Verizon Authorized Retailer – Wireless Zone

Never again will I visit a Wireless Zone for anything. I recently stopped there to upgrade my phone. Initially, it started off fine and I ordered my phone. Then the lies started. The salesperson told me that if I ordered my phone from Verizon online, it would take over a week to get to me. That was lie number 1. Then, he told me that when they got my new phone, they would do all the transfers for me from my old phone to my new phone so I wouldn’t have to. That was lie number 2. Then he told me the actual Verizon store in the same town wouldn’t be able to help me. That was lie number 3. When I returned to pick up my phone 3 days later, the person in the store was a different person and was very rude. I assume it was because he didn’t make any commission off of me, so he had no interest in helping me whatsoever. When another customer came in the store, he immediately put down my phone and started to help them. Once he finally returned to continue activating my phone, I asked him if he was going to do the transfer for me and he said no, they wouldn’t do that. I’m assuming he just didn’t want to bother with me because that is the impression he gave. I had asked him for a screen protector for my phone and I purchased it from him. He refused to take a debit card and would only accept cash for it, which was very shady. He charged me $ 20 for it. He put it on wrong and it is ruined, so now I have to purchase a new one anyway. It doesn’t stick and is coming off in places. I’ve had it for 3 days, which is ridiculous. So, I went online to find another one to order and found out it is only $ 8.95 for the exact same protector. I paid him $ 20 cash for something that is less than $ 10. I assume that cash went right in his pocket. I had the worst experience ever at this store and have learned my lesson. I will now only go to Verizon’s website or to an actual Verizon store, none of this «authorized retailer» stuff because they do not care about their customers, they only care about the money in their pockets. Very unprofessional and rude. I will be telling everyone I know to stay away from Wireless Zone. If I could give them less than 1 star, I would.
