Their cheese bread served tableside is awesome.(You will be tempted to fill up on those… don’t do it! Save for your meal… it’s worth the wait). Tonight, I had the steak with lobster and shrimp. The steak(med) was cooked to perfection, tender, juicy and flavorful. The lobster was a sweet morsel of heavenly glory on the palet and the shrimp had a great, fresh taste to it. Sever was on top of it. The only one little complain I have, call me old fashion because it is, but I just have a pet-peeve being called by my first name when you don’t know me. The waitress overheard my friend with whom I was dining, call me by name and joined in as well. Not bad enough to complain, but I’d rather be called just a simple«sir» when being served in a public setting just as this. I know, you all are probably rolling your eyes, but it’s my little pet peeve. Nice, clean bathrooms. Big plus on that. The atomsphere is dimly lit… which I appreciate… I’m not there to be put under a heat lamp for show(I’d hate to ruin your appetite). Red Lobster… you can’t go wrong. They got it down.

I ate there on Thursday, September 30 at night with my girlfriend. Leaving her big mouth aside and her constantly being critical of me, I’m going to give an objective review. I had the full Shrimp Linguino Alfredo, and it was enormous! The alfredo had a nice, creamy texture. It was delicious. As mentioned before, it was huge, and it filled me up. The Seafood Stuffed Mushrooms were to die for. Their cheddar biscuits were wonderful. If it hadn’t been for my girlfriend’s big mouth, constantly being critical of me, I would probably enjoy the meal more. My full order of Shrimp Alfredo was decently priced-$ 18.95.I mean, what do you expect with a seafood item? If I would have had a more enjoyable meal. we would have ordered dessert. I would definitely recommend this place. Our server, Ronnie, was a great guy. Go by yourself.

I LOVE this place, but it is out of my normal price range(Over $ 20 if I order what I really want!), so I don’t usually eat here unless I have a coupon, or a gift card. I admit it … I’m a cheapskate! I use coupons daily, and save up for ridiculous splurges! As you enter the front door, there is a podium where you tell the attendant your name and the number in your party. Often, there will be at least a short wait. You can sit on the benches to the left, or there’s a comfortable bar just to the right where you can wait if you like. Time of day has a great deal to do with whether you have a long wait or not! As you are finally being seated, you’ll pass a lobster tank as you approach the dining room, which has a nice atmosphere … dark wood, and a seaside, fishy-type décor. The Red Lobster menu always has some intriguing drinks to offer, a wide array of seafood selections, and some fantastic desserts. I am totally undone by The Chocolate Wave(warm, rich chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, and chocolate sauce)! For me, one of the best things is when you’re seated at your table, and the server brings you that basket of garlic-cheese Cheddar Bay biscuits. Oh, my! I could almost make a whole meal of those! But, I usually order a small steak and fried fish(lots of lemon, please) with a salt-baked potato(hold the sour cream, lots of butter!) or the wild rice pilaf, depending on my mood, and the salad, dry, with lemon. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m a picky eater! So far, this meal has never failed to please me! Sometimes, for a change, I get fried shrimp instead of the fried fish. The servers and the kitchen have always been very nice about special requests here. Red Lobster has a great kids’ menu that offers favorites ranging from macaroni and cheese, to broiled fish, popcorn shrimp, chicken fingers, and grilled chicken, to snow crab legs! Service is usually pretty good, although occasionally I get a server who is either very busy, or distracted, and I end up running out of ice water, or needing more biscuits … and no server in sight. When they finally DO get around to me, they’re apologetic about the delay. This is the first place I take my friend from Vegas when she comes to visit. It’s her all-time favorite restaurant. It’s definitely in My «Top 10!» Visit to check out their menu in advance. Click on Passion for the Sea, and learn about Seafood A-Z, Seafood News, and Sea to Table, etc. Wander into the Kids’ Cove, and listen to a variety of ocean sounds, or take a short quiz and discover what sort of sealife best exemplifies your inner being.(Turns out I’m a green sea turtle!)

We ate at Red Lobster last night. We were able to get in right away and the food was exceptional. Our waitress was very accurate and very attentive. I hadn’t been here in a while and I would definately recommend this place after this last trip.
