Amazing-this was the best Italian meal I’ve had in a long time. Gives the north end in Boston a run for their money. Highly recommended.

We sat at the bar that was once out door seating. I’m glad they made more bar space because the indoor bar was kind of small. I have to say, we ordered martinis and they were the absolutely the best martinis we have ever had!!! Olives with half stuffed peppers as garnish! OMG, it was awesome! I wish I could remember the bartenders name that made it because he needs to have accolades ! Chicken parm and stuffed shells were perfect! Pizza was great too. Highly recommend this place.

Our favorite restaurant. Great atmosphere, food is amazing! Great wine list, full bar, diverse menu with outstanding choices & presentation. Dessert is worth it, don’t miss out on the cannolis or large peanut butter cup

I am also a regular to this establishment. Ate at «outside» bar area for lunch with a friend. Nick was overwhelmed. Worst service ever for one of the few places open this time of the year for locals. Ordered a bowl of «kale» soup. Got a cup of minestrone. Ordered bread that never arrived as as a cappuccino that never came. And never even a water refill since that is all I was drinking. I am speechless of how disappointing of a lunch I had at this restaurant. If both your other establishments are closed, maybe they could help out here before you lose the locals too!

Went for lunch with my business partner last week. Chicken noodle soup was straight out of a can. The meat in the short rib sandwich was so dry at the edges that it was crunchy. As bad as I remember it back when it first opened. Come on you can do better than this!

The only nice thing that I experienced about this place was the hostess. She was a sweetheart. My mother and I walked in after walking around main street and we were very tired and hungry. It was really dark and we had a difficult time reading the menu. A server walked up to us and poured water into our glasses without uttering a single word to us, absolutely no greeting at all. He walked off and we were left hanging for a few minutes. Our server was apparently really busy talking to the bartender to come say hello to us. When she finally came over, we started asking her questions about the menu but then she rudely interjected«I just came to introduce myself, I’ll be back to take your orders.» and walked back to talk to the bartender again. We were kind of baffled that she would do such a thing. I’m usually very understanding of servers because I’m a waitress too, but this girl was rude. We then waited for about 10 minutes for her to come back, but she wouldn’t leave the bar. We decided that we didn’t want to stay if we were going to be treated like that. I assume that she thought that we weren’t going to tip well because we both had a long day and we were wearing sweatshirts and our hair was messy from the wind. This place is wicked stuck up and I wouldn’t go back.

Best meatballs hands down. I love the stuffed pepper too. The pizza, pasta and everything in between is amazing! Chris is a great bartender and is always friendly. I give it 5 stars! Did I mention the lobster ravioli?

I’m a regular customer, but have never written a review, so I decided to do it this time. I went there with 2 friends this summer. The server was very friendly and recommend great entrees and apps. For apps we got the imported meats and cheese and it was AMAZING, and the bruschetta summer yummy! I’ve had different kinds of pasta, pizza and their gnocchi, but since I tried their manicotti with meatballs that’s the only thing I order now. It’s to DIE for. I’m not a big fan of meatballs but these ones are an exception. The flavor is just so rich! I’ve sat at the bar, which I really like, indoor(a little too loud) and outside(my favorite). This is the only place I have to get a dessert after because everything is SOGOOD! Definitely a fan and will definitely be back.

Went there today for lunch and sat at the bar. Bartender was very friendly. I was looking over the menu and wanted to get a side salad and pizza. All the salads on the menu were full sized salads, which was a bummer, but the bartender told me that she could do a half order. That was perfect. Salad was very tasty and the pizza was delicious. Staff was friendly, location is great, bar looked clean and the food was great. I’m tough on my ratings so 4 stars is really good. I will be going back there for sure.

One of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in a long time. Our waitress was the sister of the owner & she was wonderful! The spinich salad was delicious, along with the pasta bolognese paired with a Malbac! To finish a cappuccino & Oreo gelato! Everything was amazing and it’s so nice this time of year to have the Cape and restaurants to ourselves :-)

I have been to Colombo’ s many times over the years. We usually sit at one of the two bars(second one just added). The martinis are excellent and probably the best on the Cape. We usually order some pasta and meatballs. The meatballs are delicious! Second to my mothers. I have never had a bad meal here. Make sure you leave room for dessert. The pastries in the display case will tempt you and if you take the plunge, you won’t be disappointed! The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. And the staff is professional and are educated on their menu. That’s tough to find these days, especially on the Cape.

The best service I’ve had in years. The hostess was friendly, the server was fast, the bus boys came by to take empty plates away and others came by to fill up the water and make sure we were happy. The hostess even came by at the end to give our bill back to our server so she didn’t have to walk as far. The short ribs were delicious, the crab cakes were wonderful and the lobster ravioli’s were perfect. We came back 3 days in a row. The first day we came for coffee. The second day we had coffee and a sea salt caramel tart and the third day for dinner. On the second visit the really nice barista(didn’t catch her name) said she was the head pastry chef. I asked her how she made the cool design with the caramel and vanilla sauces on the tart plate and a few minutes later she stopped by with a little plate and let us try it out for ourselves! I thought that was really cool and it just shows her passion. I also ordered everything at the dessert counter and she kindly said she would bring over the coffee’s and dessert to us at the bar area. It’s so much more enjoyable when one goes out to eat or grab a drink and the server or barista goes out of their way to wow you. We will definitely be back next time we visit the Cape. Great job to every single employee at Colombo’s from someone who has been working in the restaurant industry for the last 15 years.

On a family vacation in Hyannis, we were in the mood for something other than seafood so we spent our last dinner in town at Colombo’s. It’s a very cute, quaint, little Italian restaurant with a glass case and a huge dessert menu. Although I would love to speak to its drink selection, I was with my mom and a couple of kids so I had to go dry, but their wine list looked great and they had a full bar with several top shelf options. The server was incredibly fast and also very friendly. He didn’t speak English all too well(I think I remember hearing he was from Brazil) but we connected on the major words so all was well. Overall he did a great job with our demanding party of 7. Although most everything looked delicious, I settled on my old standby, chicken parmesan. Oh my delish! The chicken was extremely juicy and tender, and breaded perfectly, and I think they had some of the best restaurant pasta sauce I’ve ever had. I’ll be honest, I’m not a fan of most restaurant sauces. Either they’re too soupy, too chunky, or they taste like a mouthful of tomato paste. Colombo’s had the right consistency and a fantastic flavor. We sat in the indoor patio and although I can’t really say it’s the restaurants fault, it was incredibly noisy in there. We had to shout a bit just to talk each other. Not that it’s a deal breaker, just an observation. My entire party was satisfied with their dinners, which ranged from turkey bolognese, lasagna, a meatball panini, and manicotti with meatballs. It’s rare that everyone enjoys their food so kudo’s to Colombo’s!

Take the noble chicken breast. Everyone has cooked a zillion of them. Or in my case, overcooked them, which is easy to do. Tonight I had the best chicken breast I have ever tasted. In fact, tonight’s dinner may have been the best meal I had on the Cape this week. We arrived on a Thursday evening and enjoyed the band serenading the outdoor diners. Unfortunatey there were no outside tables available, so we were quickly found a table inside. The restaurant is pretty big with a lot of things to look at. You can see the pizza oven and the cook twirling and tossing pizza dough. You can look at the impressive freezer case of many different gelatos, and you can drool over the amazing bakery showcase of things that look too gorgeous to eat. Our party started off with a Prosciutto and melon appetizer($ 10.95) with 3 nice slices of melon sitting on a bed of thinly sliced prosciutto garnished with some balsamic and raisins. The melon was ripe and sweet, the prosciutto was rich and salty, and the balsamic and raisins finished the plate off very well. Our entrees were Seafood Ravioli($ 20.95), Gnocchi($ 14.95), and Chicken & Sausage(15.95) which I ordered with Fra Diavlo sauce instead of their cream sauce. It was divine. The chicken cutlet was just perfect– moist, tender, just perfect. The sausage was equally stellar– chunks of ground sausage about the size of a quarter– amazing flavor in every bite. The Fra Diavlo sauce was pretty hot, but not overly so, and thankfully without those GD capers I detest(they always seem to make their way unannounced in Fra Diavlo dishes). It was all served over ziti — a terrific dish. We took home 2 desserts– a slice of chocolate ricotta pie($ 5.95) and a nice éclair($ 5.50). All of this, plus 3 beers ran $ 95.50. Our waiter was a charming guy, except he neglected to bring out our bread plate until after the entrees hit the table, and only after I asked for it. I don’t think he would have brought it out had I not asked.
