I drink my coffee black. This is as good as a cup of coffee gets. Rich, full-​bodied — nice big flavor. Unfortunately I did not note the blend but it was the coffee of the day today. Highly recommend it

I come here for a cup of tea, latte, mocha, or any other drink that suits my needs, before I go to my job. It is very nice, I have great conversations with the people who work here and they’re nice to talk to and trust me, I would rather go here than a Starbucks. No offense to Starbucks they are nice, but in my opinion Marin Coffee Roasters takes the cake. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a cup of coffee, a cinnamon roll, a latte, a brownie, or any other drinks and sweet treats.

Nestled within a cute little upscale square. They have choices of savory and sweet treats. Definitely a tad more $. True to the Marin vibe.
Smaller more intimate shop, no wifi. Plenty of outdoor tables for when the sun is out and for people watching.

I love this cute little neighborhood coffee shop! Tammy is so warm and inviting and the coffee is terrific! She always offers new and exciting baked goods including specialty items such as gluten free treats. I always see someone I know and am always lingering to enjoy the space.

Really nice coffee shop. Vanilla Iced Coffee was on point. Great service for being my first time here. I really liked how they designed the place, definitely had more of a hipster feel compared to Starbucks, which is also good but overrated as fuck. I’d definitely will be coming back sometime soon once my coffee senses start to tingle.

I love this little coffee shop. The most important thing about a store that sales coffee is the coffee, funny thing is, is that people mis this mark. Not here, they always have great coffee wether you get a cup or buy there beans.

Seriously I hate this place. DONT advertise that you have Bubble Tea drinks here if EVERY SINGLE TIME I want to come in for one, you’re out. I even checked with the clerk before ordering one today, and she assured me they did. So I ordered 2 boba drinks and what do you know… Had to get my money refunded because THEY DIDNT HAVE ANY.

This coffee shop is absolutely amazing to their regulars (and there are a lot of those!). Not only do they know them all by name and carry on a conversation day to day, but where else would the staff greet you with a Gandalf quote after finding out you were a Lord of the Rings fan?
I’m not an exploratory menu orderer, but they serve a solid americano & a delicious breakfast burrito, every time. Give it a try!

This is my go-​to coffee spot! I stop here for my daily morning joe on the way to work (plus their divine pumpkin-​cream cheese bread year-​round).
We just started buying their roasted beans (House blend and Costa Rica) to brew at home on the weekends. We went through three bags over Thanksgiving with our house guests it was so delicious!
I love their warm frittatas and their hot chocolate, too. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Thus is my favorite place to get coffee tea and anything else! The new staff is very kind and happy to help with anything, they only charge for more than 4 shots if syrup which is amazing because Starbucks charges for each shot.
The Thai boba/​bubble tea is delicious. Make sure to get it blended because then it feels and looks like a frappuchino ! (But tastes like boba)

I LOVE the coffee from here so they normally would be a 5 star but the Boba was tragic! The pearls were reminded me of what comes from a winter cold because they were so soggy and the thai tea was flavorless which I have NEVER had that problem with Thai Tea. I will try again on another day because I believe in second chances when otherwise I might have liked the place. The Bubble Tea was also blended which I had not had it that way so I did not think that I might want to ask.

Best Coffee House in Marin!
I drive from San Rafael to Novato just for their award winning coffee’s tea’s and delish food selection. The Customer service is beyond excellent if that’s possible,. Tammy and her staff make everyone feel like your in her kitchen sitting around the table having that first cup of coffee with good friends.

We live in the neighborhood and used to come here quite often.
We saw a lot of turnover (which is understandable for a coffee shop) but then the new kids just had no idea what they were doing. (I blame poor training on management for that).
We hadn’t been there in awhile so decided to stop in this morning and dealt with the RUDEST man at the register. His lips were seriously super glued into a frown. No joke, completely incapable of smiling or making us feel welcome.
The coffee was good though! Too bad other coffee shops are good and have a pleasant staff. Hope they figure it out. Love the place and the owners are quite nice.

This is the best coffee you will find anywhere. Blows away Pete’s by a little and Starbucks is not even close. Service is great. Outside seating under the umbrellas is a very nice touch.

I can’t believe there are not more reviews. Tammy and her crew are the friendliest staff anywhere, not just coffee shops. The coffee is good and the frittata dishes are outstanding. I’m not a coffee nut, but I know what I like and the Joe is good here. It is a great neighborhood hangout too. Bring your dog.
