I haven’t eaten at a BK in years so I thought I’d give it a whirl. Not too bad, better than a lot of places I’ve tried late at night. I can only complain about not getting any ketchup for my fries… I hate that!

I left home on an empty stomach the other day and by the time I got to Independence I was hungry. I just wanted something fast and easy so ran thru the drive thru here since it was on my way to the highway. They are having some serious construction but still have the drive thru open. As I waited for my order, I see inside that it is quite a mess inside right now. Seems a little concerning that they are preparing my food in all the construction dust, but the food came out fresh and actually quite good. The orange juice was ICECOLD which I appreciate. A lot of places seem to give you room temperature juice.

Sara D. and I wanted something inexpensive. Me, I don’t eat cheeseburgers, and knew that Burger King sells the Morningstar Burgers…($ 3.09, yes, they are the one’s in the green box in my freezer, bah!) But the thing is, Burger King is the only fast food chain place, common chain place, that sells this. Not Mcdonalds or Wendy’s. Why the hell can’t Wendy’s come up with a veggie burger? BK gets creds with that. The rest of the meal was fine. Hey, it’s BK, and it’s just fine. There were atleast 4 tables uncleaned in there. That made it difficult to figure out where we would sit. The food was fixed quickly, and correct(me, I’m a plain veggie burger girl, don’t ever mess it up, or they’d feel my wrath.) We finished quick, and left, and I didn’t see them cleaning any of the dirty tables, and that bugs the heck out of me. Burger King-kudos for the veggie burger, Bah for the dirty tables.
