Best of everything !! I love goat biryani the most! It’s not an ideal place for dining, since it’s a part of gas station. Prices are very reasonable. And their catering options are great. I got a biryani tray for a party and everyone loved it.

Mom’s Spice is in a gas station but don’t let that turn you away! Great Biryani and Tikka, Naan and more… If you need it a little milder tell them like I had to. But my husband loves everything as it is! And the prices are great! On some days they run specials. You can’t pass Mom’s spice up! My husband goes all the time for lunch during lunch break with all the employees.

Been here a few times. I usually get the chicken curry which is good, very spicy and tastey, but a few days ago decided to go with the Tuesday special, chicken biryani and when I got it it was not hot it was lukewarm, but tasted very good and it did not reheat well the rice was crumbly after reheating. But I still loved the taste, just not the mild upset stomach problems. Will I go again, you betcha, because it’s close, cheap, and tastey. It is probably the best Indian food locally. So give it a try if you like close to authentic Indian food, that is very spicy.

Have been to this restaurant way more than a handful of times, it is my local favorite Indian restaurant in DFW.

I have been craving some good samosas, and I am still looking. My first impression when I drove up was to keep going, except I had already called in my order. I really need to start following my first impressions more. This was inside a rather sketchy gas station. And it kind of smelled when I went in. The place was small and cramped with minimal finish out. My first thought when I took a bite was they need to clean the grease in the fryer. And the dough was tough but on the other had the meat was dry(for being greasy meat) made kind of nauseated. Not sure I can eat the rest. Wish me luck on my search as I continue

Yep, it’s in a gas station… I almost decided to go somewhere else and I am so glad I didn’t. Mom’s Spice has a lunch buffet and for the price it’s pretty good. Obviously not the best Indian food out there but satisfying is a simple, quick lunch kind of way. They charge for individual sodas and water is kept in a pitcher by the buffet, which is something I wasn’t to thrilled about. But if your in the mood for a quick Indian lunch this is a good place to try and see for yourself.

Great food. No doubt about it. But customer service is a big part of any business. One of the two Hispanic ladies that work there(the bigger one) is very rude and condescending. Rolls eyes and gets an attitude whenever asked a question. The other lady skinny one is the exact opposite, very pleasant and helpful. Please get rid of her.

We were amazed how good the food was-excellent! The place is inside a gas station, which signifies something less then expected. However, don’t let the exterior deter you from trying the food here because it absolutely worth tasting. Some advice is to order a head of time, due to being freshly cooked. I would think it is probably better take out then dining in. We tried the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, Naan, and a Beef Kebab roll, and all under $ 30. To describe the entrees: The curry in Tikka Masala was flavorful with a medium spice to it. The Beef Kebab roll was grounded beef with another flavor, kind of like sandwich. Chicken Biryani is full with rice and chicken with assortment spices… very good.

I crave this Chicken Tikka Masala! I call ahead and order and drive over 10 miles to pick it up from a gas station. That tells you how delicious it is! Very fresh, spicy, and perfectly seasoned. The owner is super nice. I tried the buffet once and it was a great value with a lot of options. If you like Indian good and are not concerned about a very basic location then this is a gem!

Awesome chicken tikka masala and biryiani! Plenty of food for two to share. Wish naan came with it, but paying extra for it was worth it

Man this place is low key and over the top, the food is great, tandoori chicken, birani, Rita, nan, etc, great people! This place is destined for greatness I see them moving to a new larger location at any time in the near future.

In terms of food quality and taste, this place is amazing. Don’t be fooled by the location or the proximity to a gas station. Call it a gas station Indian food place if you want to, but I’ll still go there again and again Tried the buffet, it’s on weekdays for 8.25 with tax and worth every penny. The fish is really good, and the mutton curry. Mmm. Amazing. Give it a shot!

Had the Chicken Biryani, love it! On Tuesday, it is only $ 2.99 but still a large portion. Delicious, cheap and filling, those are all that matter. Definitely will come back very soon to try the buffet!

So Unilocalers got it right again. Obviously not the fanciest place, but DANG that was some good indian food. Would definitely go there again.

Hhhhmm I mean can you really expect a 5 star dinner at a place that’s inside a gas station? So I never really had that high hope for this place but I will say that Moms spice is a hit or miss for me. I have eaten here twice and well the first time i gave my dish 4 star, I had the chicken tikka masala dinner and it was good and didn’t give me food poisoning but the second time i wish I could say otherwise, I had the chicken samosa(PLEASEDONTGETTHIS), veg samosa, and mango lassi and those didn’t sit well in my stomach so beware of this place, and if you have a sensitive stomach. AVOID

Love this place. The food is always delicious and the staff is friendly. They have a great lunch buffet. Don’t let the fact that it’s located in a gas station fool you. This place is a diamond in the rough.

Worst Indian food I have ever had… ordered chicken tikka masala, said she was out. Only had chicken curry. No problem, I like chicken curry so I ordered one to go, along with some naan. Got it home, no rice. Worse, it had full pieces of chicken with the bone in, and was a grey color. Worst tasting than it looked. So bad I ended up having to go to mcdonalds to eat. The naan? Chewy. Steer clear if you want decent indian food.

It is NOT fast food!!! Most dishes take 45 minutes to make. Your best bet is to call your order in about a half an hour before u go, that way you don’t have to wait so long! Amazing food, great prices…& we are really friendly! Come on down & try our Chicken Biryani… it is the biggest seller. On Tuesdays chk b is only 2.99!

I love this place. Cheap and delicious. Not fast, though. Definitely not fast. The skeleton crew is typically overworked and can take like 20 – 30 minutes on average to have it ready. Just call it in and pick up. Only fools/n00bs go in to place their order. And yeah, it’s a dive(it’s in a gas station, what did you expect?), but they make tandoori chicken to die for. Delicious rice, too. The chicken biryani is bone-in, and there will be large, uncrushed spices to warn you about, so watch your fillings. There also isn’t much chicken in the biryani(it’s mainly rice), but the flavor is awesome. And I did mention that it was cheap, right? They also have daily specials so on certain days of the week, the biryani is *extra* cheap. The tikka masala is a bit of a disappointment. The flavor is good, but the amount of oil/separation of the sauce can make it rather unappetizing. Just skip it. The best thing, IMHO, is their chicken boti burrito. Yeah. An Indian burrito. It’s pretty amazing. I just request it spicy with extra sauce. They also have gyros and fries. Burgers too, I think. But get that burrito!!!
