Lifeway Christian Stores

Love Lifeway bookstore. Being in ministry, sometimes I need to purchase harder to find items. They are very helpful and always order if they don’t have in stock. They have also called other stores when they think something may be discontinued. They always have a great monthly sale too.

I’ve been so used to purchasing Christian books and materials from other locales such as Books A Million or Barnes and Nobles that I decided to give this location a chance. Knowing full well that I would more than likely pay a higher premium on materials due to the exclusiveness of the subject matter, I was pleasantly surprised in the pricing. I went into the location looking for a very specific type of study bible, and left with exactly what I was looking for with help from two employees that took the time to listen on what I was looking for and then making the extra effort in obtaining it. I spent a good two hours in the store in a very comfortable setting reading and analyzing material that I needed. I was not hassled or rushed, yet I really didn’t expect to be. I was able to converse with many other customers that overhead my purchasing requirements and ultimately made the decision based on their insight as well as that of the store employees, coupled with my own analysis (MacArthur study bible, NASB). The store even offers to have your bible engraved as you wait, versus sending it out on special order (what I previously experienced).
I left the store very satisfied with my purchase and pleased to see that this was one location that highly valued customer service. After leaving, I noticed a competitor store just down the street on University Drive yet didn’t really bother to get its name due to my satisfaction with this Lifeway Christian store.
