Left after waiting 15 minutes for a single drink. Then after 25 minute waiting for chips… Yea chips, we both decided to cash out and find another place to go. Kitchen obviously cant keep up with the clientele. I don’t recommend unless you’re an hour and a half away from actually being hungry. Wait staff was nice, and forth coming about the wait time. Still doesn’t make it acceptable.

Lived here in the HSV/MAD area for over 10 years and never heard of this place, my bad. Nice, divey local bar with great food. Stopped by shortly after lunch during the week and had a Rueben(I’ve had better) and two drafts for $ 12.00 minus tip. Amazingly the silverware was SPOTLESS! The overall facility and bathroom were clean as well. Big plus is that the bartender was very good(Courtney, I believe her name was) personable and the ambiance was ok. Ate at the bar and folks seemed very sociable. Looks like daytime crowd is made up of locals, court house, office workers, lawyers, etc… Don’t know about the nighttime crowd… Might be worth checking out at night when they have live music.

Same cronies and local yokels every night except Battle of the Bands events. Not a place to take a date.

Came into town late in a sunday night on a business trip. As there weren’t a lot of open places nearby we ended up here Im glad we did. Got in under the cut off for the kitchen closing time. Never felt rushed. Food was great. One of the rare occasions i ordered a hamburger in a restaraunt. I like mine well done and most chefs refuse to do so Cheesebuger was great. Perfectly cooked. Cooked through yet not over done The waitress was great. Very helpful and friendly. She referred us to a few local places to go later in the week. We will definitely stop back here again.

We had great food here and listened to their battle of the bands! It was fun to be outside where there are two different bars and great patio service. Parking was easy and I plan on going here again to check out more live music!

Story on this place is that the original owner bought the building to open a bar, but his wife wanted to open an antique furniture shop. The compromise was a bar where all the furniture was for sale. If you look around you can still find price tags on some of the fixtures. Staff(4⁄5 stars) This is the bar where everybody knows your name. The staff has always been nothing less than warm and welcoming to me, the foods has always been on point, and the atmosphere is generally calm and casual. Bartenders and waitresses are awesome and the manager(Eddie) is an amazing guy that you’ll want to be best friends with the moment you meet him. The owner(Mark) is usually there as well, but you should probably avoid him — he’s a completely rude and self-centered jackass. Food(3⁄5 stars) The food is great and even after the kitchen closes they keep a late night menu with appetizers and bar food which is what you would expect of drunk bar food. My two favorite dishes here are the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the Chef’s Burrito. Once a week(Mondays) they have $ 7.50 steak night and the steak is really good, but the cook is not the most accurate on how you want it cooked — requests for medium rare are sometimes answered with medium well. Beverages(5⁄5 stars) I don’t usually order complicated drinks, but the bartenders here are professionals and know how to make all the cocktails. The drinks are reasonably priced and there’s almost always some sort of special on certain beers, shots, or liquors. These bartenders can handle high volume — not like your typical bar in Huntsville where the moment they get packed you have to wait forever to get a bartender’s attention — these ladies can sling some drinks. Facilities(5⁄5 stars) They have a huge stage out back for bands with a giant projector TV screen, TVs throughout inside, and three different bars to order drinks from. Smoking is allowed on the back patio, but not inside the bar anymore(changed around March 2015). There are two bathrooms for each gender; each bathroom only accommodates one person at a time, but they are kept nice and clean(something you rarely see in a bar these days). The only thing I would ever dream of changing about this bar is they should upgrade their POS so that you can order drinks on one tab from any of the three bars. Oh, and upgrade the electrical system so they don’t lose power to the back patio every Thursday night.

I ordered a burger from here through grub south. It was… OK, a little greasy, but Ok. I could have made a better burger at home. Hopefully better when eating in.

I’m giving this place 5 stars because of the upgrades they have done out back. They have a new stage, Jumbotron sized TV, new bar. This and the Nook would together get my nod for the best outdoor space in the bar category. Friendly servers and the food has always been good here. I suggest you go, but go out back.

This place likes to be more«frou frou» than anything. It has an ok beer selection, but not really considering it is in larger city and its 2014. The food is ok. The quesodillas are decent. The fries are like Rally’s. The chicken fingers are the same you can get from any frozen food vendor. Nothing fancy, but they act like it is, and your looking at $ 10 a plate for o.k. bar food. People rave over the food. I do not see it. Here is the story of one of the worst sandwiches and dining experiences I have ever had. The waitress we had was not a good one from the start. The waitress could not answer one question about the food we asked. We ordered our food. I order the pimento cheese sandwhich with bacon and tomato. We waited 45 mins for our food. In the meanwhile, after waiting like 15mins to get her attention, I had ordered us drinks from the waitress. After 15 minutes without them, I decided to go to the bar. I waited in line, and the entire time I waited there was food sitting on the bar. People, guest and bartenders alike, reaching over the food. I get to the bar, order my drinks, and the bartender tells me that it was my food. The waitress did not get it. I had to bring it to the table myself. Foregoing the unsanitary conditions with which my food was kept, that I personally witnessed, I decided to just eat it. My wife got the quesodilla, liked it, and ate it. My sandwhich was utterly disgusting. The bacon was burnt. The bread hard. The pimento cheese was all but non existant, spread thin like it was mayo. Not only that, but it tasted like that nasty premade pimento cheese from the grocery store. I took it back to the bar, waited in line, and had them take it off my tab. Its was inedible. I was asked if I would like anything else, but seeing as how the last time I ordered it took 45mins, it sat on the bar god knows how long, I had to serve it to myself, and was disgusting… no thanks.

The bar was a really nice hang out spot! The band Groove performed and were outstanding. The drinks were reasonable and we really enjoyed ourselves. The only downside was the smoking and the unkept bathroom. They do have a a non smoking area but it is in a section that is more of the restaurant and you can’t see the band. There is enough space on the patio and outside where they could make that area smoking as not to disturb the non smokers. The smoking and bathrooms are the only reason for the mark down.

Negative: when you enlarge the patio to attract more patrons, you HAVE to enlarge the bathrooms to accomodate! It’s a mad house on the weekends! Positive: everything else :)

This place had a great atmosphere. They had a huge outdoor patio with a stage and bar. The drink prices were great. Did not eat but food looked good. This is a nice trendy bar that does not have a bunch of yahoos.

This was not our scene… The food was okay and the wait staff was nice, but the place is dirty and raggidy. The decorations were old and hideous, but that can be overlooked. But if you have spider webs around the fake plants and windows, a whole different story. The plates and silverware had seen better days. …Overall, it wasn’t our cup of tea…

While the Furniture Factory has local charm the staff is anything but charming. After eating there on three occations I found the food to be better than average, but the staff tends to be rude, slow, and makes repeated excusses for extremely slow service. Come on this is a Bar & Grill. How can it take an over an hour to get food to the table after you place the order. Then you forget one of the four orders you took. There are much better options in Huntsville.

I suppose I don’t get the hype. We went on a Thursday night and the place was mostly dead. We had a pretty big group and we were just trying out something new. The table was too short for the chairs(you know what I mean, right? When you can’t cross your legs under the table? I HATETHAT). Our waitress was just ok, she was a little slow for me, specially with the lack of people in there that night. I ordered a pasta dish off of their specials for the night. They had called it «Mexican Pasta» and I thought that sounded really intriguing but it was nothing more than an Alfredo dish with WAY too much sauce. My boyfriend got the buffalo chicken sandwich and he was also really disappointed. He said it had little flavor to it and really couldn’t claim the«buffalo» status at all.

First of all we’re regular patron’s of this place and highly recommend you give it a try. The Furniture Factory is a great neighborhood bar & grill where a mix of local patrons and Huntsville area visitor’s gather and enjoy great food, friendship and live music regularly. They have smoking and non-smoking dining areas so you must be 19 years and older too enter. The food menu is quite diverse ranging from a great fresh lettuce wedge with bleu cheese to tender filet mignon Their steaks and cheeseburgers are certified angus and grilled to order not fried. Lunch crowds favor the deli sandwich selections which features a prime rib sandwich that we love. Over the past year they have introduced a fantastic mexican menu selection with latin chefs providing authentic south of the border flavors. Great tasting burrito’s, taco’s, fajitia’s and quesidilla’s. Try the fish taco’s they’re tasty. The bar is a truly unique experience where you find locals regularly gathering for sports events and live music several times a week. Beers range from draft to high gravity selections. $ 4.00 well martini’s and $ 5.00 draft pitcher specials during happy hour from 4−7pm daily bring in the crowds — that’s quite reasonable in today’s bar scene. Service is great and the staff is very friendly. THISPLACEIS A MUSTTRYEXPERIENCE!

This is one of the few real bars in Huntsville. I say that because most bars in Huntsville are either sports bars or part of a chain restaurant. This place is local heavy, but folks are real nice and friendly. Service is usually really good and comes with the Southern hospitality of «sweetie», «darling», and«baby» when addressed by the staff. Personally, I like that . Food is good with some Mexican bar food standouts. Beer selection is just okay, but most customers here stick with Miller or Bud Light. They have your usual liquor selections. Live music on the weekends, sometimes outdoors and sometimes inside. They have a pretty nice patio, with a bar, that the wife and I play card at sometimes. Staff is always really nice, and that’s what makes this place better than average.

Just a local bar and«grill» although they mostly fry the food. The staff is friendly, they have decent live music on weekends, and the bartender«Kate» pours a mean gin and tonic. You can smoke inside in one part of the place, so beware if you don’t. There’s also a patio outside with a bar where you can enjoy the band. I love the name of this place, which is why I decided to try it and I didn’t regret it!
