My wife and I go here semi-regularly with friends. I don’t really crave salads, but I’ve always liked Jason’s Deli’s salads. They keep it clean and stocked well. One thing that probably gets over looked by a lot of customers that I appreciate is the drink fountain. They have two different ice dispensers and long line of drink nozzles. I don’t know why I’m such a huge fan, but it makes you not have to wait in line for refill if you’re in a hurry. The customer floor is very clean and laid out in the way every other Jason’s Deli is laid out. This one feels smaller than other Jason’s Delis I’ve been to, but it isn’t small. You can’t beat free ice cream too!

This chain gets 5 stars for the excellent and inexpensive salad bar! This is my favorite restaurant for getting a salad. However, I’ve tried their vegetarian sandwich(pesto and mozzarella) and thought it was disgusting. But, I love that salad bar.

Personally, Jason’s Deli has always been a little disappointing in the quality of food. Food: 2 of 5 Atmosphere: 2 of 5 Service: 3 of 5 They have your average deli type food, with soups, salads and sandwiches. I’ve had a few different sandwiches here and all are over-rated especially for the cost. Truthfully I would give this place 3 stars if it wasn’t for the price. A sandwich with a side and drink will usually cost me $ 10 — $ 12, but the quality isn’t anything to write home about and is generally somewhat lacking in flavor. I also usually ask for no mayo on my sandwich, but it’s still on my sandwich at least 50% of the time. A cup of soup will usually cost about $ 4 — $ 5 and again isn’t great at that price point. Service is usually ok, it’s generally pretty slow in my opinion, but the staff is always nice. The salad bar is decent and if you’re going to come here, the salad bar would be what I recommend. Lastly, although the food isn’t amazing the free ice cream is!

I am absolutely in love with Jason’s Deli. I cannot get enough of this place. Their spinach veggie wrap is a must-try and I can’t thank them enough for their free ice cream. I always break the rule and have dessert before my meal. Fresh food, great service and consistent results. Thank you.

Jason’s deli is the place to go for healthy food. I have eaten here many times. Lots of folks go there after exercising, including me me. Very casual atmosphere, so you don’t feel funny in running shorts or even wet hair. It has one of the best salad bars, lots of variety, in Huntsville. My favorite thing are the tiny muffins. Get the pumpkin spice, darker colored ones, our favorite. If you are in the mood to indulge yourself there are stuffed potatoes and free ice cream. I’m so glad they have vegetarian food! Large menu. You wait on yourself, even though the staff is friendly. I have been disappointed in the cleanliness of the bathrooms the last few times I’ve been there.

Jason’s is pretty consistent. This is no exception. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, the food is good. Salad and a great sandwich, no drink, $ 13. Great lunch. I’m stuffed. But I feel good about ME cuz I stuffed a big green salad down my throat.

Disappointing. Based on other Unilocal reviews, I expected a better experience, but we were letdown. Stopped in the other night on the way home from work. Did a take-out order consisting of 2 small soups(Fire Roasted Tortilla & Broccoli Cheese), a Chicken Club Salad(original size), a piece of Pumpkin spice cake and a walnut-cranberry cookie. Went just a bit over $ 20 total. Ate the cookie on the ride home. Soft, lacked flavor. When I got home, took everything out of the take-out bag. First thing we noticed was that the Pumpkin spice cake was wafer thin, for $ 3.29, it seriously lacked value. It actually fell apart when we picked the container up so I decided to bring it back for a refund the next day. Soups were decent tasting. My fiancée liked the chicken on her salad, said it was very good. But some of the lettuce had brown edges. Also, I feel the salad was not worth $ 8.29. So I returned the Pumpkin spice cake the next day for a refund(see my pic). Needless to say, we won’t be back to Jason’s Deli in the future. Overall, it’s way over-priced for what you get.

I love it when a place gives me the option to order half a sandwich and a soup or a side salad, because I’m so indecisive and I want a bit of everything. I had half of the California Club sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheese soup. It came with a side of my choice, which was organic blue corn chips with salsa. I like that they have organic options here. The sandwich was alright. I enjoyed the chips. And the complimentary soft serve ice cream.

Ive been there a total of two times, each at different locations. All stores are alike and always very clean. The staff is very nice, friendly, and upbeat. They have free ice cream and muffins(which are good). Its cheap and the food is GREAT! Would definitely recommend!

Good food and great Service. I had the reuben sandwich and it was Great. The guy who took my order was thorough, and explained the selections to me perfectly. Too bad they don’t have a deli like this back home. I would recommend to you if you are looking for a great lunch spot.

It has been a while since my last review on Jason’s Deli. It is still good and delicious. There are so many items on the menu, so I have decided to write an update and recommend some of their specialties. ***Salad*** 1. Salad Bar. I believe it is $ 8 for unlimited salad. Layer the cucumbers, bell peppers, artichokes hearts, bacon bits, feta cheese on top of the greens, top it off with the Cranberry/walnut/sun flower seeds mix, and drizzle the balsamic vinaigrette or the french dressing. Get the amazing tuna pasta salad on side. Finish with the banana pudding or the chocolate musse. 2. Nutty-Mix salad. It’s an organic spinach based salad, with feta cheese and grapes and nuts, finished with balsamic vinaigrette. It’s amazing. **Sandwiches*** 1. Rueben the great is amazing. Every rueben that I ever get from this place, all looked magazine-grade, ready for its photo shoot. 2. Muffuletta(see picture) Don’t let the funny name fool you. If you are an olive lover, you are in for treat. It is a giant loaf of sesame bread with layers of black/green olives, cheese, and ham. A whole Muffuletta is about the size of my face, so, a «quarter» is typically enough for a meal, or «half», if you are hungry. **Potatos*** Plain Jane Potato is hearty, but if you want something different, try their Pollo Mexicano Potato is cheesy and flavorful ***Light*** Don’t sacrifice the flavor just because you want to eat light. Try their Savvy Chicken Salad Wrap. It’s unique– fresh and have a very clean tast to it. Get the fruits on the side. ***Soup*** You can’t go wrong with their spicy tortilla soup, unless, of course you don’t like spicy food. ***Portion Control Option*** 1. Sandwich & Side Salad Bar. Their meals are usually pretty big. Since I have to do portion control, I usually order a half sandwich with a side salad, and ask them to put the half sandwich as «to go», and I’ll enjoy the half salad in the restaurant. The half salad means they give you a smaller plate for the salad bar, and no refills. But the plate is still big enough(prob around 8 to 10 inches in diameter) and should easily fill you up. 2. Salad bar to go. Even eating in the restaurant, I would get this option. This allows me to fill the to-go container they gave me with all the goodies from the salad bar,. The container is pretty big, so you can really pack a lot of things in it. Then, eat it in the restaurant. Since it’s already in a to-go container, you won’t feel you are obligated to shove it all down. Just pack it, take it with you, and enjoy it later.

I haven’t had a muffeletta since I was in New Orleans so I was very excited to try their version. It did not disappoint at all! I shared a whole one with my significant other and I wasn’t even able to eat my share. The sandwiches are huge! The free soft serve ice cream was an added bonus. The place was clean with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Service was top notch. Friendly and reasonably timely. Price was exceptional. $ 16 fed both of us for lunch. I’m sure I’ll be making another stop here before I leave town!

Jason’s is by far my favorite deli/sandwich type place. They have a ton of great options. If I’m ever in charge of choosing where to go for lunch or a casual dinner, this is where I choose. My favorite choice is the Poppa Joe sandwich and broccoli cheese soup! The salad bar is always fresh and has a lot more variety to it than most places. They also offer some nice freebies with your food, no matter what meal you get. Muffins, crackers, and ice cream!

Jason’s is top notch in my book! Portions are large and there is something for everyone, from the excellent Muffaletta(available with turkey instead of ham and salami) to the Mediterranean Wrap for those watching their fat and calorie intake. Their salad bar is second to none. The food is always delicious and consistent. For those suffering from Megalophobia(fear of large things) don’t order the Reuben, it will scare the crap out of you. This place gets crowded very quickly at lunchtime and their system of ordering(multiple stops) makes a bad situation worse. (yes, I stole a large portion of this review from my review of the Jason’s accross town…)

I’m in Huntsville a few times every year for work and I make it a point to have lunch at least once every trip at Jason’s Deli. I only wish we had a place like this out in California! This place is always busy, and there’s a VERY good reason why. Fair prices for sandwiches PILED high with meats and cheeses. The bread has always been great as well here. This past visit I went for the half Muffaletta sandwich. If this is a half, I can’t imagine seeing someone able to eat a whole one. The olive relish was as close as I’ve seen/had outside of New Orleans. It does seem to be impossible to actually duplicate the amazing flavors found in the home of the Muffaletta, but Jason’s gets mighty close! The chips and pickle are just out of a bag/jar and are pretty cliché. But really, are you coming here for the sides? No. It’s all about the sandwiches here and Jason’s delivers every time. The free soft serve ice cream is a nice touch too. :)

Forget about Panera or Atlanta Bread with their frilly sandwich creations. This is a true deli. Reminds me A LOT of Carnegie Deli in NYC and I think it may even have an edge. The Yankee sandwich has enough pastrami and corned beef to feed two. Try their cookies out as well. Jason’s, come open a location in CT immediately!

Really great sandwiches here along with a large salad bar including pasta. My favorites are the Beefeater sandwich and the chicken pot pie. The best part is the soft serve ice cream. I always use it to make me a coke float.
