Stopped here for breakfast after spending the weekend at Cedar Point and we’re so happy we did. It was great food, and large portions at a good price and the service was perfect. It was very clean. I love these kind of places. It feels like someone’s old country kitchen including very country decorations. It will be a yearly stop from now on.

Breakfast was great. The wait times for anything is a bit long. Waitress was overwhelmed.

Pancakes were good: large, moist and slightly chewy. Scrambled eggs were super-fresh and tasty. Son had chicken fried steak for the first time and loved it. Sausage links and patties were a bit mediocre service was super friendly

Service was horrible, not a very clean place to eat, owner is very unprofessional and seems to be extremely unorganized. Someone needs to manage this place or it will not make it another 5 years.

Breakfast here was a great way to end a fun-filled vacation at cedar point: with full bellies filled with good food. This local diner is filled with cute old-fashioned iron signs and other old memorabilia. They offered the local paper to read, which was much appreciated. Another thing that we appreciated was how nice the menu was! It has specials galore and tasty omelette concoctions. Our waitress, Kimberly, was very attentive and friendly. We inquired about the«garbage can», a HUGE omelette for 20 $ that could feed a family of four easily. It sounded like a joke but she told us a funny story about how a little 100 pound Asian lady finished the entire thing by herself in less than an hour! We didn’t feel that daring this morning, and ordered normally. The food that came out were proportionate to the prices, in fact even a little generous. I had a $ 4 oatmeal bowl with blueberries that was in a HUGE bowl and very tasty. The pancakes that my brother ordered were smothered in Almost a full can of whipped cream, just what he wanted. My dad’s huge«3 pig omelette» is self-described as «good; nice and meaty». My mom’s French toast is also«really really good». We left the place with smiles on our faces after having a nice conversation with the staff, really ending the meal and the start of our day on a good note.

We were looking for the place the locals eat while moving to our next vacation spot. Found it! Friendly conversation, bottomless coffee and extra whipped cream and chocolate in my son’s hot chocolate. Portions are large and delicious. Clean restrooms and restaurant. The waitresses call the locals by name but we’re just as friendly to the tourists.

This restaurant needs a lot of improvement I am usually in there for breakfast, which I can say the breakfast is very well priced and you do receive large amounts of food for your dollar. The service needs a whole lot of improvement, everytime I am in there to eat there is only 1 server working the floor and she can not give that good of service because she is the only one there. Food is a big part of bringing the customers back, but honestly when the server can not be attentive enough it makes you not want to return, because you can alway go to another business and get good food and service elsewhere.

Found this place on Unilocal. We stayed at Sawmill Creek for a few days and didn’t want to eat at the hotel. This place was wonderful. Great food, huge portions, great service and good price. Probably going back again tomorrow before we head out of town to go home. Highly recommended.

Had breakfast this morning. This seems like a locals place. Very friendly staff. Non assuming building and interior but clean. Food was great and PLENTIFUL. Unless you are a very big eater share your order with someone — seriously. Pancakes were the size of the plate, literally. And they were fluffy and yummy! One teenage son had biscuits and gravy and it looked like 3 biscuits laid open! He couldn’t finish it. The other other had a «scramble» with included every breakfast food!!! Did I say huge portions? If you like good, home cooked food for breakfast you will love this place.

A little hard to find but we’ll worth the effort. The portions are huge and real creamer with the coffee

Wasn’t too satisfied with the service. My wife and I walked in & sat down. A table of 4 ppl & another table of 2 walked in AFTER us and sat. They both ordered and got their food BEFORE us. Then our food finally came. It’s was OK at best. I got the strip steak with eggs and hash browns. Strip steak tasted like some normal ground beef, skillet fried. Hash browns were really greasy. I wasn’t pleased. I’m still trying to figure out why this place got so many stars. I only gave it two because the girl who waited us was nice.

No complaints, no praise. The food was pretty good, the service was decent. Pretty much what you’d expect from a country diner like this.

This is my go-to breakfast joint when staying in the Sandusky area. Lots of choices on the menu and I have never had a bad meal. The 3 pigs omelet is my favorite, comes with bacon, sausage, and ham. Great for a low carb diet! My wife and I ate here for breakfast on Mothers Day and the place was packed! People were waiting in line to get in. What was most impressive was the hustle that the staff was doing to keep up with the crowds and turn over the tables. The staff was working hard to deliver a great experience as quickly and efficiently as possible, and the food was still great! A+

We are a family of Pittsburghers that found this place via Unilocal while visiting family for the weekend. Perfect place for a big country breakfast. Very clean, very friendly, great atmosphere, fair prices and yummy food. We’ll definitely be back. Oh yeah– the pancakes are huge. You’ve been warned. :)
