They have absolutely no regard for people’s time. I came in for a simple issue, I was told it would be 20 – 30 minutes and almost 2 hours later I was informed the car was just now being pulled up. This is also the second time I’ve come here and have been ignored by employees who are occupied on their phones or in personal conversations.

My salesman Phil was phenomenal. From start to finish he was great. He even offered to help me fix a issue with the 04 Avalanche I bought on his own free time! To bad the same can’t be said about the sales managers… The issue I had was the tailgate wouldn’t lock. I brought this up to them less than 24 hrs after the purchase. Now I understand that I bought it «as is», but have a locking tailgate was important to me. At first they said they would have a mechanic look at it while they were performing other services to it. When I went to pick it up, they told me it wasn’t fixed because the mechanic never looked at it. They say he didn’t look at it because it was 2 – 3 hours labor to take the tailgate apart to reach the lock and that’s 3 – 400 dollars in labor and they already gave me a good deal… Seriously?! I told them I watched YouTube videos the night before and its a couple screws and popping off the faceplate and the lock could be accessed. They seemed to ignore that and continued saying labor was too expensive. Umm ok. First off the mechanics work there right? So it’s not costing them 100/​hr to have their own employees look at it. Second of all that 2 – 3 hrs and $ 300-​$ 400 in labor was just plain bs!!! I know this because out of frustration I just right now, took the two star screws out using Alan wrenches (glad I didn’t strip them) and fixed it myself with a screw driver and wd-​40!!! In less than 10mins!!! I know i bought it «as is» with a power train warranty, so it’s technically not covered, but you would think since I was back the very next morning and it was something so minor but so important to me they would have did it for me just to make a happy customer! I even offered to pay for a new lock if they would just cover the install, but nope they weren’t gonna do it (Glad I didn’t do that now). Good thing they have Phil and other guys like him, cause the sales managers are all about profit and not building lasting relationships! Still can’t believe that, myself, whose never worked on a car before, can watch a YouTube video and fix something in a little over 5 mins but a mechanic at a well known big time car lot can’t even access it in 3 hrs let alone fix it! Or that’s what they would have me believe! Man, I just really don’t like being lied too. The sales manager that wrote me up did get rid of a sound in the steering wheel I heard in the test drive (I give credit where it’s due). But when I was there today asking for help on the tailgate lock, they (Him and another Manager) really just treated me like a idiot. I still rate my experience a 4 (would have been a definite 5) because after the disappointment Phil did about all he could to help me out. Like I said earlier, even offering to try to help me fix it on his own time! That’s great customer service there!
