The bowls are pretty standard to any Mongolian place. Sauces are hit or miss(some days, they taste watered down). Watch for ice taking up space in your bowl. The thing that most impresses me here is the sushi — which is really good. Better sushi than I’ve had at the other two places in town. Service could use a little bit of work. A couple of times, the server was inattentive, and once the guy was rude. My friend

If you get beef — prepare to chew for days. They overcook the heck out of the beef. Other than that, everything else is really good. It’s an ok price for what you get. All in all, it’s just«ok».

Everything here is subpar. I’ve given this location several chances and I’ve tried at least one thing from every category including the flavored sake. It still hasn’t met my expectations for what they are charging. The bowls are mediocre and don’t seem to be made from very high quality ingredients. While the sushi is certainly visually appealing, if you get one of those elaborate combos, the taste doesn’t match up at all. The regular sashimi style is also VERY lackluster. The wait staff here has been very hit or miss. I’ve either had a good waiter or had a terrible one. Sometimes I’d get my drinks soon and sometimes I would have to wait until the appetizer got here. Definitely not a place to take a date with discerning taste. Maybe just stick to the bar and their impressive alcohol selection.

02/26/2015 Last night we ate here for a belated birthday dinner for the hubby. Came in, was seated quickly, waiter came and said his line. We asked for water for me & the toddler and a root beer as well as edemame and rice balls for the toddler to eat while we wait for our food. At first and understandably the waiter seemed confused so we made the hand motion of someone mushing sushi rice together and we even pointed out to the menu that we want it like the nigiri sushi just no meat on top. He seemed like he understood then and asked us how many do we want for the toddler. We said three. So he went and spoke to his manager came back and said ok. It’d be about a dollar each. *shrugs* sure why not. We gave him our order, bearkat roll & hornet roll for me and I forget what the husband got. 20mins passed and he comes back… Not with our edemame or rice balls but saying that only now the chefs are getting our order because they had unplugged the printer(I guess to fix a glitch) when he put our order in. He apologizes and said that the manager would comp us the edemame and rice balls. A few more minutes passes and he has a coworker help him deliver the edemame and three BOWLSOFRICE. I mean we had mentioned that the toddler does like rice but not THAT much. We made the silly hand motion again to explain our case to the coworker and he said«so just sushi just no meat» but then our waiter(can’t remember his name, sorry) tried to make it seem like we asked for three freaking bowls of rice in the first place and we’re just trying to be difficult. We did say that our request was accommodated last month when we ate there but they took it like«Yea whatever» Food gets out, we nom, we utilize the Unilocal offer of 15% off, then he gives us the check. The edemame and rice bowl is on it. Not three, thank goodness, but just one. We asked him«I thought you said the manager was going to comp us the edemame and the rice?» «lemme check with my manager» goes… Comes back. «sorry he said that he couldn’t take off anymore» The hubby said«OK we’ll just leave a bad review» yes rude on his part but having to wrangle a toddler after repeated disappointments. I think you can see where his attitude was coming from. The waiter goes and process our payment and instead of handing us the book he tosses it onto the table as he’s walking to the next table. Now THAT was rude. We like the food and its prices but if customer service can really change that much in less than a months time I’m not sure if we want to keep giving them our business.
