Great staff, great music, great coffee. Perfect stop on the way to the slopes. Everything you want in a local shop. This place is a great opportunity to get your caffeine fix and support local business. You couldn’t ask for more.

Hip local coffee shop that is welcoming to all. Appropriately named a lab because here real baristas serve the classics and artful brews; coffees and teas. They also promote local goods and awareness. Places like this are what«make a village».

Can’t say enough about this place that’s why Im there usually every day for my usual. Though some of the staff make my coffee a little different each time that’s ok its still really good. I like to have a place that understands my taste and are friendly!

Fantastic find in Incline Village. Coffee made right, not too sweet and nice and strong. Coffee roast has hints of anise. Will definitely be back.

Love this coffee shop in Incline Village! Supporting local businesses is always a plus when you’re visiting out of town(and even if you live local). If you visit around the holidays, I recommend one of their seasonal holiday lattes. I tried the snowflake latte which essentially is a white mocha and one of their maple lattes. If you order in a «for here» cup, you will receive their latte art(and I suppose you may get it in the to go cup as well). The espresso was perfect, milk was frothed well, and no burnt aftertaste. Very smooth overall.

Hard to find craft-obsessed coffee outside of major metropolitan areas, but these folks have done a good job with it. I got a pourover and the beans were ground fresh after the barista kindly pulled out bins full of whole roasted beans for me to sniff. Comfy places to lounge and a nice locals vibe round out this spot to get caffeinated on the north shore of Tahoe.

The coffee was OK, but the carrot cake was awful and tasted old and rancid. May give it another try.

I Have visited IV coffee lab two or three time since moving to incline village, and have yet to be served a decent drink. To call itself a coffee lab is an insult to quality coffee shops and coffee enthusiasts everywhere. This time we tried a simple tea and a seasonal maple latte, Beaker from the muppets could have made a better latte. Cold, weak(even with an additional shot!) and overpoweringly sweet, this was the worst 5 dollar coffee drink we have ever bought. The two stars are for the service and for the owner’s commitment to the community, I appreciate the choice to display local students art work and support the local high school sports teams.

Proper place in the middle of town. Very nice and helpful staff to let us know nearest dog park. My cap was made very well with good flavors. I don’t know about latte art since mine was covered. Thumbs up for me.

I came here every morning on my week long work trip to Incline Village. The staff here is very friendly, and remember myself and my coworker each day. The coffee/teas are great, the breakfast selections are on point. But what throws this place over the top is the selection of eye candy frequenting this place every morning! MY. GOD. Young professionals, drinking their morning coffee, sitting on their laptops for all to see. Needless to say, we sat and enjoyed the view daily.

Insanely great coffee beverages are to be had at this gem. Here, coffee transforms from a simple cup of Joe to a work of art and science. The white chocolate raspberry Frappuccino is the best I have ever tasted. The symphony of flavors lingers, leaving tasty notes of raspberry that should cut the bite for even the greatest coffee critic. The coffee cake was simply amazing… I’ll definitely be back the next time my journeys take me to Tahoe. Five stars, hands down.

A great mom n pop coffee shop that, despite being busy, performed quick service and got my signature drink made to perfection. Iced Mexican mocha triple shot lined with caramel, topped with whipped cream and just a skoche of raw sugar for presentation. It’s like a love explosion for your mouth.

Great little coffee shop. Cappuccino, Americano and baked goods all delicious. Very cosy vibe, décor and music with comfy seating inside and out. Forget about Starbucks and try the Coffee Lab — much better!

Continue to be impressed by this place. I’ve now had several morning meetings here and I’ve always been impressed that we can find a comfy table for up to 4 of us with plenty of room for us to take notes and have laptops. Really, the best thing about this place is that even on a busy morning, we were able to have long conversations at the meeting and WECOULDALLHEAREACHOTHER. I did notice that there is always some confusion with people lining up at the wrong end of the counter. Better signage perhaps so people don’t have to lose their place in line as they tromp over 8 feet away to actually put in their order, then tromp back 8 feet to pick up their order a few minutes later.

This review is from my experience at the shop a few months back. I’m always looking for the best quality cup of coffee when I’m away from home — Davis/Sacramento. I have a map at home in which I jot down all the shops to stop at on road trips and I take notes on ones to avoid. This shop definitely falls into the first category. Their Coffee is both freshly roasted and locally sourced, they don’t grind it until you order it, they do pour overs. The baristas were very knowledgable without being pretentious and were warm and friendly. The atmosphere was great with ample comfortable seating. I visit this area twice a year once in the summer and once in the winter for hiking and snowboarding and I can say I will look for coffee no where else but here during those visits. If you’re interested a well crafted cup of coffee and you’re in the north Tahoe area, this is your shop.

I always have said I needed a coffee I.V. stat… and boy did they did deliver! Coffee really is a science and this gem has aced the class! We were in Incline for an 8 am basketball tourney(I know right) and now I would take the beautiful drive to Incline just to spend some more time in this shop! We stumbled in with sleepy eyes and left excited to try our coffee. Located off one of the main roads in a little strip of stores it was easy to get in and out. The shop has seating in comfy chairs and they have tables and chairs set up as well. The staff is super friendly(sometimes a lost art in coffee shops) and really wanted to educate us on our coffee. I chose the Ethiopian blend with the pour over! Watching my coffee being prepared made me wonder why I ever drink my coffee without it being pressed. The barista really knew his stuff explaining to me where the beans came from, what flavors were infused, and why the pour over has such a unique flavor. The end result… the perfect cup of coffee! I will definitely be back, it is worth the drive from Reno… beautiful scenery… great service… and coffee as an art form!
